SO GLAD I got them installed just before the mid/late January crazy weather and the shop did a great job. I also knew I needed new front brakes and an oil change which I had already scheduled elsewhere but they got everything done before close of business and saved me much hassle. Do not waste your time here Or let them touch your car. I took off work 2 times to come here and get a alignment, the first time they told me they couldn't do it because I did not have aftermarket camber bolts that ford does not require on my lower control arms. took my whole front end apart got new Dorman camber bolts in the lower control arms, took of work and took it back for alignment and tire rotation. they said hour hour and a half I told them I was going to walk to Menards call me if there's any problems. After about a hour I did not hear anything so I want back to sit in waiting area, when I walked in I was told they couldent not do it that they couldent put it on the lift because of a rust issue. these F**king idiots put the lift in the wrong spot and clearly didn't have it centered and crusted part of the frame. I'm sure they just kicked it under and called It good. I wouldnt Send my worst enemy here. I wouldn't want them turning there car into a death machine on my conscience. read more

Service is hit or miss. Smetimes it takes over an hour for an oil change and other times it less than a half hour, both with an appointment. They also tend to be more expensive and have excuses rather than solutions. My lat time I went in for a morning appointment I was told the person who was scheduled to "set up" at 07:30a was a now show and a technician hadn't yet arrived but there were two people at the counter (presumably service manager and assistant manager). No contact made with the individuals who had scheduled service, appeared to be no attempt to get coverage and apparently neither employee was a certified technician. It was 08:10a and me and the other customer walked out. It is a little uncomfortable walking into the lobby as building maintenance is horrible, leaking roof and windows that create ponds of standing water, etc. read more

Made in appointment to have new tires mounted and balanced for 5PM on a Thursday. Dropped off the vehicle at 5PM and told them I was going to walk to the store while waiting. After no calls I returned to the shop at 7PM and my vehicle hadn't been touched. They told me I was still "third in line". read more

We bought four tires from Mavis Tire in Antioch in September 2022. They were expensive Continental Tires. Unfortunately, one tire picked up a nail in October 2023 and it could not be repaired. We made an appointment with Mavis Antioch to replace the tire. Mavis Tire offers/includes a Limited Warranty and Limited Road Hazzard Warranty on their web site and on the back of all their invoices. According to their Limited Road Hazard Warranty our tire should have been covered 100% based on the tread depth left on the damaged tire. However, Mavis Tire told us our tires were not covered by the warranties. How convenient for them one year later! We were never told that when we purchased the Tires. Nor, was written anywhere on their invoice either. We ended up buying the same tire for $50.00 less from Tire Rack on line and they offer a better Limited Warranty and Limited Road Hazzard Warranty and the replacement tire we bought is absolutely covered. I hate to write a bad review but honestly I just want to save everybodies time and money. I had a SCHEDULED appointment for 1 tire check. (I previously bought 4 tires there a year and half ago). The tire I bought was not under warranty still (as expected), the tire could not be patched either (understandable) but for ONE tire to be changed I was there for just under 2 and a half hours with a scheduled appointment. This was me giving them their second chance now last chance because two months ago I was there for a break check (they offer checks for free) I wanted an estimate and official diagnosis so I could come back when I got paid. As a single mom I cannot afford unexpected expenses with out planning, 3 hours later they come out and tell me the breaks are changed. No one talked to me about pricing or what they were doing - mind you i was in the waiting room the whole time. ​I'm not someone who ever wants to write a bad review about a business in my town - but i want to make sure anyone around does not waste their time or money here. read more

Had traveled over 50 miles to look at a car for sale from a nearby 'dealer'. Along my journey there I spotted this Mavis a few miles up the road before I got there. Long story short, once I finally got to drive the car I drove it straight there for an inspection; and the $62 I spent saved me countless headaches and maybe $1000's in repairs. I wish I could recall the the names of the two gentlemen I dealt with, but both were great to deal with. I received a call the next day asking if I'd like to get my car in sooner, which I couldn't do because of my schedule, but it was super nice to have that option available. Awful experience, cancelled my appointment but didn't care to call since they were busy.

This was my 3rd consecutive oil change at this facility; never any issues previously. I paid $43 and $52 the last two visits, and yesterday, when I made the appointment, the guy at the desk told me it would be in the $40-50 range. After today's oil change, they charged me $102. When asked why, I was told all GM vehicles since 2011 require synthetic blend oils. That was news to me, as I've never had synthetic blends used in this truck since I got it in 2016. When I asked him why I previously got standard oil during my previous changes there (July 2021 and May 2022), he had no answer. Sounds like an attempt to take advantage of the customer. I cannot recommend any place lower than this. I had a bad flat on a rainy night. I pulled into this place on rims. I called the next morning, plus contacted them on line. They didn't have the tire, but they ordered one. Good. I called six hours later to confirm. "Who are you? What did you want?" "You know, the tire we ordered this morning." "We have no record of that." So we ordered the tire again, and said we would be there in the morning. In the morning, we called again. No , the order hasn't been "confirmed ". Okay, we will be there the next morning. I showed up the next morning (now three days after the event). Do you have my tire? No, we have to order it. What happened to the tire we already ordered? No record of that. I left. Never, ever go there. They apparently are not able to read or write, based on my interaction with them. I would not trust them to competently put on tires. I certainly wouldn't trust them to give you a good price. Stay away. Far away. read more

Was having trouble with my work van tire was going flat, found out that the tire had a sidewall puncture do the fact it was late that day did not get through to my fleet management company, so they graciously changed my bad tire out with my spare tire and then installing the spare tire back underneath the vehicle and let me go on my way at no charge, later went back Ordered a tire and had it installed!! the manager/workers there are awesome and takes good care of you read more

I'm from Chicago and had a flat fixed at the Antioch wal mart for $80, only to come to find out the next day my tire was flat again. It ended up being because of my rusty rim and a bad tire valve seal. EMILIO at Mavis, grinded down the rust on the rim and sealed it back up...free of charge, to my big surprise and it really helped me and my daughter. Quote you one price then charge you more after they are done with the car. Customer service was a joke and said that prices "start at" the quoted price. This is not what I was told and I called multiple Mavis locations. Started a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they actually refused to respond to them. What a joke. So dishonest and unprofessional. Instead of giving me back the money the over charged me they said they could put it in their system as a credit. As if I would ever return to this place. Please! If you can give me a "credit", why cant you just give me my money back? read more

Went in to get a tire plugged and boom. Done in 15 minutes. But then tire leaked again 3 weeks later, so I brought it back and asked them to check it. They did and found no leak. So they pulled the tire off the rim and noticed valve stem was cracked. They informed me and asked if I wanted it switched. Well duh lol. So they did switch it and at free of charge just because they already worked on it a few weeks prior. Thanks guys I will defiantly be back. read more
