Driving through town so came in and ordered a To-Go order. Madelyn took care of us on Register 3 and while she was very pleasant she was not that attentive and accurate in taking our order. Our food was correct (thus 2 stars - one for our chicken and one for our fries) but the wait was excessive (15 minutes) and I wanted a concrete and was debating with my husband on the size and opted for a small (we had this discussion in front of Madelyn) and after looking at the menu I ordered a "small concrete in the flavor of the day" and she placed my order without questions. My husband ordered a small chocolate concrete with Reese's PB cups but asked for them not to put too many in. After our 15 minute wait we were given a small chocolate concrete and a super tiny FOD concrete. I reminded her I ordered a small and she said it only came in that size. I said I wish she would've told me that when I ordered it. We didn't have time to wait to have it remade. It was supposed to be a chocolate and caramel concrete but there was no caramel on it so I asked if they could at least put that on it. When we got to the car I looked at my receipt and my concrete that was about 1/4 of my husband's small was $4.09! A small was $6.29. It gets worse: after asking for "not a lot of PB cups" he got ZERO. Sadly we did not realize this until we were a few miles out of town. My recommendations: if you are in a hurry go elsewhere and clarify what you are ordering and what you get. I think we'll just try somewhere else. On our way home we stopped here in show low and got us some burgers fries and cheese curds. When we walked in we were greeted by the workers and when I told the cashier it was our first time at Culver's she explained their menu and what is popular with the locals. They were very nice here. The cheese curds were delicious. Fresh and crunchy. I thought the burgers and fries were really good! I'm going to say the burger was better than in and out imo. I love in and out too but this was better. Only thing is Culver's is pricey. I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're ever near a Culver's. Great food friendly service. We were out running around, decided on some ice cream. Went by Culver's in Showlow, Just wanted some ice cream cones. Very simple, no big deal. Ordering was quick and easy. Employees were friendly and efficient. We ordered 3 simple cones, I scoop and no toppings or any thing special. Price was $13.30 total for 3 very small simple 1 scoop cones. This is about the Culver's in Show Low, AZ. First, the food is delicious. Their burgers and fish are great IF you can get what you ordered. That's the issue. Quality control doesn't seem to be a thing for them, unfortunately. I ordered a double deluxe cheeseburger and got nothing on it but catsup. Supposed to have lettuce, mayo, tomato, onion and pickle, according to their web site. Not the first time I had a problem. Also, was there when a woman came in from the drive through with a burger that was nothing but an empty bun. Bottom line, the food can be great, but if you're taking it out, CHECK EVERYTHING to make sure you got everything you ordered and any burgers are made the way you ordered before you leave, either when ordering inside or at the drive through. Hopefully the management will do something to improve quality control, at which point I'd give them 5 stars. read more

I *adore* Culver's so when my partner was craving it this weekend, we decided to make the trip into town and grab lunch. The food was a disappointment - the cheese curds were cold and my cheese on my melt was not melted. I was not impressed. The only semi-decent thing I got was my concrete mixer, caramel and pecan. The service was abysmal; slow and rude. After waiting over 20 minutes for our food, it arrived cold and they forgot part of it, so I had to go to the counter and ask for the rest. Another 5 minutes waiting for the rest of our food. When I ordered my concrete (after eating) I was told they didn't have hot caramel, which was indeed on the menu. Maybe she was new? But not friendly at all and didn't know what they offered because my concrete had hot caramel when I received it. For what we paid, we definitely did not get our money's worth. I understand though that there are a lot of young people running the place, but they are very well spoken and kind. They are very kind and helpful. I can tell they really speak for professionalism and i think it is quite inclusive that they hire so young. Helps kids get to know about workplace. On vacation & needed a break from the big restaurants. Culver's is pretty reliably good as far as far food goes & this one was no different. I moved back up to Pinetop about a year ago and frequent Culver's. What I've noticed in one years time is that the food is great, and the staff is friendly, but not once, in an entire year, have they ever gotten my order correct! My most recent visit I ordered George's Chili Supreme and a received a regular chili. No Cheese, Sour Cream, Onion or crackers. I also ordered a fish dinner, which comes with a roll, and they forgot the butter. Every single time go to the Culver's in Show Low, they screw something up! Very disappointing. read more

Best fast-food place on the mountain. Love their Cole slaw! I always order the kid's meal, and they don't mind even though I'm a senior.

Usually pretty good but today was so expensive and not worth it. Spent $70 for burgers/ice cream for the family. $12 per burger with fries. They messed up the order, so we asked for a new burger. Then they messed it up again. I'm not sure why it was so hard to add 3 condiments to a plain burger. They were cold, also. The lady at the counter was very difficult to communicate with and not very friendly either. I wish we had spent our money on a nicer burger elsewhere. read more

Service was great. I have never been here before so I had no idea what to do when you enter. You come in. Order. The they give you a number and you find a table and they bring the food to you. I asked what does everyone order and they said the fish so I asked how big the pieces were and they showed me with their hand so I thought could eat three but two was more than enough. Getting our orders wrong was the worst part, besides the over flowing trash cans and all the trash on the floor that is. Our orders at this specific location were incorrect or incomplete. my sister didn't get fries in her kids meal and I ended up getting a spicy chicken sandwich instead of a regular chicken sandwich. Great food but you could hang meat to cure in the seating area. For some reason the AC was running full blast. We defeated the system by keeping our winter gear on and enjoying the nice hot food. It was like being at a Green Bay Packers game in January. We decided it was time to leave when the polar bears started coming into the restaurant to cool off. Very very impressed with the way they handled are large group of youth so late. They made me feel very secure of my eyebrows even when my wardies degraded and insulted my non-bleached eyebrows. However the reason they are missing the final golden star from me is two reasons. My wardies who emotionally damaged me did not get their chocolate milk or ice-cream and had to ask again. The Popularity of Culver's is obvious... the drive through was backed up and overflowing. Associates waiting on customers at the counter seem clueless. Backs are turned to the public 60 percent of the time and when they do turn around there is a concerted effort to avoid eye contact with those waiting to be invited to step forward to order! Why? Why can't some employee speak up and help speed up the process. Be friendly, be welcoming be pro active inviting customers with a "Who's Next?" Is a quick simple way to let people know they are not invisible! Maybe when you mutter " Welcome to Culver's" make eye contact and add "steep on up to the counter when you are ready to order". What a relief it would be to those who arrived earlier and aren't sure what's going on. ( are people just waiting for their to go orders? Or asking for a missing item from their order). The time it takes to get your food is acceptable considering the freshness and the quality of the food which arrives via the best asset Culvers has! Friendly associates who smile and make eye contact and seriously KNOW they are delivering yummy food to hungry patient customers! The dining room was packed (on July 5th) with folks vacating the White Mountains from the Fourth of July. I suspect Culvers is often this busy and that it will continue to be. Restrooms were maintained well which is always appreciated. Management needs to remember this fact! Frozen Custard cone was creamy and divine! Fish sandwich and Burgers were flawless! read more

First time eating at any Culver's. Super friendly staff and I interacted with several team members. Very clean restaurant and restrooms. Had a Double Deluxe with bacon on a GF bun. Quality, taste, and presentation was great. Had a small chocolate custard which was amazing. Great experience overall. I'll be back. Their prices are higher then most quick serve burger joints but I don't mind paying a bit more for the better overall experience. On the flip side, the value and taste were much better then my recent burger experiences in Phoenix/Scottsdale at high end restaurants in which I paid double in price for under quality burgers. read more

The frozen custard is delicious. The service is fast but still nice and eagar to please. The menu is a little complicated. The difference between the various burgers is not obvious. Plus, if you add or remove items from your burger, the price The decor is franchise programmed and the bathrooms are spotless as promised by the sign on the door. Price is a little high for the quality of the hot food but the ice cream price is about right. The burger is about what you would expect, seasoned beef that has been fried on a flat top with the normal condiments. The fresh red onion is unusual and nice touch. The fries are good but nothing special. The mashed and gravy is flavorless mashed potatoes with chicken base gravy (even though they dont have chicken dishes just a sandwich), just ok.
