Order tires a week ago (2/27) supposed to get in next day and call me. Never heard from anyone. Went back in and was told I was supposed to come in next day. let it go made my appointment for the next Saturday at 10am. I went in at 9:50am and then was told my appointment was for 12:00? They said they could put my 2 tires on by 11:30. Left my vehicle about 45 minutes later they called me and said they ordered the wrong tires!!! It's been 8 days. Went back to get my work van and deposit back. The manager was extremely rude and ignorant! Never coming here again. Mavis is horrible it's in Millville on Bluebird lane! read more

Very bad customer service I have spend two to three thousand dollars on brakes alignment and tires earlier this year- I recently stopped in for them to check my tire pressures because of a sensor light indicated low pressure. They looked at my tires and said everything was okay and to just keep driving the light would come off by its self. They wouldn't reset my sensors I had to go Meineke and they took care of it right way. - also had a battery replaced that went dead in less than a month. Not going back for lousy service. read more

I would stay away from this place at all costs. I used them for a routine break pad, rotor, and caliper job in November of 2024. It took them 7.5 hours. But my main reason for the one star review is they failed to re-install one of my caliper bolts on my front break. On my way home following the work on my SUV, my front tire was grinding and when I pulled over and inspected the brakes, I noticed that one of the caliper bolts was missing. This simple negligence could have been deadly. I provided the photos to Mavis in the days following and requested a refund for my brake job. They have repeatedly been giving me the run around for weeks. I will be settling this matter in small claims court. Stay away from this shop. They are friendly and hospitable when it comes to securing your business, but their mechanics are obviously unqualified to work on vehicles. read more

Just had tires & alignment performed at Mavis in Vineland. 4 days later I took a look at the date codes on the tires and found both rear tires to be over 4 years old with date codes of 1621 and 1721. I called Mavis and spoke with Zack (I believe that's what he said his name was) According to him, it's not an issue because they didn't remove the wax coating? ... at $1300.00 I would expect the tires to be fairly new. Bad experience. December 2024 I went to Mavis tire in for wheel alignment. The front desk person should be the report and there were some red squares on the report, but he a computer error and mistake by the technician next an appointment with my dealer for service and I was told that you need to alignment and I told them I had a wheel alignment done a tire center. He said nope and I could see clearly on the television screen. There's two red squares were there rear tire were not a line and when the dealer aligned it, all green means they were aligned. It seems like did the job or they did not have a technology to align current medical sophisticated vehicle. I would not recommend anybody to go there. Not only that when I posted the I got a message from the owner saying call this number to solve the problem and I called that number nice lady. I took my phone number and will get in touch with you. Nobody did are bad in service, but bad in PR. I would not recommend anybody to go there not even for a tire puncher. read more

I was going there for my tires only I had to get my axel fixed and they lied about the price for it in all then said it was for everything they said included multiple people say they do this and fix one thing on your car and mess up something else I will not be coming back I don't suggest this I took my car and didn't let them do it to get over on me again read more

I went there to get our company truck serviced. manager told me it would be about an hour, two hours later they just finished it up. Never put a sticker on for the next oil change, did not rotate the tires, did not set the air pressure and one of my center caps is now missing. This is my second time visiting this shop on Landis Avenue Vineland New Jersey, for tire plug repairs, and I must admit they have the lousiest service of all the tire shops in the region; they completed service on my car and did not have the courtesy to inform me that the job was completed. I sat in the waiting area for over 1 hour, then I got up by chance to check, then I saw this guy behind the service desk playing on his phone; I asked,' is my car done? he said yes; then, angrily, asked ,so no one had the courtesy and decency to inform me, if I had not gotten up from the waiting area to check? I would have been sitting there all day ! At this time he was apologizing that it's been a busy day; I replied not good enough; I asked if he is the manager. He said yes, that's why he was brought to the site to fix things. He was going to give a $20 discount on my next visit; I replied: I don't need because I'm not coming back to Mavis tire shop again'. They are lousy, lazy workers, and rude; I will stay away from them. read more

Took my truck in for weird rubbing sound. Believed I needed an alignment. Went in to get my alignment and they tried to sell me new suspension for the front and rear. After the alignment the rubbing still continued. Went to get a second opinion the rubbing noise was from a bad wheel bearing. I was told by the second shop that a proper alignment would be almost impossible with how bad my wheel bearing was. Somehow Mavis never told me and tried to sucker me into replacing the suspension instead. I wouldn't trust this shop with another vehicle. read more

I called before hand and they ensured me they could get me a oil change through my enterprise fleet management vehicle quick and fast. The whole service was almost 4 hours. I come in and the individual at the desk had no idea how to create a fleet management service ticket. His own manager would not even pick up the clerks phone calls for assistance to get me service. I blame the clerk and the manager for the slow service. Its the managers fault for not having their clerks trained and delaying my work schedule due to their incompetence. The clerk was extremely unprofessional and slow. Just talked negative of his manager the entire time instead of actually looking for solutions. Once he was on FaceTime finally getting assistance from another technician they were goofing around, cursing up a storm and adding more delay to my schedule(Felix). When it came to billing my service instead of taking the time to prepare prior to it arriving they delayed my time again due to their lack of care about my time and negligence of wrong data being sent to enterprise. Unfortunately I have to give a single star but wish i could give 0 stars. If you want to spend a long time waiting and deal with untrained and unprofessional individuals then this is your spot! Walk in and see the exact chaos I experienced, they are really the experts of poor services. Zach/Josh be a better leaders to your employees and not having another manager(Alex) from a different store show your guys what to do. read more

Went in to get a noise checked out that I was very concerned about. The manager Zach called me to tell me my tire rods were bad among some other things totaling in $2900. He offered to show me. When I get there his main focus were the tire rods and how it would be a safety issue to drive out of there. Never once told me fixing the tire rods will not fix my noise problem. Never told which part the noise was coming from. If I was told the common sense thing would be to get that fixed first. $897, manipulated, being talked down too, and gaslighted later I left there with the same problem I came in with. If you like to spend $1000.00 on 4 brand new tires only to have them lose air the same night...then this is the place for you! Not only did I get 4 new tires but I also paid for 4 new valves! Before I checked out they said I could take some money off if you do a google review...so I did because at that point I had no issue. As the day went on and I used my car the tire pressure sensor went off so I had to put air in my new tire...in all 4 because they did not tighten them up! Thankfully I had a neighbor who had the tool to tighten them ALL!!! So I could go to work the next day! When I went to work I told my coworkers 2 people had the SAME issue! Come to find out they were not as lucky as me to have a neighbor that helped, they called Mavis and were charged to FIX the problem they caused....So if you decide to give them your business just be mindful! read more

I stopped in there at 4:55pm when they close at 5:00. I had recently bought four Brand New Tires from them last month with four brand new pressure transducer stems. I had a low pressure indication on my dash for the past couple days. I pumped them up and the indicator came back. I stopped in at 4:55 and the guy in the white shirt said they were closed. I told him it's not 5:00 pm yet. He said there's nothing he can do. WOW! So much for Customer Service. Oh I can come back tomorrow at 9:00am when they open again. Wow. All I wanted him to do was to connect to the computer and tell me what tire was reporting the low pressure so I knew which one to look at. NOPE! That's too much to ask for after spend over $1,300.00 for new tires and stems!!!! Yep, I may not do anymore business with Mavis Discount Tires and if that's how they take care of their Customers, I would strongly discourage others from using their services if they expect any kind of Customer Service afterwards. Also, they wanted to upsell me for bad Ball Joints while the tires were off. I went and checked them and they weren't that bad. SO.... BUYERS BE AWARE of these up sells and do not fall for them. I brought all my customers cars there well not anymore first they had my customer return twice for an alignment because they didn't even know how to do it then after there second attempt the tires where both pointing in the outward direction now anyone that actually knows alignments and the damage that can be done especially if not performed correctly will cause damage to the front hub bearing in which it did but there supposedly assistant and store manager had the nerve to tell my customer I had no idea on what I am talking about and if I changed the inner toe rod end they where not going to be able to straighten it with the alignment really isnt that what an alignment does people well never again will I refer any of my customers to any mavis location in vineland because its obvious they only know how to sell tires and that's all read more

I often get very anxious when getting any kind of car repair done. As a young woman, it's very easy to get taken advantage of when dealing with these situations. I had a wonderful experience here. I brought my car to the Mavis right before Christmas to have my tires replaced. I decided to just do two at a time so it was easier for me to budget. The first time they damaged my door. I didn't mind too much since I already had other damage to my front end and they gave me a discount on the bill. During the second visit they told me the shocks should probably be replaced as well and since the tires were going to be off the car already now would be a good time to do it. I agreed. When I got my car back I had a rattling sound from underneath the car. I brought it back and they were unable to determine what the problem was with any certainty. I was upset because the car didn't make the noise prior to my second visit. I took the car elsewhere and the issue ended up being a loose bolt from when the shocks were replaced. I brought the bill back to Mavis for the labor and asked them to cover it, or at least a portion at their hourly labor rate. I felt that I wouldn't have had to pay anything if they would have just tightened the bolt when they replaced the shocks. I was told that the regional manager would be contacted to see what they could do and I would hear from them that day. I gave them a week and decided to write this review. I never do things like this but I wanted people to be aware that basic things may be overlooked when you take your car or truck there. The people that work there were very nice and I felt comfortable working with them until this happened. I will not be taking my car back to any of Mavis shops ever again. read more
