I had a very disappointing experience at this chiropractic office. I was told I needed to pay 130 dollars upfront just to proceed. The way it was presented was not clear or transparent. Because of this lack of clarity, I chose not to move forward with treatment. I would not recommend this office to others based on my experience and would suggest they improve communication and transparency with new patients. Update in response to the business reply: At the time of my visit, the pricing and what was included were not clearly communicated upfront in a way that allowed me to fully understand the cost before being asked to proceed. My experience was that I had to ask multiple questions to get clarity. I also requested a brief conversation with the doctor before committing, but I was told his time was too valuable for that unless I completed the intake process and paid the required fee. In January I had a car accident and went to Dr. Tim to see how he could help. I consider the car accident a blessing in disguise. I knew I had degenerative disc disease as I had x-rays done by my GP about 2 years ago and had a cracking in my neck that brought on serious headaches. I was told by my physical therapist to do some exercises at home. These did not solve my issue in the least. After going to Dr. Tim for a couple of months, no more cracking and the x-rays show an improvement. I appreciated being able to see the X-rays as I've gone to other chiropractors and they worked on me without them. Each evaluation is thorough and detailed. Yes, there is a cost involved, but I keep saying that it's worth it (I'm worth it) because my neck hasn't felt this good in a long time! Additionally, Tasha (receptionist) is amazing! Dr. Tim basically lead me and my 12 year old daughter believe she had scoliosis and urgently needed X rays, which could be performed at her next appointment. Before his diagnosis I was hesitant to exposing her to unnecessary radiation, but after I was compelled to go through with the X rays to determine the severity of her deformity. (I know now this was to get me to commit to another appointment.) My daughter cried all night and had a tough time concentrating at school. My heart ached to see her in so much distress. I thought to myself, how could her primary care physician miss something this major? At our next appointment he conducted the X rays and all was fine. Just like that, no explanation, nothing... I was so confused how Dr. Tim could make such grave misdiagnosis? I was relieved to learn she was ok and infuriated at the suffering my child endured to just to make a sell. After the appointment I called Dr. Tim to further discuss the misdiagnosis and its impact on my daughter. He had the nerve to tell me my daughter was too sensitive. I would recommend Dr. Tim to everyone. I started seeming him after a car accident in December of 2020. My lower back pain was a constant 10/10 with nerve pain going down my left leg. After my first week of adjustments I felt relief where the pain was manageable. Fast forward 3 months later to this review I finished my treatment with him, and I feel much better. TL;DR Great place that helps with pain and treats the problem, not JUST the symptoms. I woke up one day with tightness/pain across my upper back and neck that severely limited my motion. I found Maximize online (close to my office) and called for an appointment expecting a one-stop adjustment and then to be sent out the door with at least some relief. Instead (and thankfully), I was met with Dr. Tim's focus on tackling his patient's underlying causes for their problems, rather than just temporary relief. He performed x-rays and found I was harboring an injury in my neck (not my back as I had expected when I walked in), and something mundane had triggered the recent flare up. He walked me through the x-rays and explained exactly what was physically happening in my body (vs what should be happening) which was a HUGE help to me at making me more comfortable and confident with the treatment. I have known Tim since he first started his business. He's become more innovative and expanded his wellness programs year in and year out. He and his beautiful family live and breathe health and fitness. That being said I was recently in an accident. I had been neglecting my chiropractic adjustments and I was a mess when I came in to his office. I'm a gym owner and a professional athlete so I know my stuff. First and foremost, I must say that Dr. Tim's friendly and outgoing personality are the best way to start a visit. As person who had never been aligned before, I was extremely nervous (and scared) that something would happen. I even went as far as asking Dr. Tim, "If I flinch while you are aligning me, will I break my own neck be paralyzed!?" (yes I am that person). Dr. Tim very kindly assured me that there was no need to be so worried and that he would walk me step by step through every process he would be doing. What? A doctor who actually wants to educate you to the fullest? PERFECT! After doing the intial x-rays, Dr. Tim was able to show me why I was in so much pain and discomfort. As well as, show exactly what would be done in order to correct the situation. This not only made me feel more comfortable with being aligned, but it also made me feel more educated about what was going on with my body (huge plus!). Dr. Tim then aligned me and made sure to let me know exactly what he was doing the whole time. I don't regularly leave reviews, but had to just comment that I had an amazing experience with Dr. Tim! I am in my twenties and I am very health conscious, both with exercising regularly and eating healthy. Recently though (past 6 months or so), I've been having issues with my neck from being on the computer so much and some other issues, as I work from my computer all day long. Despite my attempts at keeping good posture and taking regular breaks, nothing seemed to relieve my neck pain. I went in to see Dr. Tim and he was very helpful and extremely passionate about what he does. He has so much knowledge about his profession and he really goes above and beyond to educate you, which I really appreciated. He's also very knowledgable on natural health in general, as well. I've also been into natural health myself for some time, and his advice is dead on with what I have studied in that regard. What I was blown away with was how necessary seeing a good chiropractor is. Here Iv'e been trying to eat healthy, exercise regularly, even do yoga to get rid of my neck issues, and after only one adjustment, I already started feeling better...even more than I do after taking a week long vacation away from my computer! Its truly amazing what his adjustment did for me in such a short period of time, although I'm sure I will need to have adjustments over time to re-educate my spine/ muscles, to have more long term relief. Suffices to say, I am hooked! I also really liked that he has an approach to chiropractic care that uses X-rays, which seems to offer a much more objective nature to the adjustments. As an online business owner myself, I know that the groupon crowd are usually people who aren't interested in the end product, just the perceived deal, which causes impulse buys. I guess it started when I tried to call at about 9:15 and no one answer the phone. So I decided to walk-in since it was about a mile away from my house. I arrived and there was loud music going on and someone was walking up from the back. I told her that my insurance had recommended them and was wondering if I could get an appointment for an x-ray and then come back for treatment. She informed me that there was $130 fee until she could verify my insurance coverage which could take 24 to 48 hours and that the fee could be applied to future services. I explain that it didn't seem fair to pay 130 when I knew my co-pay was 40 just so they can figure out what my coverage was. Especially since I could do that from my phone in just a minute or two. Seems like a nice way to ensure that I will be spending that money with them. Nice marketing ploy. I'm glad I looked at the other reviews before entering and glad that I chose to go somewhere else. Just a follow-up. As I was writing this review in my car the owner came out was very nice talk to me explain that the receptionist was new and gave me some recommendations for other chiropractic offices if I didn't feel comfortable with theirs. Nice guy seemed genuine. But billing and Financial matters are part of running a business and I just don't feel comfortable that things will work out financially especially considering the other Yelp reviews read more

Although Dr. Tim and his Secretary were very polite, and I believe that they had a general interest in helping me. I had reservations about posting this review because this office was so friendly and nice. After quite a bit on consideration, I feel that it would be irresponsible for me not to share my experience with people interested in seeking treatment from this office. I have to recommend that people do not seek treatment from this establishment. I purchased a Groupon (2 adjustments and X-ray) for $49.99, what a smoking deal. I had recently slept wrong and my neck hurt for a while, I am on a budget and needed a couple adjustments to get back on track. 1st visit: My initial observation is that Dr. Tim is trying to treat too many people at once. He swiftly moves through people's adjustments taking roughly 5-10 per person. There is no privacy here just a partition that separates the adjustment area from the waiting room. I get my consultation 45 min after my initial appointment. He takes X-rays only for the first day no adjustment. 2nd visit: He is again trying to serve too many people and my appointment was 30 min behind. This is where he tells me I am in grave danger and have early stages of arthritis in my neck and have a reverse curve. He adjusts me and puts me on a vibration plate for 3 min with a head weight to help re-align. Then takes more x-rays with the head weight on to compare against my first X-ray. He schedules my second adjustment along with a group meeting to " learn" how to read my X-rays, and a private consultation to review my results and discuss treatment options. 3rd visit: My overall impression is that Dr. Tim is chronically behind schedule, about 20min late this time. He adjusts me and the group meeting that was scheduled a 2pm starts at 2:30 pm. This is where the most alarming part happened. This half hour long session that I was told was to teach us how to read our X-rays was nothing of the sort. It was a "snake oil" Con-Man style speech he says that we were all going to suffer horrific consequences if we did not begin "corrective" chiropractic treatment with him. He said that we faced heart failure, digestive problems, irregular thyroid, hearing, and vision loss. He no joke, said that God made our bodies to live 120 years and if you did not sign up that you did not care about your health. After the fear mongering demonstration was over he took me in first to go over my results and his care plan for me. My Care Plan: $2,170.00 4 weeks of 3 adjustments per week 16 weeks of 2 adjustments per week And a final 4 weeks of 1 adjustment per week He was only interested in me signing a contract for all the visits with monthly payment plan for 6 months. They offered a 12 month payment plan later. Him and his secretary repeatedly said, "If you walk out of this office today and do not make a commitment you do not care about your health, and no one ever comes back." Uh duh, no one ever comes back, because it's a scam! And if no one ever comes back, that's a good indicator to me that something is wrong. I was so stressed out and overwhelmed I almost signed up. When committing to spending a couple thousand of dollars, ITS ALWAYS A RESPONSIBLE IDEA NOT TO BE IMPULSIVE, it is ridiculous that they try and pressure you to make a decision like that in a half hour. Dr. Tim told me that no one with a neck like mine lives past the age of 65. I was scared and stressed and sick to my stomach. After I left I did a little research and discovered that the theory of subluxation is wildly debated in the Chiropractic field and that just that word alone is an indicator of chiropractic to avoid. It is unethical to charge for a 6months of visits or force a contract on someone as you CAN NOT know how many treatments will be needed. I feel very bad for the people that feel for this, as I consider myself a very educated person, and almost took the bait. I am thankful that I trusted my gut and got out of there when I did. I would not recommend this place. It is disgraceful to scare and take advantage of people's fears for monetary gain. He has so many people coming to him under these care plans, and in such a hurry trying to get as many people in at once. I am afraid that he is rushing his practice and could actually end up hurting someone. I have been going to a chiropractor for ~20 years (Father in Law and Brother in Law are great Chiropractors) and Dr. Tim has the skill set, adjustment prowess, and chiropractic know-how to help you with any and all of your ailments. In addition to the great adjustments, Dr. Tim is also focused on teaching you how you can improve your life and the choices your making that may be impacting you in a negative way (diet, exercise...etc.). He has a ton of clinics and learning opportunities available, but doesn't overly push them on you like other chiropractors. Dr. Tim is a miracle worker for our infant daughter. I searched all over for pediatric chiropractic services and stumbled upon him. I went in for a consultation and appreciated his honesty, professionalism, and through information when answering all of our questions. He walked us through each procedure prior to performing them on our daughter, which was very much appreciated due to the fact that she was only two and four months at the time. Our daughter was having trouble with spitting up and crying in her car seat. We tried everything to comfort her but nothing seemed to work. Our car ride over was long (45 minutes) and difficult on the way there, then following our first alignment, our daughter was coping and smiling the entire ride back. I'm in absolute awe of how much Dr. Time has helped us. My husband is even considering going for his own alignment. We are absolutely pleased with him and all he has to offer.
