I was having some issues with my 2001 Park Ave and wasn't sure if I needed an alternator or a battery. I was told by a friend that Autozone had a free service for checking your charging system, so I drove over to see what I could find out what was wrong and that is where my great experience began! I was greeted by Ben with a smile and he was quick to tell me that he could help me and that it wouldn't take long. Ben grabbed the testing computer and in maybe 20 minutes while he showed me how it works he was able to determine it was the Battery and not the Alternator. When I explained that I had an extra battery from a vehicle that had been totaled Ben never changed his demeanor and said no problem I like helping people. It was very obvious that he did in fact care about the customer! After showing me some different options for batteries if my other one didn't work, with out being pushy, I ended up buying a side post tool to change mine out. Great people can make a great experience and Ben did just that!

That's great, so after being yelled at for about 20 mins about the bill and the extra cost with no phone call, I decide to just pay it and get out.So I pay and leave. On my ride home, I realize that my vehicle is exactly the same as it was before the 1025.00 and has NOT changed at all. I called and came to get the owner and we went for a ride. After the ride we go back to his office and he shows me pictures of the rear differential fluid and debris on the plug.. No kidding. So he charged me over 1000 dollars for a repair he quoted me 650 for and still did NOT fix my vehicle.. This could have been handled much, much differently. Did my vehicle need u joints? maybe. But was the problem that is was brought in for fixed for my 1000.00? Hell no. Lets see what Illinois has to say about this.. Every motor vehicle repair facility shall either (i) give to each consumer a written estimated price for labor and parts for a specific repair and shall not charge for work done or parts supplied in an amount that exceeds the estimate by more than 10% without oral or written consent of the consumer or (ii) give to each consumer a written price limit for each specific repair and shall not exceed that limit without oral or written consent of the consumer. I think my attorney needs to see my receipt.

I decided to finally trade in a 2021 F-150 and go into a bigger truck for my families activities and needs. I have known Russell now for several years and he has alway stayed in touch with me. He is always in a good mood and when he sees me, has always made sure to say hi during my service visits for the two ford vehicle's I own. Well we started discussing the possibility of going on to a bigger truck during one of my service visits for the f-150. This conversation parallels another one that I was having the same day with Greg and Kat in service about why I was thinking about going into the super duty line. Between the three of them, they gave me the confidence and information I needed to make an educated choice to start pursuing a F-250. So over the next several weeks Russel contacted me about various options that would come in inventory to see if these met my needs. Well finally a 2020 white super duty came on the lot and I had a feeling this was the one. Again I was on another regular maintenance Sevice visit with my son and Russ got the vehicle pulled up for me to accommodate a test ride for my son and I. Well taking a 6 year old ona test drive ended up asking 1000 questions which made it a bit challenging to ask the questions I wanted. Because my sons questions hands down come first. Russ respected that and just enjoyed the ride. The great thing was I was able to contact Russ personally the following day and several weeks after that about this truck to answer my questions. So that brings me to July 20, 2023. I decided to come test drive the vehicle again as I have made my decision of what I wanted to buy. I was currently looking at three different 2020 trucks at 3 dealers. The thing is the customer service I have gotten Russell, Greg and Kat at Kunes in Antioch over the years really drove me to want to do business with this team. So following my test drive with this vehicle, I was able to have another conversation with Gregg, Kat Russ and Bailey in the service department about this vehicle. This was the first time meeting Bailey and it was a pleasure. He is very knowledgeable on the diesel truck engines. All of them were able to answer all my questions and also gave me great additional information about the truck and warranties available. So from here it was pretty much set in stone that I wanted to buy this truck. From here I sat down with Russ and discussed the offer. We finally agreed on the deal with help of his team that included extended warranties and Cerma coat products available. Which brings me to Scott. Russ brought Scott over to introduce him to me and go to the finance office to finish up the deal. Scott it's another top notch individual and is a perfect fit. He made the finance part of finishing the deal very easy and quick. He was well prepared and thorough. Kat, Greg, Bailey, Scott and Russ really made me feel great about doing business with them and the Kunes Auto Group!

A clip was broken during the bulb replacement, but they owned up to it & offered to replace it. Unfortunately we had to go the dealer to order the part & return for the replacement, but at no cost. We were grateful & since then we've had no issues. We loved our tire and returned to have the other 2 tires replaced without incident. It was an enjoyable experience.

They said the transmission was good but came up with $560 worth of things to fix it. Had the work done took it home and next time i mowed it felt the same. 4 days later it would not move at all. Took it back in and they now say it needs a transmission so now I'm looking at another $960 to replace it. They did not offer any discount on the transmission or labor for miss-diagnossing it the first time. I could have bought a new one with a 3 year warranty on it for $500 more.

I would not recommend Antioch Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram based on my experience…read more I brought my 2023 Chrysler Pacifica in for a warranty repair due to engine problems. The dealership performed major work under the powertrain warranty, including cylinder head and gasket repairs. When I picked up the vehicle on September 12, it was not in proper working condition. The cooling system had no flow because it was clogged -- something clearly documented in their own service report. They stated the heater cores were clogged and quoted me $2,021 for repairs, claiming it was not covered. This makes no sense because the issue was a direct result of the engine failure, where coolant and oil contamination affected the system. Instead of fully repairing the vehicle under warranty, they returned it in a non-working condition and tried to charge me for the remaining damage. Additionally, the 12V battery stopped working after the repair, even though it had no issues before. I tried to resolve this directly with them and also through the Better Business Bureau, but the issue is still unresolved. Very frustrating experience. Be careful if you are relying on warranty repairs here
