Chris was the guy that helped us I'm assuming is the manager or Asst Manager. Even though the alignment tech was out he still did the oil change and tire rotation in a quick and efficient way. The tech I had was awesome and his name started with a "Sh" I just do not want to guess and say the wrong name. He was kind and thorough. What a bad experience for the 3rd time. Went in at about 505 pm with a flat tire and to be told they have no time to fix today as they was backed up.mind you the girl behind the counter caught an attitude real quick. also there was not a car in the shop or a person in the waiting room..i beleive she said her name was laken. never again this is not the first time she has expressed herself with a attitude when i came in around the same time in preovious visits. will be contacting HR for this..ill take my business elesewhere. read more

All County Wall Systems: Called the Place beforehand to make sure certain tires were in stock for my vehicle. They said yes, and I proceeded to head over there and leave my car. They took my keys and told me to wait for 20 minutes, and it would be done. 2 hours pass, and I was confused since they only said it would take 20 minutes, therefore, I asked how the car was doing and if it's finished yet, and they just told me they never did anything to the car because it was too heavy... what a waste of my time and energy... won't be going back there AT ALL... read more

Had a job interview in Milton NY and saw tore was flat. Discovered a hole in tire so made trip to 3 gas stations for air until I could reach Hyde Park. Being a Sunday wasn't sure they were open, luckily they were. Inspection of tire indicates I need a new tire. Being out of work a fix would have been better but I travel a lot so a new tire was ok. Can't even get the most basic things right I went to Mavis in Hyde Park to get two tires I purchased from them installed onto the rims with old tires on them I brought in. They did the work in a timely manner and I returned to pick up the tires. I arrive home and to my surprise the sticky wheel weights were already falling off of both of the tires. After further inspection I see that they didn't even clean the place on the rim where the weights were to be placed. That is tire installation 101, and they couldn't even properly do the most basic thing. I called the store and asked them why they didn't clean the rim, and the manager replied that they didn't have the cleaner. So that meant that I couldn't even go back there to have the problem resolved. So I called customer solutions and told them what happened and what I was told by the manager. They were very helpful and told me a district manager would reach out to me in about 24 hours. About 2 hours later I get a call from the district manager. His phone etiquette was very lacking and I have heard 9 year old children do a better job at proper phone manners. After I pried his name of Darren out of him, he basically said that no one would say that they didn't have the cleaner, which I replied, listen to the phone recording. I then stated my concern if they even prepped and cleaned the rims properly as stated on the instructions located on the tire sticker since they couldn't even install the weights properly. He said absolutely they did. He then offered to meet me to fix the problem but I was unavailable. At this point they already wasted to much of my time, so this morning I went somewhere else and had to spend an extra $50 to have them mounted and balanced again. FYI, the rims were not properly cleaned where the bead seats. I find it naive of Darren to think that all the people that do business with mavis have never done a job that involves installing tires and that I wouldn't do my own investigation on the matter. I do not care about the money as much as I do the principle of the matter. I did my part and paid for the service, they did not do their part and provide the service properly. Bad business practice for one, and in certain situations, potentially dangerous. So thank you for wasting my money, and more importantly, my time. Sad that this is acceptable behavior from the store and the district manager. If I were being paid for this review as a company quality investigator, the upper management would be mortified if I actually did my 5 point review system. Let this be lesson to all involved, you never know who you are talking to. Step up your game before a paid investigator is the next person you do this to. Sometimes at first they'll try and sell you things you may not need depending who is there, not everyone obviously. Ask for Ed, he's great and always takes care of me and if anything gets screwed up timing wise (which def has happened) he will always reimburse me! Also he won't screw you over trying to oversell you unless you actually need it. read more

Well, I gave it my best to like the big box place. I had a routine oil change, and they are always quick to say "need this or that, low battery, we see a leak, etc". They did say my battery is getting low (I knew that) but that was it. I pay, I leave. I drive and do my thing for the weekend. I look down next day on my garage floor and I see a leak. What the... maybe guy dropped oil out of filter, right? No! Keeps leaking and leaking. Monday I go back and sure enough the threads are destroyed on my oil pan ("oh well tech saw it was sorta leaking..."). Oh BS. They would've said that immediately to me. Furthermore I would've seen that on my garage floor. I tell them that and they state they'll replace my oil pan. It'll take 30 mins. Not long they said. Well, over 3.5 hrs later and I finally get my car back. So a simple oil change changed into a damaged oil pan that I had to bring back, which was to take 30 min per Mavis employee, and ended up over 3.5 hrs. I was told I'd get refund from oil change. Didn't happen. Called Corporate. And now they're not returning my call. (Oh, I called s few times). This place (or certain person) lacks honesty and responsibility. Time to call BBB, and more social media attn, and maybe a politician who works a few hundred feet from Mavis. Save yourself grief, go somewhere else (oh yes, with all my hours of waiting, got to spend quality time with other customers who may not have been as miffed as I am, but still we're not happy with this establishment) read more
