My father was in the trades and working with him when I was younger gave me a good BS detector. That said, I called Anthony, left a message and he got back to me within 15 minutes. Super honest nice guy. I explained my issue and he explained that he can fix central air units but doesn't replace them, which I initially thought was disappointing, but it turns out to be the best way. Think about it. With older units most other companies are going to tell you to replace the entire thing. They don't want to replace some part because there's no big payday in it for them. I liken it to a dentist. They don't try to save your tooth anymore because they can make much more money putting in an implant. After a time misunderstanding on my part, we arranged a time and Anthony showed up ,on time. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the part at very little cost. All guaranteed. I'm just happy if it gets me through the summer. You have to call Anthony first, before anybody else. The guy can do anything. Now if anybody asks me for a recommendation, I can say "I gotta guy"

The owner, Gary, came out later that afternoon and after diagnosing the problem, made me aware that the motor on the condensing unit was shot and needed to be replaced. It was late in the afternoon and Gary said he would make some calls in the morning to see if he could locate a motor. The next day around 10:00am, Gary called and said he had located one and would be out later that day to replace the motor. True to his word, he showed up a few hours later and replaced the motor. Considering that the next day the temp went up to 92, I can't help think how fortunate I was to take my friend's recommendation to call GWB. I called Rostron and was advised a technician would be there between 9 and 10 that morning. But, at 8:10 Evan called and said he would there in 10 minutes. He arrived and proceeded to diagnose the problem with our older system. He spent some time working all aspects of the unit and discovered the problem was in the part of the system removing water from the humidifier. The owner, Hovhannes Mirimanyan ("Hov"), was free that day for a service call ($100, but waived for larger projects). We mutually agreed that it was time to replace the 30 year-old furnace. Hov carefully walked us through the issues with our current furnace and air conditioning systems. He then outlined in a "no pressure" presentation several solutions, providing a cost-benefit analysis of each system (G/E, Rheem, Bosch). He showed us photo portfolios of past similar projects. A few days later, a three-person installation crew arrived at our home at 7 AM to perform the removal of the prior HVAC, and install the new system. The installation was completed by lunchtime, with our home left in pristine condition. The next morning, Hov returned to walk us through the details of the installation and how to perform basic maintenance items on the furnace. The Rheem system works great, is quiet - and connected to a smart Honeywell thermostat. The price paid was fair relative to the quality of services rendered.
