My wife and I got in the market for a camping trailer and we wanted to work with a local RV dealer…read more We wanted to start building a relationship that would lead to a partnership, get expertise and see a variety of trailers without driving all over creation. Campers Inn RV is just a few miles from our house so that is where we began our search. I read several reviews and was a bit concerned about what our experience would be like. With a cautious outlook we made a trip over there about an hour before they closed on a Saturday. We were warmly greeted and quickly connected with our "RV Matchmaker" Kether Hassan. We ran well over their normal closing time and never felt like we were putting them out. Kether started by asking lots of questions to get a good idea of what we were looking for and what we were towing with. He then showed us several trailers. We ended up getting a price worked out on one of them and I told him and the sales manager that I needed to sleep on it. There were no pressure tactics deployed. I came back to them on Monday and said I wanted to keep looking and gave them some new specifics on what we were looking for. Turns out they had just taken receipt of a trade-in that matched those specifics. We looked at that and a few others that were similar. We were pretty sold on the one that had just arrived. It wasn't even in inventory or priced yet so the sales manager, Todd, got busy getting that sorted out. A little while later we had a price. I have a rule that I have to "sleep on" big purchases and they did not pressure me. Next day I still felt good about it so we went forward with the purchase. There was an item of negotiation and the sales team handled it well. I worked with Brett on the purchase papers and the following day I picked up the trailer. They have a service tech spend an hour (or more) with you doing a complete walkthrough, inspection and Q&A time. Chris from service was just a delight to work with. He found a few things during walk through that I would have never noticed and I found a few small things as well. He had those fixed within an hour. I had a hitch installed as well and Chris did an amazing job getting it leveled correctly and matched to my receiver. The camper was detailed and looked brand new. Kudos to the guys in the back that did that cleanup. On my tow away we discovered that my trucks 7 way hookup was wired incorrectly (factory wiring swapped the hot and the break controller wire....oops). Chris and Harley spent about an hour troubleshooting that (I did get charged labor for this, but that is ok...it was a problem with my truck, not their work). Armed with their discoveries and some of my own, I was able to repair my wiring the next morning and pick up the trailer. Bottom line: Great service and very friendly. Todd just took over a few months ago and I can see that he is trying to change the tone of this shop. They stayed late a few times during our engagement and never seemed bothered or tried to rush us. Communications were great. Give these guys a shot.

Tommys wife even called the bank and verified the check. I'm sorry but that sounds very suspicious to me. I have never heard of giving someone your money and leaving with no product and no guarantee that the product is yours. Tommy could have been upfront with my husband before he drove 2.5 hours to pick up the travel trailer. Or worked with my husband and his wife who again verified the check since he knew my husband drove 2.5 hours to do business! Oh but Tommy says he can't please everyone and it's not him it's the customers (that's what his face book says)

They had absolutely no business practices to accommodate money transfer. They said they could not process a credit card, no Pay Pal, no wire transfer and would not accept a Cashiers Check as cash. Without notice, while we thought they were trying to accommodate this, they sold the camper to someone else. Our guess is they got a higher offer. Very poor business practices and unclear communication. Buyer Beware!

The title had a different year than the contract and it was unwarrantable. We contacted the bank who did an investigation. the bank refunded us what we paid them but said we would have to get our down payment and storage fees back from TC. It isn't surprising they folded. I just found out that Camping World purchased TC. who knows if the bank debt ever got settled but certainly the debt to me did not and I still haven't registered the vehicle. Lien insurance provided by Tri County Insurance. National Auto Care of the South Insurance company canceled insurance , said they received the paper work but no check, so no warranty. Truist bank said they were not responsible for cutting a check. Camping World bought TravelCamp, after talking to them , they say their company is not responsible. So I'm another victim of the new world way of business! Looks like someone should be responsible for a purchased service that is written in a contract! Since the only option of a review is positive I can not recommend even a one! Looks like they should be a good scam layer willing to jump on this wagon and ride it to the rainbow! It's a layer run world these days, scam layers should be a wide open never ending field of work.
