My husband and I booked the Yosemite National Park Tour and Mammoth Lakes Tour with Mammoth All Weather Shuttle in mid September 2016. Lucas was our driver/tour guide and his service was excellent! Arrived in Mammoth Lakes and was unable to obtain a Lyft to drop me off in Yosemite for my backpacking adventure. Normally, MAWS requires a reservation, but I decided to phone MAWS anyways. The vehicle was a black Ford Expedition with lots of room and clean as a button. We managed to easily fit ourselves along with our massive backpacks in his vehicle. I almost never write reviews, so take this as a testament of how awesome Lucas and his team at MAWS are. I had a 4 day trip to Mammoth, when we arrived Lucas had already upgraded my group to a 14-seat van making it really easy to haul the gear. When my group was ready to leave Lucas accommodated a requested pickup location change - the Village instead of our condo - without a problem. The flight home was cancelled, and sure enough Lucas was there to help shuttle me and my friends, and a lady who was unable to contact her son, back to town for the night ($15 each since he was already out). He even offered to set us up with a ride back to LA; would be $100 per person if there were 14 people because of the flat rate on the van. He picked us up the next morning and had already contacted a rental car agent at the airport who helped set us up with a car to get back to LA, preventing us from having to pay for a ride to Bishop. Lucas is truly a gentleman and a scholar, my only worry being that his business would grow too much and he would be unable to provide such excellent service. Why would you book any other shuttle service in Mammoth? MAWS is really a cut above. read more

I found myself in urgent need to get back to my car as I had just come off a thru hike. I texted MAWS Transportation late in the evening for a ride from a bus stop to my car (the last leg after two buses and a hitched ride). I received a call back within an hour and was able to work out what stop and time would be best. My driver drove up just as I got off my bus at 8pm and drove me the final hour and a half to my car. My driver was and both nice and a safe driver. Yes, it was a bit pricey. And I probably would not use the service if I had the time (I actually would have had to spend another night in a hotel on my trip back to my car due to the bus schedule).
