Why is it so hard to keep pumps working? This is not the first time I've had issues but it is the last. First pump wouldn't take my card. Felt like something was stuck inside the card reader. Backed up to the other pump. It worked but didn't have receipt paper which I needed for the car wash. I pay extra at the pump so I don't have to go inside. Full the receipt paper!!! This WAS my favorite place to come and get snacks... I've been coming here for almost 10 years and customer service is usually very good. However the clerk tonight was rude. She cleared the screen while I was putting my number in for my rewards. Then had the audacity to reprimanded me as if I was her child when I told her I was trying to put my number in, stating she asked me but I was on the phone. I told her I answered her, yet she unprofessional proceeded to try and go bacc and forth with me, so I decided to just leave and not to continue with the purchase before things escalated. She told me to have a nice day in a very condescending way and i told her to have one too. There were 2 ladies there and one is really nice. Sinclair gas station with 711 store. Got gas and a car wash, and got to "spin" for a prize at the entrance. I won a free drink which i thought was pretty cool. I got a medium slurpee for $FREE.99 It was amazing. Perfectly frozen. The employees were very nice, as well. The whole place was very clean - inside and out. The car wash didn't completely dry my car, and it still had a few spots on it, but it was all automated so i got what i expected. The gas prices were competitive to the station across the street. read more

Probably the rudest I've ever been treated without cause. I entered 525pm Dec.28th. Bought a big gulp. It's 50 degrees outside im coming off surguery I'm taking an extra 30 seconds to get my cards back into my wallet and get my straw inserted (no one behid me in line). The cashier who has was walked away. In a very loud authoritarian voice says "what do you need"... Extremely rude in nature. I said I'm just situated is that ok? He doesn't even respond. I think maybe thought I was homeless because I wasn't dressed nice, but I'm a local home owner in the area who probably goes to 711 in the area easily over a 100 times a year. read more

I sometimes stop here before work and most of the times that I do there will be 3 or 4 employees working but only 1 person working the register eventho there will be a long line of customers. I live right around the corner so I come here several times a day for drinks, cigarettes, gas ($75 per tank), and several other things. This is (or was) my go-to gas station. Until today. I went to their air machine and put 4 quarters in. Nothing happened. I went inside and told the cashier, expecting an apology and my 4 quarters back. Instead she said we can't give you a refund. Huh? YOUR machine is broken, YOU failed to put an out of order sign up to prevent people from putting money in it, and now you won't give me back the quarters I put into it? Taking someone's money without giving anything in return is the definition of theft. You're willing to lose a daily customer who spends hundreds per month, just so you can keep that $1 that you provided nothing to get? Ok, your choice. I'll never be back, and yeah it kinda sucks because this station is more convenient on my route, and the cigarettes are quite a bit cheaper, but it's the principle of the matter. The worst experience I have ever had at any 7-11. I went in there just earlier, needing to cash back with my purchase. The older lady-assistant manager had a really nasty mug as soon as she saw me(corona virus, I'm Asian) okay whatever. I proceeded to tell her nicely can I please get cash back, she said yes only 10$. I said okay can I purchase two items and just have two transactions. She got really aggravated and said no I'm not giving you 20$. I agreed and continued with the transaction. And when the machine prompted a 5$ option, I said there is a 5$ option can I do a 5 and 10?Ofcourse she told me no angrily. So I hit cash back and when I looked at her, who at the time was extremely annoyed for reasons I don't know. I said "you don't have to be mad." Oh my god she went off the handle. She threw my merchandise off the counter and proceeded to tell me to get the "f*** out" then called me a "bitch" I'm just standing there waiting for her to hand me my cash back, I don't even want the item she threw. I kept asking her can I have my cash back? And receipt? She just kept yelling at me cursing at me and telling me to get the fck out and don't ever come back. And she had to come out of the counter to pick up the item she threw and almost looked like she was about to push me out of the store. I told her don't you touch me. And after a few minutes of her yelling, she then told me she aborted the transaction therefore I will not be getting my cash or receipt. That's fine then I asked for proof or a receipt for it because I pressed cash back and it went through. And after some extreme attitude she finally showed me my aborted receipt. And I walked out no problem went across the street and completed my Transaction there. If that's caliber employee or assistant manager at this location, I definitely do not want to do business with them. Very classless lady. I have never had a cashier threw the stores merchandise, and I was not even being rude. And for the record there were customers behind me like 2-3 people at least and another employee. This lady really went on a power trip, she was ready to push me out physically. All she had to say was oh sorry I aborted your transaction and give me the receipt. Instead of yelling and cursing like a temperamental 5 year old, setting a terrible example for the other employees and ruining other customers impression of this store. From a business stand point, this lady is a liability. read more

I went in one time really late and this older man actually was yelling at me saying how gross I am for buying this aloe Vera drink and making fun of me straight to my face (of course my whimp boyfriend at the time didn't do anything but if I was with a real man the cashier would have gotten his a** kicked.) So incredibly rude. Even on the phone I just called to ask if they do money orders and the lady said "yea" and I said great thank you and she goes "uhuh"with attitude and hangs up. Had the worst experience this morning. I have been getting the same thing every day and there was an apparent price change which resulted in the employee trying to over charge me for the item which I took issue with. The manager came over and wasn't helpful and was condescending and displayed terrible customer service. When I was unsatisfied with his poor service I asked whom his superior wad to make the proper compliment. The manager became indignant and raised his voice to a shout and I reminded him that I am a customer and shouldn't be treated that way . He spoke to me as if I were a child and not a 50 year old tax paying customer. He wouldn't tell whom his boss was and was reluctant to give me his name or a number to call and complain. He then threatened me with police as if I was a criminal. I told him to call because asking for his bosses name isn't a crime . I told the man /Tom was his name that just because I'm black doesn't mean I'm afraid to deal with police especially when someone is gaslighting. Several customers witnessed the managers poor treatment and came and spoke with me as I waited on law enforcement. I waited for 30 minutes and they never came and I left because it was now past 730a and I had to start my work day. I shop in that store daily and never had one issue until today. I felt the Caucasian manager was prejudice and his poor treatment and tone and attitude towards me is what drew me to that conclusion. I am writing this so he won't get away with treating people of color like they are less than deserving of good and proper customer service. read more
