I was able to order tires, schedule the appointment for them to be mounted 5 days later and be charged a deposit. I dropped off my vehicle at the scheduled time. Run away and wait till Monday but for no reason do not visit this Mavis. After spending a lot for 4 new totes on our Escalade they bumped something in the wheel that caused metal on metal rubbing. Not only was it hazardous, dangerous and scary but the repairs after their tire replacement was an additional $900+. I called and was assured it had to be minor but when it wasn't the manager nor district manager never returned my calls. This was April 4th just two days after the replacement. Less than a month later we are having low tire issues - benefit of the doubt took it back to them on this past Monday. They couldn't find anything and today we are again low yet 8 hours away. We own over 40 vehicles so please note as a business owner I try to never post bad reviews. After several opportunities and no communication we hope no one endangers their family or themselves by trusting this company. Great hours doesn't equate to great service or results. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. This company will never service my car again. In the past, I had taken my car to this location before Mavis bought them out and had no issues. I took my car to get a set of tires. Scheduled an appointment online. Called 2 days ahead to see if my tires were in stock. The manager confirmed that they were. Got there for my appointment, they only had 2 of the tires so I had to decide on different ones after I had already researched the brand. I dropped my car off. Came back to pick it up and the passenger side of the bumper was damaged. The bumper was slightly pulled off the car. I spoke to the manager. He took pics and said they would pull the cameras. Three days later, I still had not heard anything back. I called and the Mgr stated that they had just pulled the camera footage and were about to review. Why would it take 3 days just to pull the footage? The Mgr called back to tell me they didn't see anything in the footage. I asked him to pull the video from the front camera since I parked my car right in front of the door when I dropped it off. This way they could see clearly that my bumper was not damaged when I dropped the car off. The response was "oh we didn't pull that video!" I also said that I had the footage from my home cameras that show my car was not damaged when I left the house to bring it to them. He asked me to come up the next morning. I went the next day and the manager wanted to let his crew "fix it". He said his crew was talented and could do something to fix it. Like place a washer where they broke the clip off the bumper. No sir.. this is NOT a body shop. I let him know I didn't feel comfortable letting them fix something that they have no knowledge or expertise about, especially since someone from the crew damaged it anyway. The manager then made it seem as though he was doing me a favor to attempt to fix. How is it a favor when your company damaged my car?!? I mentioned again about him pulling their front camera footage and again he stated that they didn't. I asked him to pull it. No response. The manager then stated that he would have to let corporate handle it but corporate would be more stringent. I'm lost as to why corporate wasn't handling it in the first place. I was told that corporate would call me within an hour... no phone call. I called corporate myself and filed a complaint. I was told the Regional Manager would call me back by the end of the day. No call received. This is terrible customer service. It's ridiculous. By the way, I called Corporate again today... still no resolution nor have I spoken with the Regional Manager who was supposed to follow-up in the first place. read more

If I could give this shop zero stars I would. I went there in September to get an alignment. I had just purchased new tires from somewhere else. By the beginning of December, I had NO TREAD on my back two tires and my car was fishtailing. I took my car to my mechanic, being a woman I didn't know what was going on at the time, and he told me that my tires were bald from a bad alignment. Fast forward, I took my vehicle back to the place I bought the tires and they told me the same thing. I then went back to Mavis, who had done my alignment, and the manager admitted it was an alignment issue but said it was because I knocked the alignment out by going over speed bumps. I explained that this was my daily driver and I don't go over speed bumps to get to my job. He then stated that the tire sizes were two big also for the back of the car, which was untrue because I have had those tires on my car for a long time and never had that problem until I got an alignment here. He said that he would order tires and call me. Fast forward to January still no call. I went back up there and he told me the corporate office person was in a meeting. I have gone back up there two more times and he has told me the same thing. Being that this is my daily, I have had to replace 3 tires because of a bad alignment with no compensation because the manager nor corporate office want to take accountability. I will be settling my case in court because this is absolutely ridiculous. SN:went and got another alignment at Pep Boys and they showed me how bad the tires were. They were at a 50 something and 60 something and I think they should be no more than 15 if done correctly. I asked him if he wanted to see the pictures and of course he didn't. read more

I wasn't going to rate them until I took my vehicle elsewhere and was shown that I didn't need any work done on my back breaks, even though, this location priced me for new brakes and rotator all around, as well as two front shock!! Let's back up a little, the services was good initially. The staff was friendly and engaging for the most part. They are sort of salesmen so they were doing a pretty good job of selling their work. However, I was a little taken aback by the price quoted ($1483 not including taxes) with at least $700 of that being for labor!!! When I clearly recall seeing a sign that said "labor is $149 on the wall behind the register. As well as, I felt like I was being ganged up on after I said I didn't want to make the repairs in that moment. Might I add I did state when I enter the building "that I wanted a quote on the work needed for my car". I had like three to four different people in my face the whole time. I had to go back and forth and ask for them to put my car back together a couple of time. Didn't like that. I never want to feel like a business is hard up for my money, nor that they are trying to pull a fast one over on me. Yes, I am a woman, but I know enough about cars to know when I am trying to get one pulled over on me. I don't like price gauging when I am trying to patronize a business. I am a pretty loyal shopper, if I get excellent, reasonable and honest service. I will definitely return and send all my folks to that business. Now, I gotta send all my business to Frank's Auto Repair shop in Stockbridge because they are reasonable, fair and honest!!! If there was a way it would be 0 stars. No since of time for customers and expect non stop ability to come back and wait. As well as didnt fix the issue I came in for either time. I have came to this shop for two different issues 1. To fix a tire with a nail in. Made an appointment, showed up and was told it would not get worked on that day. Left having to search for a different place later in the day to find someone last minute. what was the point of the appointment. 2. Months later, I made an appointment for 10 am. Took off work and when I show up, I am told there isnt any mechanic working that day. I had a rattling noise that did get worse when braking but informed them I wasnt sure the issue, to perhaps check the brakes and whatever else might cause the rattling. Afterall I wouldnt know as not a mechanic or I would be fixing it myself. Work was done after convincing me that it was the brakes but I didnt need just pads, but the rotors as well. Once I picked my car up, the rattling wasnt as bad when braking but it still was there when just driving. I called the shop and was told to bring it back in to have looked at. I arrived, explained to the front desk person I was just there the day before and the noises and vibrations were still occuring. He said ok we can take a look, I ask how long it might be, he said within an hour to hour and half. So I sit in the waiting room, 30 minutes into waiting, comes back and says no one will look at it today as the store mgr wants to ride around with me to see what the issue might be but that she wasnt there today and I could bring it back the next day. I brought it back, arrived around 4:45 pm, shop was open till 8:30. I sit in the waiting room for 3 hours for them to look a the truck around 8 pm. They tell me the wheel bearing is off, which was causing the rattling. The only reason I came to the shop to begin with. I already paid around 1k for the brakes they said were the issue. Then I am told it would be about $500 more for the wheel bearing. So all new labor etc being charged when it wasnt fixed the first time. And that was apparently a discount of some kind as knew I had already been in there. As well as they waited until 30 minutes before closing, that the work could not be done that day. So 3 days of making time and effort to have someone follow me to the shop, sit and wait. never hearing any eta on time frames like it just didnt matter. Along with the brakes that probably didnt have to be completed at that point in time. I am now having to search for a shop that might be able to fix my wheel bearing as lost any faith in it being done and being done timely. I think I should have paid closer attention to all the other reviews but was in a bind. I will be disputing my credit card charges as the issue was never fixed that I went in for and most likely I was lied too and said the brakes were the issue when they werent. Mechanics can get a bad reputation when not trustworthy, and I would rank this place as the most untrustworthy autoshop I have ever dealt with. read more

I came in for a wheel alignment and tire rotation turned out I had a few nails in my tires. Unlike most repairs shops they did not pressure me to buy a new tire they gave me options on how I wanted my car repaired and I loved that. They never tried to up sell me on anything but they actually gave me a lot of discounts. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!!! In a pinch (because I couldn't get in with our regular mechanic) I went to the Eagles Landing Mavis to have my front brakes done - and was told that all in total I would wait an hour and a half to two hours. After the two-hour mark, they came and got me and took me to the shop (which I thought seemed like a liability, but I also thought they would tell me it was done). Instead, the guy in the shop started telling me all the things that I needed to do to my car. He stated I also needed rear brakes (rotor and brake) and then proceeded to ask me how many miles were on my vehicle - when I responded with 75k he then quickly said oh yeah you need your shocks done too because they are leaking - hmmmm really why did you need to know my mileage to then tell me they need to be replaced (because of a leak). He must have thought I was born yesterday and tried to tell me I was getting a heck of a deal to get all that work done for $2100 - and I said but I only want my front brakes done and was already supposed to be out the door. Then when I said we couldn't afford that he messed with his computer and said oh I just got the price down to $1700 and advised me if we couldn't afford it we could apply for their credit card or in-store payment plan that is directly debited from your bank each month. These guys obviously work on commission and I can smell a scam from a mile away and advised him that I was only getting my front brakes done. As if it was in retaliation because he didn't get to make me spend a fortune with them he said fine I would have to wait even longer for them to order the brake pads and then to do the brake job. So, in total, I waited four and a half hours for a front brake job that should have taken two hours at the very most. read more

Wanna know y? well u went to this dealer to get a noise on my car fixed I got their at 8 and waited they finally took my car to get looked at after attending 5other people, and I got their right as they opened. it was 10 before they finally took my car to get looked and and around 10:30 I was getting mad. The guys who attended me left and didn't come back. Like he was on BREAK!!! And when I went to the waiting area they have a cleaning lady cleaning everything every MINUT. you have to hold up your feet to wait for her to be done , But she never stopped and after 3 more hours they finally gave me my car back. I had a tirebuyer order that was shipped to this store, I figured I would try them out as the price seemed reasonable and they were close enough to me. They called and had said my order arrived and I hade made an appointment to get the tires changed for 8 am since that would not interfere with my work schedule, the people who called and I scheduled my appointment with were apparently off the day I came in to get the work done. I showed up at 8, they said they couldnt find the tires, after 30-40 minutes of going around with my confirmation number that showed they were there and telling them their own store called me to tell me they were there and scheduled the appointment, they miraculously found them, but at that point they had already started taking other customers around me, which was no fault of my own, but it was now getting later and later and I was on a schedule so I could make it to work. Once they did get started they did get the tires on the wheels, but ended up scratching two of my wheels. I asked for the manager but was ignored, like these people were deaf or something, trying to get them to call back or take responsibility for damaging your car is not one of their priorities, this is the last place I would ever take a car I cared about. This is the perfect example of why I do any work on my own cars that I can cause no one else cares about how they treat someone elses property, unfortunately I dont have a tire changing and balancing machine at my house. There are plenty of local stores that can change tires and do care that you can go to in the local area, but I would avoid this chain store that dont care about you or your car. read more

Zero stars. I realized today that this tire shop put different tires than what I requested on my car 15k miles ago. Today the tires are worn out. Why? Because the shop put run flat tires on my car when I had requested Cinturato p7 all season tires. An exact replacement for the tires I had. Also today, the road hazard warranty I paid for was declared to be of no use because run flat tires can't be repaired. So I was sold the wrong tires, and an extra warranty which is useless. Bravo business owner. You have lost 4 loyal driving customers from my household. An awesome day for your reputation. I scheduled an 8:00 am appointment for a tire repair. I waited in line behind 5 other people when i got there at 8:05. I finally got to the counter at 8:30 and told them i had an appointment and asked how long it would take. The man replied about 1 1/2 hours. I was a little surprised and asked why so long and he replied that they had " a lot of 8:00 appointments." So i asked if everyone ahead of me in line had appointments and he replied "yes". I went outside and asked a young lady that was ahead of ne in line if she had an appointment and she replied "no, i just got a flat tire and brought it in". She was the customer that my rep assisted right before me, so i knew then that he had just lied right to my face! NEVER TRUST MAVIS TIRE! I am writing this review from the Discount Tire at Eagle's Labding parkway where my tire repair was estimated at 1 1/2 hours WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Terrible shop that takes advantage of customers. I've given this shop multiple chances. Each time I take my car there they've either 1) "found" other problems that cost upwards of $300 to fix or 2) something else has been wrong with my car after leaving the shop that had nothing to do with the original problem. I took my car there for an oil change on Friday and in the next two days, I've had engine problems resulting in my A/C not working. As a young, single woman, I've felt taken advantage of and they will flirt with you, but will tear your car apart for more money. This place needs to be shut down. read more

The manager lied directly to my face about doing an alignment and refused to do an alignment in order to go home early, I set an appointment and the lied and said they couldn't find it , these people lied to my fiancee and told her they did an alignment back in July now I find out they never did the job took my money and got violent when I asked them to fix the problem like the asset. Manager told me he would over the phone 2 days before. This is a poorly run operation lead by a GM who has no problem using underhanded tactics to make a few dollars. I visited a year or so back when they were Kauffman Tires and had a Horrific experience. Even the managers don't know how to execute professional customer service skills. The manager had an attitude and allowed his body language and posture to obviously reflect that he was angry and unaware of how to properly handle the situation. He also tried to lie about the tread on my tires to make me buy new ones. They also allowed me to leave with a loose ludnut and refused to tighten it and instead advised me to go back to whoever put the tires on my car. I made an appointment on Tuesday for Saturday at 11:30. The lady said they had 3 tires and she would order the other to be there Saturday morning. I arrived and proceeded to checkin with the lady at the desk. She was not pleasant at all and seemed to dislike her job. She seemed annoyed that people were coming in to get tire service. She took all of my information down and she told me it would be a 2 hour wait. I said ok even though I was thinking why does it take that long if I have an appointment?! Well 2 1/2 hours later I ask her how many more people were ahead of me. She went to look and came back to me and said the guy in the bay needed to talk to me. He told me that they didn't have any tires that fit my car and the lady that took my appointment gave me wrong information. My response to him was even if that's the case I've been sitting here for 2 1/2 hours and no one said anything to me! I told him I will never be back and that the lady in the front needed you find another job because its apparent that she is not happy. I bought 2 tires in July they were put on the front of my vehicle. The original tires was bad but I didn't have to air them up. But since I bought the new tires I have to put air in the tire on the left about every 3 weeks. I've carried it back to Mavis twice, the first time they check the tire and told me they can't find a leak bring it back another day they would take the tire off and check it. The next time I took it to them, they told me the wait would be 2 hours which I didn't have time to wait that long. So they checked it again could not find a leak they said bring it back they would take the tire off and see what the problem could be. The gentleman said it could be the rim. I wonder how the rim got damaged, it wasn't damaged before they put the new tires on. I don't know what's going to happen after this but I will not be going back. read more

I was quoted a price by the manager, but she can't back and said that the mechanic told her that it was the wrong price for labor. A job that was $1731 quoted price went to $2100. I explained that I was going to pay the quoted price. The manger, Sequoia, stopped communicating with me and had Jason to do so. Jason was making smart remarks such as: "It won't happen with that quoted prices. I can't provide you with a copy of the invoice. I know that quote was wrong, but I could blame Mavis for it and many other people." To make matters worse, I was told that the bearings and front brakes would be completed today and I would have to drop my car off in the morning. I sat and waited from 4:45ish until 7:00 p.m. Jason walks over and asks if my ride was on the way. I explained to him that I was told that half of the repairs would be completed today and the other half tomorrow. He said he was sorry but everyone has left. He closed without offering a solution or anything and left. I was left on the bench outside waiting for a ride. I had the worst experience ever with this store and company. read more

Do not waste your time or money at this location!! I bought 4 new tires and got an alignment in November. Two months later, I went to the dealership to get an oil change and the tires were worn, after only 5k miles. I went to the dealership for another oil change last week and they informed me they couldn't rotate the tires because they needed to be replaced. The tires only have 13k miles on them and they are already at 1/32. I took the car back to Mavis and the manager tried to give me some bs excuse of why they were worn. When I challenged his reason, he asked me "why was I still talking because the conversation was over and there was nothing else to talk about". He wouldn't even look at the documentation showing the tires were worn after 5k miles. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm still waiting for them to submit the case to their warranty department so they can determine how to proceed. Meanwhile, I'm driving around on tires that puts my life and others in danger! I would not recommend anyone to patronize Mavis Tires on Eagles Landing. I had an 8:30 am appointment to replace 2 tires. As, I dropped the car off we were never addressed upon entering the business. They saw my appt in the system and told I would be contacted when it was ready. Called at noon and was told by the service manager Daniel that the car was on the rack and would be ready in 2 hours, but they would call me. At 3:00 pm. called and was told the car was almost ready and they would call me. At 4:30 we showed up, my car is on the rack no tires and the assistant manager said we tried to call but the number is incorrect. My husband asked for the number as the assistant manager tries to call and miraculously the phone rings, then he says we need to speak to the service manager Daniel. Daniel says the tires were not in the store, but the manager was the one that scheduled my appt the day before.....(crickets) so then he tells well I can give the Mavis tires instead of the Michelin tires I placed on order because mine were gone. No one ever apologized or why they didn't have the Michelins I ordered, however Daniel said he gave me a good deal of $50 off although my car had been there from 9;00-5:00 for replacement of 2 tires with an appt. The assistant manager spent the majority of his time flirting with a young lady that was hanging at the counter for several hours, so clearly customer was never emphasized in his training. I would never recommend anyone to patronize this store because of the poor customer service. read more

Took my wife's car in to get two tires. They told me it would be about an hour. Since we had to be at work, we decided we would pick car up after work; big mistake. Got a call 3 hours later stating that her brakes and rotors were shot and needed to be fixed ASAP. Knowing that I didn't hear anything when I drove her car and realizing her brakes were changed not too long ago, I didn't but it. I said that my mechanic would change breaks. Picked up car after work, the car reaked of body odor and her radio stations was changed!!! Answer me this, how long are you spending in a car to funk it up to be dammed and feel like your entitled to change the radio to a hip hop station so your more comfortable in you daily drive? You don't even need to drive a car to change a tire except to pull forward to the bin. Additional, the rotors were fine and when I changed the breaks, they were only 60% worn.
