The people here are wonderful! I had some issues with my car & had to leave it there after hours (they have a drop box with envelopes so you can explain what's going on) They were so patient with me explaining what was going on with my car. Said they should be able to get my parts pretty quickly & would give me a call once they found the issue. They called me back that same day explained what was wrong & gave me a quote. They had it ready for me the very next day. I can't say enough good things about this place. My battery died from the issues I had & they made sure to hook me up with another one right away. This place is a gem! It's a rarity to find an auto shop that's honest anymore & who genuinely cares about their customers. I've used this local shop in the past and they have been fair. This last time I brought some rims in to have tires swapped and they scratched up some expensive rims. Tim was very understanding. Ya if you ask them to do something they do 1 thing but tell u that everything u ask was done. But ya even if u bring your own parts to provid for them they still keep your car for 2 1/2 months saying they are working on it. But ya they don't! But they tell u they did. This business is right up the block from my work, an hour away from my home. Once again, Salem Auto came to my rescue when I needed vehicle help while at work! I left work on a Friday late afternoon only to discover that I had a completely flat tire. They had someone personally drive over with an air compressor to fill it so I could drive it safely back to the shop, then proceeded to fix the flat in record time at a very reasonable price! These jokers said they could weld flex joints on my Audi for $89. (per side I presume) One day, No problem!! Get the parts from Napa! Dropped it off on Monday, Never called to say it was done or not. Girl friend gets through via the phone on Monday night, Joker say's " never got to it, Need another day. Thanks for understanding." on Wed still no call, I call them, got put on hold for 10 MInutes. Finally got through, said he'd call back and let me know what's up. Never called back, girl friend finally gets a update. They say it will cost Four Thousand dollars...No Joke....... It took the shop a week and a half to fix my ignition switch, and during that time they didn't call me a single time. They didn't even call me to tell me the repairs had been completed. I was charged for work they did on my auto that was not necessary and while I was given a 10% discount for having to wait so long, the front desk worker had a very dismissive and uncaring attitude. read more

These people seem very friendly at first but watch out. I have takin my car there more then once. Everytime it comes back with more problems. They told me they fixed things that they never did. And when I confronted them the Owner was shockingly rude he smiled and told me to get out and try to prove it. Another time before this one I watched him swear and threaten a younger man.
