Not gonna lie, after reading all of the terrible reviews for this place I almost didnt even go to this dealer but they had a used unit that I was very interested in. Dealing with the sales dept was a pretty mediocre experience however I really did like the finance manager Matt and I got to meet Maxie and he was a pretty stand up guy as well. A few days later when I went to pick up the unit I had purchased I was really concerned about things not working as they could not connect power and water to the unit for me to check everything before purchasing the unit. At pick up they did have power and water connected so I could verify that everything worked. They also had gave the unit a deep cleaning and it looked great. They even had replaced the old power tongue jack with a brand new one and put 2 brand new deep cycle batteries on the unit. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AVOID AT ALL COSTS Went to go look at a camper, it wasnt even out of the service bay on the lot to view. I decided that it was the floorplan i wanted and agreed to a sale pending a good cleaning and repairing/replacing certain items. They initially said it would be ready by the end of the week, then updated that it would be a couple days later. Salesman Jaden didnt know jack about campers. Finance guy was a typical weasel about sneaking in fees, gap, and warranty. They charged $3k in fees and still dont do everything. I finally went up to get the camper and there were cob webs on the lights, stains on the walls and curtains-obviously not cleaned very well. They charged me $300 to install a water filtration system when i had simply asked for a hose filter. Whatever techs they had did a 3rd grade art level job of the lap sealer on the roof, someone ran over the 7pin cord and that needed to be replaced. They said they would redo any seals on the outside that were worn-there were multiple chunks missing, bubbles, overspray of caulk, etc. Trust all the reviews here and save yourself a terrible headache. They don't want to come outside to show the campers. It appears; they want customers to beg them, plead with them, kiss their butts and pay for the camper. WARNING: Do not buy from Maxie Price RV. My immediate family member--an honest, reasonable, and kind person--was treated appallingly here. She bought her camper June 10, 2025, and it has spent half of the time since then sitting on their lot for problems they either caused or failed to catch in their so-called "inspection." They've been condescending, uncommunicative, and refused to stand behind their work--even within 90 days of purchase. In 8 weeks, she's used the camper twice, both times with issues. They've had it longer than she has. This is how they treat customers who spend tens of thousands of dollars--stay far away. read more

We knew what we were looking for when buying our RV. Maxie Price met the price that was offered for the same one that was over 1000 miles away (we were willing to go get it there). Problems started when we went 4 days later to pick up the RV. (they had to winterize it and add a few additional items onto it). It was not ready. Our 4pm pick up time ended up with us not getting the RV for another 2 days. (we live 2 hours away). Make sure you check EVERYTHING with your walk thru. Even if you think you can fix it yourself. They do not want to help you with these repairs. Stick to your right as the purchaser. The service department is really lacking in any customer service. We had to be the ones calling over and over for information, and given different information from everyone we talked to. read more

Drove 45 minutes to look at a toy hauler to find a salesman sitting on the couch and refused to show it said I needed her all my financial information. I've never went to buy an item and I had to show my financial information before, even getting to view the item . Then had the manager tell me they were. Worst experience ever. We bought a camper from this place last year turned around paid the camper off cancelled our extended warranty because the coverage was nothing like the dealership told us could not get any response from this place and they held our money and I had to get the actual warranty company involved when we paid it off could not get a title from this place and they gave every excuse they could not to send the title. They didn't file for our manufacturers warranty I had to call KZ and get them to hound the dealership to turn this in. One of the storage areas was keyed different and we could never get Maxie price to give us a key for this nobody returns phone calls nobody returns emails everybody has an excuse absolutely worst service ever I would never recommend anybody to do business with them if you are expecting a phone call back or a good experience I even went as far as emailing the owner and leaving voicemails for him describing my issues and no return communication so that speaks volume that he does not even care about the customers read more

BUYER BEWARE! This is not an honest business! We purchased a used RV that was supposed to drive annd run and they even claimed that it passed a safety inspection. The RV burned up in my driveway before I could ever take it on a trip. The mechanic told me that I was sold a bomb. The wiring for the starter was wedged against the engine block, and it started arching electricity inside the cab of the RV between the passenger and driver seat. It almost burned down my house and surrounding properties. Maxie Price did nothing to reconcile this. A complete and total loss. read more

Our buying experience 7 years ago was stellar, the repair folks do relatively quality work but their service department staff who checks you in, never answers the phone and barely respond to texts (their preferred method of poor communication as designated by their voicemail) is very disappointing at best. Buy from them but unless you enjoy lack of documenting the repairs you requested, poor explanation of repair estimate and vastly poor communication seek elsewhere for your repairs. read more

Had a price set for a new travel trailer for everything other than tag, tax, and title (as in, the full online listed price, did not negotiate anything down). Left work early to drive out of town to sign paperwork for the travel trailer and the monthly payment seemed off. When I asked to double check the final price, they pulled it from the bottom of the paper stack and had included almost 2k in additional charges above the agreed price. They wanted me to sign multiple papers before seeing that sheet. The finance person said those additional fees were not negotiable even though they were added on to the all in price we already agreed on. They refused to honor the verbal agreement that was made (the full online listed price) so I took my business elsewhere. read more

I will never ever step foot in Maxie Price Dealerships, Cleveland,Ga. or Loganville, Ga. This group of car dealers, RV dealers have no professional or ethical conscious morals for the customer after a sale. So future buyer beware, you are own your own with any problems that arise from your purchase with this company. If camping dealerships were a pimple, Maxie Price would be the "head" of it. The East To West camper we purchased in April, 2022 is nothing but junk with multiple, multiple issues. Maxie Price has had this camper four times with a slap of a bandaid concerning the heating, electrical, and cosmetic issues. (I could do better with skin glue from the hospital for repair) They even have the lying nerve to tell us, "we have no record of repairs" when I requested proof for the Forest River and Good Sams warranty we purchased as well. Please save your hard earned money and time, buy a good tent instead from Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart will at least give your money back on defective products. The bottom line is we never have heat, the furnace comes on barely when it decides, the electrical plugs will blow if you try using coffee pot/small space heater at the same time. You have to decide...freeze to death or coffee. All the accent lights fell off the trim or pulled off and lay on the roof of the back slide. The bathroom door fell off due to what looks like maybe 1/2 inch screws holding the track up. The elmer's glue holding the trim in the back bedroom gave up the ghost, the hot water pipe under the bathroom sink started leaking, and a poltergeist decided to started oozing green appearing fluid under the wall in the bathroom. ( Only the "Shadow Knows") what the devil that is. My husband cannot look underneath due to being sealed under the camper. We have no one to turned to with this horror of a camper, so please read this review and don't be a victim of Maxie (the lying) Price, even to the point of the GM "Brent" telling my husband he would personally speak with Mr. Price and get back with him. Uhhhhhh...2 weeks now. So we are not holding out breath for that one either. read more

Terrible sales experience!! The only time we got a call back without having to reach out to the salesman multiple times was when he wanted to know if we had done the credit app. I would send multiple text before I might get a text back. I still don't know what the bank had to say. The only thing that Maxi Price has done is caused a hit on our credit scores. They need to fire the entire staff and start over. We applied for a loan 3 weeks ago and have not heard from the salesman Corey nor the sales manager. It's not that difficult to pick up a phone and let someone know what is going on! If someone bought the camper we were looking at then tell us that. If the bank wants more money down tell us that. Communication is a great tool and the need to learn it!! read more

We came in and was told we were approved on the camper we wanted. We drove 4 hours one way to get there. We gave a $7k cash down payment. Waited for almost a week to find out when to pick up. Only to get a call telling us they couldn't get the financing because we were from out of state. Which they knew from the beginning. I'm ok with the fact that it didn't work out. The problem is they refused to wire transfer the money to our bank account and we had to make a 10 hour round trip to go pick up the check because they wouldn't return the money in the same form they collected it in. They did nothing to work out the issue. They had several options to do so. Now we have to wait for another week for the check to clear the bank before we can have access to our money. We would have not have gave them such a large down payment had they not said we got the financing. It was a very frustrating experience and I felt like they didn't show much in the way of customer service. We are still waiting for the check to clear the bank which has held up out funds for over 2 weeks. Terrible customer service. Not a very good attitude and they didn't even attempt to find a solution to make it right. Would never recommend them to anyone. read more

My husband and I tried to give these guys the benefit of the doubt; we were patient and forgiving of their mistakes, but we've officially had enough. For over a year, we have tried to avoid this step, but we feel this has to be said. We bought our camper (KZ Connect) in October of 2018. Since then, we have only been able to use it twice. The camper has spent three-quarters of our ownership time in their repair shop (8 months total so far). Every time we take it out, something falls apart: the body frame shifts and pulls apart not allowing doors to open or close and making interior walls separate, building material breaks away, like the sink falling down, refrigerator separating from the wall, furniture hardware ripping itself from the frame and brackets, the shower ripping away from the wall and interior generally falling apart and becoming unusable. Then Maxie Price service takes months to "fix" it for us. Most of the time when we get it back we have to drop it off again because they have not fixed everything, or have fixed it incorrectly, stating it was "the best they could do". We've asked them to help us reach out to the manufacturer since they sell and back this product, and we have been met with nothing but resistance and told it's on us to reach out and take care of everything. Billy makes false promises on repairs, time frames, and accountability in general. When we finally sit down and try to come to a compromise, the situation always changes in their favor and we are met with excuses and they are unwilling to compromise in a way that could help us. This last time, we dropped our camper off in the middle of last October, and it is currently still there, and we are still awaiting information about when it will be done and the extent of the repairs. We have had zero communication and we are paying on a camper that has spent 8 months of the loan term so far in their repair shop. This is disgusting and horrible customer service. The second the sale is done, they wipe their hands clean of any responsibility, meanwhile still heavily verbally backing a product that is dismal at best, with a pushy, false representing sales team. They spent days convincing us that this product's quality was exactly what we wanted and we haven't even been able to enjoy it. Maxie Price RV has completely abdicated their responsibility, only paying attention to their bottom line. We are absolutely disgusted with this whole process as we continue to try to get our camper to a usable condition and try to enjoy it. I would highly recommend steering away from this dealership; they are dishonest and they abandon their customers. read more

My experience shopping there wasn't great. Definitely did not have confidence in the employees. I went to look at a "Hunter's Special" which is an older model with a far smaller price tag than most of what they sell. It was priced fairly for what it was. On the first day I looked at it the Slide out was not out nor was it hooked up. The sales person hooked up a battery so I could test appliances and see it with slide out open. It took 45 min and 5 different employees to figure out how to get the slide out open. The trailer had not been cleaned so there was an abundance of mice poop in every drawer. There was rotting food in the freezer and when I opened the freezer door the smell about knocked me out. Still, the price was fair assuming everything worked which I still didn't know because there was no where to plug in. Sales person assured me they would test everything (appliances/ systems, etc. and even throw in a new mattress). When I went to make a deal and settle up I was told that there was only a safety check, that trailer was AS IS and they were not concerned with whether appliances worked our not. Said I was not ok with buying a trailer without being able to see if it had a working fridge, water pump, heat etc. Was told the sales person could have it moved to show room and hook it up for me. At this point it was my second trip there in two days and I was baffled as to why no one had volunteered this and why I, the customer was even having to ask to see the trailer hooked up. The kicker was when I asked what the out the door price was it was over $2000 higher than sticker price bc of admin fees?? So, it wasn't a good deal at all. This dealership was NOT forthcoming with how things worked at all. Depending on which employee you talk to will be totally different info. Everyone I spoke with was nice enough, but they do have pushy, manipulative, bait and switch sales tactics which is insulting and not appreciated at all. They seriously wasted my time and I would not only not recommend this dealership, but would advise to avoid it all together. read more

I would never recommend doing business With Maxie Price I had nothing but terrible experience from sales and management. Bought a brand new KZ camper at last year that was defective with a terrible roof leak. They fixed the roof but with all the damage done to the floor it will never be the same and it is starting to buckle. As soon as you walk up the steps to the camper you can see the floor is not level. They would not take the camper back nor would they would work with me on any type of a decent trade-in. I bought a New KZ sportsman in January that I am happy with. The sales portion of the experience was pretty good but it really ended there. They did not install the weight distribution hitch properly and that had to be fixed (they did pay a 3rd party to complete the repair) and getting warranty service is very difficult. Very few of the people in management that I dealt with in January still work there. I asked to speak with the service manager the other day and was informed that they currently do not have one. read more

We took our pull behind camper here because the slide out was broken! It took 2 weeks for them to even get a price to us. And that was after constantly calling them! It was always hard to get in touch with anybody! Their prices are very high and after the quote supposedly with taxes, it was still $100 more. I don't recommend them! They really disappointed me! Went in and had previously spoke with a dealer DANIELLE and she was busy, Dwight said he could show us a camper until she was finished. Dwight was nothing but kind and never tried to make a deal with us, walked back in and asked Danielle if she wanted to make a deal with us. Danielle started yelling that he was stealing clients in the middle of the showroom in FRONT of customers!! He most certainly was not!! Then Dwight was telling us bye and she came back out and continued insulting Dwight and yelling about him stealing her client. I will NEVER buy from Danielle. That was the most unprofessional, ridiculous, and nasty display I have ever seen. Do NOT buy from Danielle!! Maxie needs to have a thought about how their workers (Danielle) acts. I reviewed Maxie Price RV quite a while back and they were quick to respond asking for another try. We did that, met with a manager, they serviced the vehicle to our satisfaction, and we thought we were good. However, we had a late December appointment to rectify some issues, Winterize and do a check up. It was easily 10 weeks before we were able to pick the vehicle up. That seems like an inordinate amount of time to wait for what were not major repairs since the appointment was based on the availability you had given us. In bringing the RV back to the house this week to get it ready for another trip, we noticed an assortment of wet towels on the floor in the bathroom as well as one near the water pump in the storage area. When we turned on the pump and freshwater to dewinterize, it was clear that the service people had found leaks and simply chose not to? Forgot to? Advise us of the problem. Thank goodness we decided to start this process early in order to be ready for our trip. Maxi Price RV we are done with you. We will choose to drive an hour and a half to two hours to have our vehicle repaired properly. We sure would have liked to have stayed local but third strike and you are out. read more

I am done with the service department at Maxie Price RV in Loganville, GA. We dropped off our camper three weeks ago for some warranty work. (We were told that it'd be two weeks before they could even look at it.) We've been getting the runaround all week. I was told on Wednesday, by Maxie Price himself, that they'd pulled our unit in to begin working on it. (He actually called because my husband had left a 1-star google review and asked us to change it.) Then someone told us Friday that they haven't even contacted KZ to get approval to make the repairs. This is not the first time we've been treated this way over warranty work. They had our unit two months the first go 'round, then almost a month the last time. I understand that KZ, Inc. can drag their feet to approve repairs, but the dealership has a responsibility to their customers. Maybe Maxie Price RV Service has more work than they can handle. I don't know. We're picking up our unit today and will be contacting the president of KZ (I've spoken to him about these problems before). Then we'll probably take it to another KZ dealership two hours away who have promised to take care of us. read more

I just am so disappointed in the RV we purchased from Maxie price it has no heat so when we had it out on the road for seven months cause my husband works out of state we froze in new Mexico in dec cause our furnace wouldn't work then in Jan our slideout was messed up so we had so much moisture that mold set up we had it fixed at our own expence but had to replace the mattress at our expence so much has went wrong get it back home take it back to Maxie price for warranty work July 15th now here it is September 21st still no work has been done except one screw and our bathroom wall restapled do I go get it why pay for a RV that's sitting on the lot I'mma on considering a attorney buyers beware. read more

I purchased a used camper march 23 2017 with 4 yr warranty from maxie price RV paid over 21 thousand for it. I asked dozens of questions. Was told no leaks n no problems owners just divorcing n dont want it. Once delivered, it smells like cat pee...bad. only had it less than a month never used it yet. The first time it rained it leaked.. bad. Main bedroom floor, wall n front storage area soaked. Wall bubbling n peeling from rain water damage. Been calling and leaving messages not 1 call back. I text salesperson, no response. Finally got through n was told to call warranty service company. They said not covered for water damage nor previous leaks. Maxie Price RV lied and decievec me just to get rid of the camper. They knew it smelt n leaked. I have taped conversations from day one of walking on their lot. They lied every step of the way. And admitted it on april 25 2017 but are refusing to do anything. I was told by Bill they would call me back, i never got a call back. I called again left another message hes in meetings, out, busy on another line. One brush off after the other. I want a full refund. Im calling news channels n BBB if not refunded immeditally n seeking legal council. I have taped conversations of the questions asked and their answers which apparently were lies.Maxie Price just want to unload that camper no matter what n I have the proof and I just want a refund so I never have to deal with them again.
