I will say I had a great experience with hair/makeup and dress but photography was such a horrible experience. We saw sample pictures beforehand and decided to go with Rahel but the pictures we actually got were no where near what we were given. I will preface and say that we were pre-warned that we were double booked that day and were not going to get the main photographer,however, I am not just upset at the quality of photos but just the lack of professionalism that followed. We ended up taking studio photos that day with the main photographer which actually were edited and came out nice, however, the pictures taken at the venue were terrible with the other photographers. Many of the pictures looked like we were inside a club due to horrible flash. Many pictures we were washed out with flash directly in our faces. Not just that but barely none were edited. We just got a photo dump of nearly 7 gbs of just raw pictures. We hired photography to get professional pictures but we just ended up with a photo dump of just raw photos and terrible ones at that. The worst part is I tried emailing the group about my concerns 3 times with NO response and am just amazed at their unprofessionalism with their clients. I guess once they have your money they just have no regard for you. If at least there was some dialogue about the situation I don't think I would have been as upset but the fact that before the wedding they were very responsive to the silence that followed afterwards is just what is very upsetting.

Turns out my terror wasn't necessary! Lena warmly scolded me for getting myself into such a pickle before pinning & marking the dress. I returned some days later to try it on & could not believe it! The dress felt great on & I felt beautiful, & layers upon layers of delicate fabric had been expertly snipped, tucked, shortened, & sewn. After a couple more tweaks, I was able to pick up the dress the day before leaving for the wedding & support my girl as she walked down the aisle. Thank you so much, Lena!

i can see why the help there would lie to me and tell me that cat was on vacation, when in reality SHE NO LONGER WORKS THERE. It only took 3 weeks of calling and recieving 6 different answers as to where she was, to find out that she is on a permanent vacation. As in Sayanara sweetheart (necklines of course:). i mean, how unproffessional is that? Be a grown up and say, "I'm sorry, Cathy no longer works here, my name is so and so, how may i help you?" I have to admit, i started dress shopping WAY early for sure, i had a year and a half until my wedding when i met cat, and she knew i wasnt ready to buy a dress but had given me her undivided attention anyway. (i was irked at bridal reflections for rushing my appointment with minimum concern because i told them i was PRE-wedding dress shopping, but thats a whole other yelp in itself.) But i guess since ive come to the conclusion that theres pretty much is no other reason to shop at this store, i cant blame them. Compared to similar shops, the dresses are overpriced, and i was told that the policy there on not giving more of a discount was not negotiable. whatever. If that were the only issue i probably would have given another star or two, but it was the second girl helping me get into the wedding dresses that gets my pee-u review...when i was being helped in and out of these tarps of dresses she kept telling me how hot i was and to 'look at my body' and 'look how smokin i am'. i said thanks and she called out to the other girl that is now new i guess too, and asked her to check out my body...i wasnt sure if she was trying to sell me a dress or make me have second thoughts about my fiance. needless to say, i was pretty much totally uncomfortable, and did not have the fun relaxed shopping experiance that i was expecting when i came in. read more

My experience with Max Bridal and the staff there was amazing! I went in with my Mom, sister, and niece and they made us feel completely comfortable. They were totally focused on us. I had been to other Bridal stores where the staff's attention is clearly scattered. They didn't even bat an eyelash at my niece taking flower girl dresses and trying them on. Other places have a fit if you try to do wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses at the same time. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted and Courtney was patient and seemed genuinely interested in making me happy! I tried on something she thought would look good on my figure even though I was doubtful, and I knew immediately it was "the dress". I didn't buy right then and there because later that day I had another appointment at a place who is probably the best known bridal store on Long island. I was narrow minded in thinking "I had to" get a dress from that other store. I went to that other appointment and neither the dresses or the staff could compare to Max. I called Courtney that same night and ordered my dress over the phone! I didn't want to wait another minute to order "the dress". Courtney emailed me an invoice within 5 minutes. I can't wait for my dress to come in to start the next step of the process at Max Bridal. Max is not a large place, but the quality of their dresses and customer service makes it very worth it! read more

My search for a dress started and ended with Max Bridal! I initially went there for their Stella York trunk show. I went on the website to start my search and immediately fell in love with one specific dress. When i arrived at Max Bridal I was excited and nervous all at the same time. I was greeted with a warm welcome and my dress consultant, Celia, came right over to me to get started. I told her about the dress I wanted to try on and she started pulling a lot of beautiful dresses for me. Celia pulled this one dress that really caught my eye and I knew the second i laid my eyes on it i knew it was my dream dress. I went ahead and tried on the dress I was originally there for first and immediately knew it wasn't for me. I was very excited to try on the dress that caught my eye so I tried it on next. I knew the second I pulled it up that it was "the one". My Mom and Mother-in-law loved the dress on me and we couldn't stop staring at it. I tried on other dresses to make my Mom happy, but we all knew that I had found my dress. Celia was amazing during the fitting! She was super patient with me and gave me all the feedback I needed. I wouldn't have been able to get through it without her. I'm picking up my dress on Saturday and cant wait to try it back on and see Celia again!! Thanks everyone at Max Bridal for all their help. I absolutely loved my experience at Max Bridal. I worked with Ann and she was SO patient and accommodating and kind. Ann took the time to get to know me and understood what I was looking for. I also loved that she would show me a veil with all the dresses I tried on because no other store did this for me. Ann really worked with me to help me find the silhouette that looked best on me and helped me find my dream dress! I originally came in, tried a bunch of dresses, and then tried one other store and ended up back here again the next day. Ann was so kind and came in the very next day and was able to fit me in for an appointment again no problem. No other store selection or salesperson compared to the level of customer service I felt with Ann and at Max. I also loved that they were not pushy at all and everyone that worked there was very nice. They stay within your budget (although everything in the store is under $4,000 with a HUGE selection of dresses under $2,000- and I can honestly say that the dresses here for the $1500-$2000 price points are SO much nicer then dresses twice the price that I had previously tried in a high end boutique). I honestly cannot say enough kind words here about Max Bridal and the amazing woman who helped me (Thank you Ann!!). I would recommend Max Bridal over any other Long Island bridal shop! I had an extremely disappointing experience at Max's Bridal in Syosset. When I first ordered my gown in July 2025, multiple staff members measured me, discussed ordering up or down, and seemed unsure about which size to order. At my "try on and take home" appointment in September, the gown did not zip. The manager, Leila, admitted the original measurements were clearly incorrect and told me a new dress would need to be ordered. Over the next several days, I received conflicting explanations: first that the salon made an error (Leila's perspective), then that the designer was at fault (Bri, another manager's perspective) and then that the designer could not be contacted. I repeatedly asked for written documentation and confirmation that a replacement order was placed, but the store was not transparent. Finally, instead of correcting their mistake, Max's Bridal processed a refund and told me to purchase my gown elsewhere, framing it as a lack of "trust" on my part. While I appreciate that I was refunded, I am now left scrambling to reorder my dress before my wedding Bridal gowns are a once-in-a-lifetime purchase, and the process should inspire confidence, not stress and confusion. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Max's Bridal due to their lack of accountability, professionalism, and customer care. read more

After visiting a handful of other bridal boutiques and trying on about 20 dresses, I finally found the perfect dress for me at Max Bridal. I couldn't believe I said "yes" to the FIRST dress I tried on from them! There were definitely tons of tears. Max Bridal is a bit further from where I am located, but worth every trip. Amanda and Sun were both sweet and helpful throughout every visit. Their front desk is organized and professional. Parking was always easy to find in the area. My bridesmaids also found their dresses here. You'll see that they have a really nice array of color options to fit your wedding theme. A few advice. Ladies, start looking for your dress early because it takes about 5 months for the dress to come in once you place your order, and then about another month for one to two fittings. I don't necessarily recommend their in-house tailor if you are meticulous with craftsmanship. As an event planner, I have recommended Max Bridals to many of my clients, especially the sales consultant Julie. My most recent client asked me to look at the review that was posted from Jana U since she was very upset about it. Each one of my clients have come back to thank me for the recommendation and how much Julie made their wedding dress shopping such a wonderful experience. Having personally witnessed the way Julie has dealt with brides and their families, I can honestly say she is NOT rude, NOT pushy, and has NONE of the characteristics that this reviewer has written. Having also worked in retail for several years, I know that many manufacturers have specific guidelines on the selling price of their products , and discounts can be only allowed at certain times and in specific situations. If Jana U really worked in retail for all these years, she would know this. I hope your daughter is proud of you giving a bad review about someone only because you did not get a discount on a dress. read more

Max Bridal was the third bridal shop I went to. After reading several reviews, I decided to give them a shot even though it was a bit far from home. They were very prompt with emails and really worked with my schedule. First off, as silly as it sounds, they were the only shop to offer my guests a DRINK OF WATER- it may sound crazy but it gets very warm and overwhelming at these shops so I really appreciated that. To my surprise, I had the entire shop to myself when I was trying on dresses..doesn't get much better then that. I worked with Celia and she was simply AMAZING. I must've tried on about 15-20 dresses. She really tried to get me into something I would feel great in. She was so patient and was handing me different dresses for a good two hours. She never gave up on me and I finally found the dress that I was looking for the entire time! Celia really put in a lot of effort and made me feel special.. Thank you Max Bridal! I was more than pleased with my experience at Max Bridal! I had narrowed down the designers I was interested in and found out Max Bridal carried both, so I knew I had to try it out. Other reviews were really positive as well, and now I know why! Having one appointment at a time allows you to have all their attention and not feel rushed. This was my first experience trying on dresses and I felt very comfortable. I had 7 people with me and they offered us water and allowed plenty of comfortable seating. Everyone was allowed to browse. I had an idea of what I wanted and a price range and Courtney did a great job of finding perfect options for me. She was very patient, kind, understanding, helpful and knowledgeable. Once narrowed down she let me try on the same dresses again and again to compare. Courtney even helped us pick out accessories! I ended up purchasing the perfect wedding dress! My daughter had shown Celia a picture of the type of dress she wanted and she had it ready and waiting for us when we came in for our appointment. She also had several other dresses for my daughter to try on. Each one seemed perfect! I had a lot of questions before booking my appointment and they were so responsive and helpful. Being a plus size bride, I was so nervous that I wouldn't be able to try a lot on, but that was the complete opposite. They got me in every single dress I pulled. I bought my dress from here last year, amazing experience. this year, closer to my wedding I scheduled my bridal fitting appointments. 2nd week of June, I dropped off my dress for cleaning. (please note that my dress was in bag till this day, never took it out, it was in prestige condition when I bought it, even when I wanted to take a sneak peak, I resisted because I didn't want anything on my dress). my first dress fitting was on July 15th, the dress was still in good condition, everything was cleaned and was great. the seamstress experience was okay. I tried to be nice with whatever. just shook of the bad feelings. my second dress fitting was scheduled to be on 2 weeks after, but they had cancel it and reschedule since the AC was not working in the store, then my second and last fitting was on July 31st. during the initial appointment and last appointment my 3 aunts were with me. during this second appointment, I saw there was a teeny tiny drop of blood. (it looked like someone pricked their finger). the seamstress said that was always there. she kept on telling that to me and my aunts. I didn't want to make a scene, human error, and I let it go. well, that was mistake. she covered up that spot with 2 flowers. she put the stain remover for a second and gave up and said it didn't work. at the end of the second fitting, the seamstress said the dress will only be ready later in the day and asked if anyone can pick it up. we said sure, because "it is a bridal shop and they should know how to handle the dress", right. we picked up the dress later in the day. after that on the morning of my wedding on august 21. I took the dress out the bag. the dress was supposed to be steamed and pressed, it was not. and then we were steaming it and that's when I saw all the mistakes, the seamstress had cut a lace piece out of my dress. whenever she was doing my fitting she said "she will find a piece of lace that matches the dress", not cut it out of my dress. a button was missing, please note this is after paying $800 in alterations, even without asking what was the charge was for. I had emailed the store after the first incident, they asked me to bring my dress, but I just wanted to notify them of the incident. but after the wedding, I called and emailed them about all this. they said the best they can do for me is cleaning and preservation ($460 value), I didn't trust them to take my dress anymore, because after preserving, I will never know what will happen to it. they also try to blame me and never own the mistakes, I think that is the hardest part, not apologizing for the mistakes, I understand being professional and can't say sorry in legal reasons or whatever, but there is a fine line between human error and clear negligence. so buy the dress from here but find a better seamstress. else all on your wedding day, all you will be able to think is "why did that seamstress do this to me, what did I do to her, there is a piece of lace missing from my dress, there is a button missing from my dress" attaching the dress pictures on the day off.

I met with Rosie and I explained what I wanted. She brought me 3 dresses to try on and I really liked the third dress as did my sisters and mom. I was in it for 10 minutes, walking around the store and Rosie said she was going to pull another dress to see if she could top the one I had on. And guess what? SHE DID! I fell in love with the 4th dress I put on and I had on a veil and shoes, and the whole nine. Mia, the store manager was also with Rosie & I, and they both confirmed how beautiful I looked, and my Mom and sisters agreed. I decided I would sleep on it and come back the next week to see if I was still in love with it. I went back in on Tuesday and met with Rosie again and proceeded to try on 7 dresses (including my favorite and runner up) and my sisters, Mom, and Grandma and I came to the conclusion that the favorite from the prior week was still the favorite and I said yes to the dress! I know my wedding is 19 months out, but I really am in love with my dress. Both Mia and Rosie were personable, down to earth, and helpful. I know David's Bridal does not get the best rep, but all of the staff I came across here are nothing short of great and I am so, so happy with my experience. I will be sending my bridesmaids here and my mom will most likely be buying her dress here as well. Ask for Rosie when you book your appointment, she's amazing! Don't believe when people bad mouth David's Bridal. This location will put the badmouthers to shame!!

So sad where else are people going to buy wedding dresses. The staff was so nice regardless they are going to be unemployed in a few weeks. They have sales up to 80% off which came in handy for my daughter's dress. We brought the most beautiful cream dress for her baptism for $40. My daughter had a blast in the store looking for her baptism dress. It is a shame they are closing. Check it before 7/19!

So this was also mid pandemic and at the time only one person was allowed to come, so they allowed me To have 4 different appointments with the ones who meant most to me, Sheri even stayed late one day. So I already was very pleased and then I met Dalia, who was a complete angel to work with. I gained a few Pounds during Covid like a lot of us, and I was so upset and nervous because my dress did not fit, my next appointment 1 week later Dalia took out my dress and I felt like a beautiful bride, I also brought a veil in with me from else where, which I had a few concerns about Dalia altered it and made it the veil of my dreams. I felt like I was part of the family here by the time I picked up my Dress. This wasn't your typical get you in and out experience it was so much more. Sheri would even call me from time to time to see how planning and dieting was going. When I picked up my dress I was so sad to have to say goodbye to these ladies because they have truly been the best part of wedding planning.
