Showed up to my appointment to learn it was cancelled (because they hadn't ordered my tires). Did a rush order and I came back several hours later. Took forever to install and then I learn they'd ordered and installed the wrong size (not what I'd ordered). I kept them anyway just wanting to be done with it. Noticed on the bill that I was charged significantly more per tire than what was shown on the website. They tried to BS me with some ridiculous excuses and when I wasn't convinced they just said "nothing we can do to change it". Service service service. I wont ever go to another tire shop. Every time I go there i always receive the best customer service. The manager explains things clearly. My last visit i had a screw in my truck tire and because i waited a little over an hour he didnt charge me. They were slammed busy due to an employee not showing up that day. Ordered some tires off Amazon and was excited to get a good deal on them. However, tires are always something that brings people to a mechanic. Can't do this job at home. So I needed to find a place to get them mounted and balanced, and when I was placing my order, Amazon offered a local installation service. I though it was convenient and the price was competitive to my other hook ups. Most importantly, the shop is close to home, so I went for it. The Amazon appointment time was 2-5 PM, so I arrived at 2 PM sharp. After cycling thru the repetitive Bay News 9 programing twice, I decided to inquire about what was taking so long. The manager, Randy, gave me some sob story about how he is down to one mechanic, and then started to tell me it takes 20 minutes per tire because they're so big. Hogwash, I say! I've had similar tires mounted and balanced recently in 45 minutes. Then he tried telling me that the 2-5 PM window is not for my appointment, but their time frame to finish the job. 3 hours to put on 4 tires? GTFO here with that bullshit. After I spoke to the manager, he said, "This is why we are dropping the Amazon service. It's been nothing but trouble." He then pointed out the fact that I had two broken lug studs, which I knew about. I told him I have some new studs in the Jeep they can use. After 2 hours and 15 minutes, they were done. The mechanic came out and told me that the new rim I provided to use as my spare was warped and could not be properly balanced, so naturally, I asked what they did with the rim. His response? "We mounted your spare to it." Well genius, how in the HELL am I going to return it to Summit Racing if you've mounted a 33 inch tire to it and filled it with air? Are these guys serious? I was so frustrated that I didn't realize until later that they did not replace the broken lug studs. They actually mounted and balanced a brand new tire and left the studs as is (see pic)! What respectable tire shop would do this??????????????????????????????? I've had my fair share of bad service in this world, but this one ranks up there with the worst of them. I don't know why businesses act like they're doing consumers a favor. We select the business where we spend our hard-earned money, so being treated like a mooch instead of a source of revenue really chaps my ass. After leaving a message on their corporate website, the regional manager, Charles, got back to me. I found him to be very professional and he seemed to sincerely feel bad for me. He referred me to the Dunedin store to at least get my lug studs installed. However, the manager at that store said it would take an hour. The process takes about 10 minutes MAX, so I refused the offer and just did it myself. I do not recommend using this service via Amazon, but if you do, please select another tire shop. read more

They are simply the best. I visit family and there is always construction and i need one or sometimes multiple tires from all the roadhazards. They can get the tires most time same day, if not next AM and the work gets done. They always re-torque the wheels each time you bring it back to make sure things don't loosen. This is the only place i go or send my family members to. read more

I went here because I needed an oil change and a tire rotation. I had a coupon and thought I would try it out. So I leave my car with them for over 2 hours then I call them to check up on it. They say, "Oh yeah your battery has a low charge would you like us to replace it for $120.00." I said, "no." Then I go to pick up the car at about 4:30. They did not rotate the tires. But I didn't have time to let them fool around with the car any longer. The next day I notice my car seat and my driver side window acting up. When I go back to tell them about the problems the man behind the desk refuses to acknowledge the problem and denies any responsibility. He then says any problems are just coincidental. They are no good. Do yourself a favor and don't go here for anything even a simple oil change and tire rotation. read more

I've been wondering what would motivate me to write my 100th review and then it hit me today. Well, more like it lured me in on false pretenses then wasted 90 minutes of my time before insulting me. If I knew a BFG, I would ask that he eat nothing but asparagus and relieve himself on this place daily. So after running over a screw I decided to call around and get prices for tire repair. This place told me that there would be no charge for the repair as long as it was repairable. Thinking that it is a way they build trust with their customers and promote a long relationship, I took the bait. 90 minutes later I found the switch. This clown comes into the waiting room and asked me if I want the bad news or the bad news, then proceeds to give me a long list of things that my car needs. He finishes by telling me that they cannot repair the tire because it is too worn. These are the exact type of grease monkey's that you do not want to send your mother to (unless you hate her). You can judge the wear on a tire within two seconds of looking at it...yet you want to make me wait 90 minutes because you think you found another sucker?? Choke on a bag of dongs! read more

I've gone there once to get tires and the service was fine but when I go back to have my tires and rims fixed because of a blowout the service was absolutely terrible. they start by telling me that they have to only order rims from the dealership that will be $300 apiece and then resulting in telling me that I would need a new strut and that altogether the price would be $1690. So not sure what else to do I say go for it and they say OK we should get the parts today and it would be done today. So five hours later I call them back and they say no we can't have it done till Tuesday (this is Saturday, brought it there Friday). So me and my dad go to the scrap yard find 2 rims for $50 total and bring them up there and they refuse to do the service same day. Fine. It was late in the day. They say they'll have it done first thing in the morning. It comes around 1130 (Sunday) and I haven't heard anything yet so I give them a call and they tell me they're working on it it'll be done soon. So 1 o'clock I give them another call and they say it's about to be done so we go up there while it's raining and the only garage that is open is where my car is in and my cars windows are down resulting in my car now smelling like shit for being wet, don't get why windows needed to be down for a tire job... Also something they did caused my battery to die numerous times while there even though it wasn't even six months old. The customer service was mediocre for it was some kid who thought it was more important to joke around with his friends while helping a customer. Ended up just having them do enough to be able to drive it off the lot and take it elsewhere . Also after telling the guy about five times that I got my tires when the place was under Kaufman and that they had a warranty he never looked it up and try to charge me for the tires until he finally searched under the Kaufman files and found it and did see that they were under warranty. Obviously if you are a female you can't go there without them trying to take advantage of you. Thank God my dad was able to assist me and took it from paying $1690 to $95. Make sure they actually tell you everything that you'll have to pay for because they didn't mention anything about needing to struts or an alignment or anything besides how much the rims would cost. Also, an extension to my auxiliary cable is missing that was connected when I dropped it off. read more
