I have always had great service when visiting this STS. In fact, I have gone to other STS shops thinking that they would provide the same level of customer service/help - and they did not compare! Ed and his employees are extremely friendly and honest. I would rather take my car here, where I feel like they aren't going to try and sell me on this thing or that thing, than to a dealership where they go out of there way to find something to charge you for. I saw comments about wait time here, but I would rather wait a few hours for my car to be finished and the job be done right - than have my car in and and out in a flash. And this is coming from a girl who most of the time, sits and waits for her car. Sometimes you can't rush perfection! I was desparate to replace a flat tire on Saturday morning. Mavis in Trevose was my 4th service garage. The staff were amazing. Rich was incredibly kind. Somehow on a busy Saturday, they listened to my story and my need (to get to my grandkids) and got me back on the road as soon as possible. I drive a Suburu, so the front tire had to be a close match to the other one for safe front-wheel drive. My third stop had been the Subara garage in Feasterville and the service manager there was so rigid, cold, unhelpful, I couldn't believe it. Thank God for Mavis and for Rich and the other staff who have terrific customer service. read more

Very friendly when I first walked through the door. They told me wait time was 40 minutes, still here 3 hours later. How can you be that far off with the wait time. I don't understand the lack of awareness of your mechanics ability to get work completed in a timely matter. Everyone else here as well are in the same boat. Just don't understand. read more

This Place is awesome. Even hough I had to wait a while( Sorry for coming in so early guys) the service was amazing. While I was sitting in the waiting room for a couple of hours while the place was slammed the guys made every effort to make my wait enjoyable. Won't try and nickel and dime you for extra services. Wish I would have brought my Optima in for an oil and brakes instead of taking it to the dealer for the oil change. 80$ Brake special with premium brakes. Terrible experience and not even about the price. Took car in for lug and corresponding lug nut replacement and new tires. Got the car back, lug and lug nut replacement and new tires were fine, but one of the other original lug nuts is now actually split, as if the tech just blasted the lug nut with the air wrench and split it ‍. So now we take the car back to have that fixed (granted, on them), they "sweeten" the deal by replacing all the lug nuts, cool, done. But tell me why all the lugs/lug nuts on the wheel that had the replacements are now noticeably further out than the other 3 tires? Did the tech strip and/or break the lug when he split the other nut, so therefore decided they would replace all the lugs so it looks uniform on that one wheel? Mind you this is all after originally taking 3 days to get the FIRST lug and lug nut from the dealer. I get it, I'm sure they have contracts and red tape with dealerships, but I could've gone to advance auto down the street and bought the parts for them. Regardless, that's all done, case closed.... Now car has a death wobble because they didn't balance the wheels after putting on the new tires. To be fair, they didnt say they would, but at least offer it then right ‍. Oh and cherry on top? The tire specialists we just took the car to for the balancing, pointed out Mavis didn't even replace the valve stems when they replaced the tires. But hey, don't worry, they gave us credit for a free oil change as if I could ever trust them to work on any of my vehicles again. Thanks but no thanks Mavis. Beware. read more

I had a problem with my tires this morning and I went to the STS in Bensalem and Brian was just amazing.

zero stars, sts mavis tires in trevose pa SUCKS; long wait ; too much bullcrap office politics( more managers than blue shirts), installed winter tires backwards; they scratched side of car backing out; erroneously said rear brakes need replacing; they pass SAME work orders among managers ,so that each manager receives credit, even though its the same order, thus long wait; ( managers in city govt do same thing, been there , seen it); manager gave me attutude when told snow tire installed backward; .....avoid, this place SUCKS; watch their bullcrap antics , as managers walk around pretending to do stuff that was already done, or redo bits &pieces of work order that someone had done; read more

Literally the BEST customer service you can get anywhere. I needed my social security number to apply for a credit card here and they drove me back home to get my social security card. They go above and beyond for their customers. The nicest people ever and very good at what they do. Would HIGHLY recommend it. read more

"What a joke. Waited all day for them to call me back to get the simple tire fixed." They have their priorities mixed, just because it was a tire repair, employee considered it as a secondary job and disregarded its prompt repair request. I give the guys here specially Andrew 5 stars cause they are fast ,friendly and very courteous. I always get the best price and the work is always done promptly. I have stopped going to my Dealorship and only bring my car here for any lights that may come on. They know how to treat their customers right and how to bring them back . I went for an oil change and they tried to tell me I needed new breaks and 4 new tires. Turned out when my husband took my car elsewhere, that I did not need new break and only 2 new tires were needed. Will NEVER go back. read more

Since Ed left this place has fallen apart. I've dealt with Jose on 2 occasions now and he is extremely condescending and tries to make you get services that you don't even need. They didn't even fix my car correctly and he is trying to say that they didn't do anything wrong, 3 times I had my car in there for the same problem paid almost $1,000 and they didn't do anything wrong but yet my car still isn't fixed. Ed is now at United Tire on Street Road and I highly recommend his clientele to take their vehicles there since you know Ed is a man of his word and will get the job done right. read more

Great people to deal with - no hidden additional charges. Upfront and honest.

I was looking for a particular brand of tire and the place I used to go for tires doesn't price match anymore so I called Ed (the store manager) at STS . I asked him if he had the tires I was looking for and if they price match. He said yes they price match so I told him the price I could have the tires delivered to my door thru an internet purchase. He told me no problem matching the price but he would have to hunt down the tires since they didn't stock them and would call me back. He had to call several places but he found them for me and got right back to me shortly to tell me the good news. HOW'S THAT FOR SERVICE. While installing my tires I asked if he could price match another tire for the wife's car that they had in stock. He once again he said sure....bring it right over when I picked up my Jeep. NOTE: This was at the end of the day when they were busy !! I couldn't believe it !! I witnessed first hand that Ed, Terrell and the other employees there truly care about people and try their best to please everyone. It doesn't stop there !! After about a month I noticed a very slow leak from one of the tires, so I called Terrell and asked when I could bring the Jeep over. He said bring it right over. As I was waiting they took it right in and in a short time Ed told me it was a slight leak around my old rim and that there would be no charge. Then they took off every tire, polished every rim at the tire sealing point , remounted and rebalanced every tire..... AND AT NO CHARGE !! Ed said sorry that shouldn't have happened. That's just crazy....they were working there butts off to fit my Jeep and the wife's car in on a very busy day and it was only a tiny leak. That's pretty dang good if you ask me!! Then they polish every rim and re-mount and re-balance every tire just to make sure it doesn't happen again !!! Where else can you get that kind of service these days ?? Thank you all at STS in Trevose for showing me that GREAT SERVICE is still a reality !! ADDED : ONE GUY LEFT (3) ONE STAR REVIEWS BECAUSE HE DIDN'T LIKE THE IDEA OF PAYING A COUPLE OF BUCKS MORE FOR A PATCH FROM THE INSIDE . A PLUG IS OK BUT A PATCH IS BETTER.
