Emo Night!!!! Every emo anthem was played! We picked this place as it was one of the only restaurants that were open at night. We had just arrived into town and were hungry. There weren't any vegan items so I did the best I could. I asked for a flatbread without cheese. We got drinks but they weren't really strong. Overall we loved having emo night and a meal to eat. They also had games in the back to play, which we got. It was a great night! We did try to go back the next day, but there was a cover, so we decided to go to another bar instead. This was a cool place to go and I highly recommend!

Sunday Funday at this local dive bar did not disappoint. We snagged seats right at the bar so we could get the local experience. Mom and Dad started with a round of cocktails, then moved on to some local beers while I people-watched from my spot on the floor. This place has such a cool, unique history and the bartenders shared all the details. We were killing time waiting for a storm to pass, and this turned out to be the perfect spot to wait it out. Don't let the other bad reviews scare you, this place is epic.

1 star for service, 3 stars for quality. It was a Sunday night and they weren't busy. I asked the bartender for a water a few times, but I never got it. I ordered the pepperoni and sausage flatbread. They made it for me about 10 minutes until 10. The kitchen closes at 10, so I was happy they did this. The kitchen adds one star from the zero stars that the bartender gets. Word to the wise to other tourists: this is a local dive bar that seemed to have more of the LGBTQ crowd, so that could be why there is such lousy service here compared to the rest of the strip.

Fantastic vibes, great people, good drinks and delicious food! Everything a local bar needs to be relevant. This is a good place to hangout any time of day, cuz it's dark and cool and you never know what it's like outside, kinda like Las Vegas lol!!! Great drinks and yummy food served by pretty people, come on down and have fun!!

We came here after weather conditions had canceled our reservation some where else. It was freezing outside but Maxine's was warm, full of the best vibes and even better food. I still dream about the pizza. A perfect deep dish. Lots of cheese, not overly saucy and the crust was literally perfection.

Ok. So first off this is a dive bar in the best sense. Normal hours are far later than this old man is awake, and most of the customers are old enough to be my grandkids. But on Sundays, they open at NOON. Old people rejoice. The bar area is the coolest place to sit, as the rest is even more rough around the edges. Bartenders are great and they make likely one of the most amazing full meal loaded Bloody Mary's. ( no need to order food with this one! ) The history of this former brothel should be enough to bring you in. For pizza, their deep dish is the real deal Chicago style. It takes a bit to be prepared, but that sucker is 3-5 lbs of goodness when it arrives. Be hungry. Starter salad was huge and more than enough for 2-3 to share. Just go. Step outside the chain restaurant monopolies, and into something really unique in Hot Springs.

We really enjoyed Maxine's. Not only is it a non pretentious bar but they serve an awesome deep dish pizza. They were short on staff but who isn't these days. Can't wait to come back the next time we're in town for the races.

Was not expecting a drag show when we arrived. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to enjoy it but it was a very fun time. The people and performers were so friendly and down to earth! For anyone who has a gripe towards drag, visit and have your mind changed. Mine was! Love y'all!

Deep Dish Pizza. I don't even like deep dish pizza. I like thin crust pizza. But son! This place. It's fire. Do it. Just do it. They not your doctor they your chef. Bar tender was on top of his game. 5 from me. I would do it again.

Maxine is everything you need out of a bar, they have food they have cocktails and they have a live venue in the back. You walk in and feel transported to a buesque show. I was absolutely obsessed with it. There is art all over the walls in this place, every single inch is covered. We had a great time stopping in for the Sunday happy hour. They had $10 loaded bloody Mary's as well as five dollar mimosas. We ended up going back later that night for the 9 PM karaoke. If I ever come back to visit, I will definitely be stopping by for a cocktail and hopefully a show.

Located across the street from Bathhouse Row, the Ohio Club has had a long history in this town, having served gangsers, famous baseball players, and other celebrities. I can see why...I mean, they like great food and good drinks just as much as everyone else! The atmosphere is off-the-charts incredible and feels as if one is stepping back in time to 1920s America. Combine this with an amazing food menu and incredible drink selection, and you've got one helluva experience! Service was stellar...friendly and prompt. She was also very helpful with menu selections and drink choices, knowing exactly where to steer two virgins of the Ohio Club experience. We chose to share the Reuben, which was a great choice because it was so big. For drinks, we opted for the Ohio Rum Sour and Berry Ohio...never looking back as they were both delicious! We always strike-up an interesting conversation with people sitting at the bar. Several local beers on tap and we had the Space Force, an IPA, on both visits....very good. The bartenders are always friendly and will talk if time allows. The whole place has a great vibe. Speaking of the okra, I noticed that on my bill I was charged $13 and change for it. I thought WOW, but gladly paid the bill. The more I thought about it, I figgered it must be an error. On our second trip, I mentioned it to the bartender and asked if it were possibly an error. It was an error and she asked me how to make it right (there was a logical explanation for the error). I made it clear that I was not complaining, just wanting clarification. She asked if a complimentary order of fried okra was OK....certainly! Great place and a Hot Springs icon. Highly recommend and dont skip it.

We kept it in our sites as we descended, and found it to be on the 6th floor of the Avenue Hotel. Its outdoor seating area was lovely. On one side you're just in the tree tops. The other side looks over an underwhelming cityscape, but that's not Rooftop's fault. It's still just nice to be on a rooftop! It started to rain not long after we arrived. We moved under the patio cover, and that was a lovely way to watch and hear the rain until the wind really picked up and we moved inside. It was only around 4pm so we both ordered the mocktail on the menu. It's the only one and pretty simple, but it was quite delicious -- muddled strawberry and 7up. I bet it would be even better with Ginger Beer! Maybe a little high in price for the small size and no booze, but oh well. As the rain continued, we decided to share an appetizer to wait it out. We ordered an olive hummus which was surprisingly decent (I'm not an olive fan normally) with pita chips. I wasn't a huge fan of the pita chips, but they served as a perfectly fine delivery mechanism for said hummus. The staff there was really nice and seemed to get along and share duties well -- in a small place you notice things like that and it made an impression.
