My mother and I made an appointment to get mani/pedi and eyebrows done. I got acrylic nails and the lady rushed through the whole process. She was very rough and kept throwing my hands around. When putting the tips on, they put the glue on my nail and then dipped the tip into acetone before putting it on. This caused a major burning sensation and even left a burn mark on one of my fingers. When she finally finished, my nails were messy, not well done, and hurting. After finishing, she looked at me and said "okay done, go home" and then said she was tired. My mother who already paid for everything with another worker politely reminded the lady that we still needed to get our eyebrows done and the lady pretty much through a fit because she didn't want to do it and then rushed us into the room and did a poor job because she was rushing. read more

Before the pandemic, this was my go to nail salon, one that I preferred to go to because it was the best place. Sadly - this place has disappointed me to the point of no return. We went for an upcoming wedding and I went with my six year old daughter for a mani/pedi day. Made the appointment - was told to pick a color and was very specific about making sure the nail and toe polish matched. Picked a color by number from the book and the color painted was totally off! Chose a nude similar to OPI bubble bath, but the color labeled with the same number was periwinkle pink/purple. Not only was the color wrong but the pedi massage and lotion all rushed. So when it's time for manicure (gel manicure) the color I thought was matched to my toes were in fact another totally different color. The cuticles were pushed clipped dry and the filing was the most painful experience I've had, I literally had a reaction of pulling my hand away from the technician. My daughter picked a hot pink pedi and what was supposed to be the same mani - ended up leaving with an electric purple. I do not recommend your visit here - find another place to enjoy and relax where you get what you pay for. read more

I went in for a gel manicure. The man who did my nails acted like he was in a rush and was slapping on the gel paint all over my fingers then having me put them in to cure. Not only did I leave with dried gel paint all over my fingers, but the length was completely uneven, cuticles were a mess, and they were painted as if they had grown out for a week already. If I didn't have another appt to get to right after that I would have asked to have them redone by someone else. The man had the nerve to ask me "how will you tip me" on my way out. My daughter and I had been there many times when it was Em Nails and loved it. This time, I had a pedi, she had a mani. Both were terrible. My polish was all over my toes, her nails were barely filed, cut unevenly, polish barely covering her nails. I think these boys were a little more interested in the Giants game than their jobs. Went today for the first time to someone else other than Elle, who I had been SO HAPPY WITH. I have been getting my nails done for years at various places and she was by far the best ever. She left and told me to book with Theresa whose work I have seen and is also very good. They told me she was all booked so I made a 9:30 appointment with whoever was available. MISTAKE. I showed her the color I wanted for my toes and she brought over a completely different one. I told her it was too light and I didn't like it. She said no it was fine and kept painting my toes. She was so rough and abrupt. She kept talking about how great the color was and I continued to disagree. Then I told her I wanted a light purple on my nails. Again she comes over with a color and kept saying isn't it beautiful? I was so clearly disappointed and she kept going talking over me and pretending she did not understand me. Went on about how great it was because SHE picked it. Then I asked for a design barely got to start talking about what I wanted then she talked over me AGAIN and she did whatever SHE wanted and now I have some cheesy 80's nail salon poster ugly 'design' on my ring finger. SO NOT ME. To top it all off she was rough and abrupt and wouldn't stop talking about how great she was. Why was I being rushed out like this when I had an appointment? Then she asked me 5 times if I had a boyfriend and kept talking about how young I looked. Why do we have to get personal? Horrible experience AND I hate my nails. I was disappointed in the pricing since there was a 20% off coupon on yelp that wasn't honored by the establishment. My friend and I went together and both got pedicures and she got a manicure as well; her final bill was $35 not mani and pedi and mine was $30 for just a pedi. The nail polish is not great quality, since I have three toenails that are chipped ( dry time of 20 minutes) and closed toe shoes. Will not be returning read more
