It was all bad, but the part that was the worst. They told me they couldn't rotate my tires because the tread was too low and it was a safety hazard and that I needed to buy 4 new tires from them right now. I said no and they scoffed at me. I got a second opinion at tire kingdom and they said my tires are in good standing and won't need to be replaced for a few more years and rotated me tires for me. On top of that their website said walk ins only. No appointments. I walked in and they told me it was appointment only. No one answers their phone either. I came back for the appointment only for them to deny me service after waiting 45 minuets for them to look at the tires. It's a waste of time and money cause they'll try to scam you into every unneeded service. Customer service was bad as well. read more

I came to this location to have my front tires replaced with new ones. Everything went well, I checked in, was provided with a ticket number and was told it will be a while so I decided to walk around Walmart. After 1 hr I receive a text message that the service started on my car. After another 1 1/2 I receive a second text message notifying me that my car was ready for pick up. I head over to the counter just to be told that my car was picked up by another gentleman who already left. Now I'm panicking (as I should) asking where is my car and if they can double check the information. They do - it's not my car, but I am assured my car is in service. I walk out to get a breath of fresh air and I see my beautiful reliable car sitting lonely in the parking lot with same tires on. I walk inside and ask the lady to please double check the information provided. She is looking in the computer to then let me know that one of the mechanics declined the service and my car, so at this point my car is not even on the list of cars to be serviced today. So, we start the process all over again- what model car, what color, what service do you need... and " it will be a long wait" again. No one apologized, no one recognized that there was a mistake, no one took ownership of the mishap. I didn't say anything and went to the waiting room. There is no point in being upset. I know I'll never come back here again. If I were you reading this along side the other negative comments left on Yelp please do the same. read more

Had an appointment scheduled a week in advance to have 4 tires installed to my car. 2 hours before my appointment, i receive a notice that my service appointment has been cancelled with zero explanation. I call the store and auto center at least 6 times and no one answered the phone to tell me why my appointment was cancelled. I show up to the store to see if the tires I ordered online had at least arrived to the store. Once arriving to the store, I see zero cars outside of the auto center and no employee in sight. Eventually i see an employee that can help me and 30 minutes later i finally walk away with my tires ordered online. Overall, I will never order from walmart.com again or even bother going to the auto care center. 5 mechanics/employees doing nothing and not one person could answer the phone... read more

2 stars for a pretty substandard auto department. I recently ordered new tires for my wife's SUV from Walmart.com because they had great prices. I had the tires delivered to the Turkey Lake Walmart down by Dr. Phillips since that seemed like a relatively nice area. I arrived at the Tire and Lube Center, which is located in the back of a massive Walmart, and a guy out at a stand directed me inside to get a ticket for my tires and then he would ring me up. He seemed rather annoyed to have to help me. I get that it's Walmart, but you'd think there would be a little customer service in a customer-dependant spot like this. After going inside and waiting 10 minutes for an employee to show up (who had no idea what I was talking about in regard to an online tire order), I finally got my tires. While not super thrilled at that point, I figured I'd have this place install them since it seemed like it would be cheap and quick. Boy, was I wrong. I say in their standard waiting area with 2 other people around 8:45am. One was also getting tires mounted and one was getting an oil change. I only saw 4 cars outside, so that made sense. We chatted for a bit and then I went to wander around the store. I come back and we wait. And wait. An hour goes by. Finally the oil change lady gets her car. 45 more minutes go by. The other tire mounting person gets her car. Another 45 minutes go by and I finally ask what the deal is. I'm told "it'll be another 15 minutes." 30 more minutes until they finally finish. I get wait times, but almost 3 hours! Good thing my morning was clear or I would have been in trouble for something that takes most other places less than 30 minutes. Around 11:05, I finally get called over to be rung up (after the cashier was again confused about my tires and how they were ordered...no, you won't charge me a second time). Only a brief mention about the long wait. Seems almost standard to them. I get my car, check that everything was done right, the mechanic helps me out on my new windshield wipers (that was nice at least) and I take off. Overall, my experience at the Turkey Lake Walmart Tire and Lube was pretty bad. While the atmosphere felt standard, the prices were cheap, and the associates weren't outright rude (all of this preventing a 1 star rating), the slow and confused service makes this a place that I will never ever go to again. read more

So I have always liked getting my oil changed at Walmart because you can shop while they work on your car. However, this experience sucked! I pull up to the oil change lane and find that no one comes to greet me as they usually do to get your car specs. I think, okay, maybe I'll get out and stand by the car. So I stand by the car and wait to be checked in. And wait, and wait, and wait! Mean while, 5 employees come by apologizing for the wait and saying the one guy checking people in will be with me momentarily. Well 30 minutes later, he shows up at my car! I say I just want an oil change and a tire rotation. He glances at my tires and says they have uneven tread wear and need to be replaced. I tell him absolutely not, they are a year old! He then laughs and asks if he can buy my car for $1000. What?! No! So reluctantly I give him the keys and go to shop. When I return, I have a few items that I picked up around the store. Well, of course no one is around the entire department. So I wait again.... Then the same guy walks out to check me out. I give him a coupon that was for $1.00 off if you bought Sara Lee bread and any milk. Of course it doesn't ring up, so I show him the items. He says that I had to buy Sara Lee Milk. I tell him there is no such thing as Sara Lee milk and to look at the generic picture of milk on the coupon! I also let him know that it was an in-store coupon, so it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. He tells me I have to drive over to customer service to get the $1.00 off! Oy vey. While cheap and convenient, as with most things with Walmart, customer service is lacking. read more

I came here just to get my tire exchanged for a new one. All they had to do was balance and rotate the tire to make sure that one tire was good to put on my vehicle. That particular job should've taken only 5 minutes and it has been over an hour. I witnessed Tyrone (the manager) was rude at one particular customer. She had an appointment at 6pm and he said "just because you have an appointment does not guarantee an oil change" while completely dismissing her. read more

I used to like coming to this Walmart for my standard oil changes because it's convenient. However, the last two times I've encountered the same unhelpful employee when checking in. The woman at the front has a very condescending tone of voice when asked simple questions... When inquiring about the wait time for an oil change, she quoted me a ridiculously high time that dropped about half when I asked her again later in the conversation. The wait time was (originally quoted as 5) over 2 and a half hours. Which is fine - I'll come back another day... but no, she said they don't take reservations and that I need to come at 7:00 in the morning if I even want to get it done. She rushed through me just to get me to go and when I thanked her anyway to leave, I got the snarkiest "my pleasure" I've ever heard. Just unnecessary. This is the SECOND time I've had this kind of interaction with her in the last year. Sure the prices are cheap. But unless you want to deal with this employee at seven in the morning to get a simple oil change, avoid! read more

I dropped my car off and asked for the $26 oil change and the lady told me about it checked me in and said it would be about 30 minutes. I went inside and shopped arriving back 34 minutes later. After a few minutes someone came out and asked which car was mine so I told him and he said he would go check on it he didn't return. About 10 minutes later The lady that checked me in helped other customers one said oh no she was next and she told them I was just waiting on my car, which I confirmed. She walked away and someone new came out eventually and I told him someone said they went to go check on it but that was over 20 minutes ago so he went to check and didn't even make it back because my keys and paperwork were sitting right there and I couldn't help saying seriously I've been here for 25 minutes (no exaggeration) and he said I won't even tell you how long it's been sitting here and then said I will do you a favor though and rang me up it was $28 and change and I didn't get a favor. Loaded my groceries into the car and wrote this review. If the one person didn't say they were checking on it I would have asked again sooner, but I can't believe it was ready the whole time! And I have no idea why Mike said he would do mea favor and didn't do anything but charge me full price and give me my keys. I will stick with Pepboys next time read more
