This is my wife and I's go to brunch spot with amazing cocktails when visiting Hot Springs! This St. Patrick's day didn't disappoint! The leprechaun lemon drop martini was delicious beyond words and even after brunch we would pop back in through out the day of festivities to refuel on them! They stayed open until 11pm and very close walking distance to The Arlington Hotel after the bar closes. Dena is an EXCELLENT AND AMAZING server we absolutely love to have wait on us and her joyful presence. She remembered my wife and I from last years visit and was so, sweet and amazing. Everytime we come back we will look forward to seeing her and her outstanding service! This is a MUST for brunch when in Hot Springs! This is a nice hotel restaurant option. It was highly recommended by the front desk and it is great to have a place within walking distance of the Curio Collection hotel. It was lively on a Monday evening because a work event was being hosted. I ordered a Caesar salad and the chicken entree, which took a bit of time to come out due to the large group. This was fine with me. Once the food was ready, the salad and entree were brought out together. I would have preferred the salad first with the entree held in the back, but I was hungry so I didn't say anything and enjoyed the salad right away. The Caesar salad was simple and the Southern Chicken really hit the spot. It was comfort food at its finest and I found myself wishing I had a bit more. I highly recommend this entree. read more

Stayed at the Waters Hot Springs, Tapestry Collection by Hilton for a week and spent many mornings for breakfast here. The restaurant never seemed to be full, but I will say that the food and service stayed consistently great. Always came around to check up on how I was doing and refilled my water and coffee. They even gave me a to-go coffee cup when I wanted to take it back up to my room. They did the same for when I wanted to bring my iced tea back up too. THE FOOD. - Classic Eggs Benny | Thick slice of ham. Creamy Hollandaise sauce. Perfectly poached eggs all on an English muffin. Pretty great dish! - Classic Breakfast | Eggs, sausage patties, toast, and home fries. I cannot stress this enough... the home fries are so good! Crispy exterior with a soft interior, and seasoned just enough to bring out the flavors. If you get another dish and it doesn't come with home fries, order it on the side anyway. - Mediterranean Eggs Benny | There's no meat in this dish, but I love the combination of spinach, artichoke, tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese. A couple of poached eggs covered with hollandaise sauce and you have yourself a flavorful dish! I ordered this maybe 3 times during my stay. It's really good, highly recommend. - Avenue Omelette | Cubed cuts of tender ribeye. Diced sweet peppers and onions. The garlic aioli goes well with this omelette. I also liked that this was crepe style, which tends to be a thinner layer of egg. - Grown Up Grilled Cheese Sandwich | Gooey cheese with thick slices of bacon in between toasted bread. I felt this was very rich and loved the flavors. - Birria Chilaquiles | Creamy chipotle sauce. Tender birria meat. Over hard eggs. Another really great dish. THE DRINKS DRUNK. - Coffee | Straightforward and warms your soul. - Iced Tea | Straight up normal. THE PARKING. Parking is available on the street and limited to two hours, between 8AM - 5PM. If you're staying at the hotel, only valet parking is available and it's $15 for the day; $30 if you're staying overnight. COMING BACK? Yeah, it's a pretty great breakfast spot. read more

Went for dinner one evening and for breakfast on the last day of our stay in HS. The food was good but they must've had just one person working in the kitchen for dinner as our food took a really long time to come out but breakfast was served much more quickly. The restaurant has a stand with their menu on it outside and a sign advertising their brunch and dinner hours. Our experience was so poor that as we were sitting there and people were walking up looking at the menu deciding whether or not to come in, we were rooting for them to keep walking so they wouldn't have the same experience we did. We eat out regularly and cannot recall another restaurant we've been to where they proactively tried not to serve you. We have come here a handful of times hoping our experience will be different than the time before but unfortunately it is consistently bad every time. I really tried. The food , so called eggs Benedict. eventually showed up after 30 minutes. Salted beyond recognition and overcooked or having sat under a heat lamp for a long time, it was inedible. Part of The Waters hotel in downtown Hot Springs. I had a fantastic breakfast here. Eggs Benedict on point with super runny yolks, tasty ham, and toasted muffin. Home fries seasoned and crispy. My server was fantastic. She was not only kind and attentive, but made a WICKED spicy Bloody Mary that was delicious. They have a simple, but fairly elegant menu for each meal, including brunch, and some great cocktail options. There is a rooftop bar with light fare as well if you want before or after dinner drinks. I stayed at The Waters, and it was a great hotel, walking distance to everything, and this restaurant was a convenient and well done addition to my short stay. read more

Hotel restaurants are hit and miss, but The Avenue has a solid menu and service within convenient walking distance from the lobby of the Hilton on the downtown strip of Hot Springs. Weirdly, we walked into The Avenue in the morning and tried to order a latte and they said they did not have an espresso machine. Maybe I've lived in Dallas / Fort Worth too long, but this seemed like a massive oversight. The menu looked good though, so we returned for lunch the following day. I had the Shrimp and Grits and, while it was not at the level of American (New) greats like Breadwinners Cafe in Dallas, it was quite yummy. More dependent on a brown gravy, the dish was sufficiently shrimpy and worked on a filling comfort food level. Service was strong and the room was never super full. We passed by several times and always found it to have seating available. If you're staying at the Hilton, recommend. If you aren't, you might still find something here to enjoy! read more

Surprisingly, there was no wait around 11am. We were promptly seated and brought a mimosa carafe. The food did take a very long time to be brought out, maybe 30-45 minutes, but we weren't in a rush anyway. The food was AMAZING once it did come out, so I had to still offer 5 stars. When you have to stare at employees standing around talking, while getting ZERO service, and they do everything they can to not make eye contact, it's an embarrassment (we were seated, and after more then 15 minutes were never spoken too and another table was seated 10 minutes later and got waters and ordered food while we were still waiting for the first person to speak to us) . I wish I was a vulgar, outspoken patron that would have stood up and made a scene, but that is wholly unfair to the other customers that are paying for their meal. This is the first time I have ever stood up and walked out of a restaurant. Great spot that is a it hidden from view given where it is in between the Ohio and the Waters Hotel. We couldn't go in next door as the kids had to be 10. Nice place downtown Hot Springs. Ordered a French dip, chicken dish and a prime rib. Prime rib and the French dip were great . The chicken wasn't my favorites but taste was good. It's like an airline chicken with bone in. I tend to prefer a skinless breast . Had a good herb flavor though. We had a beer and a blue martini.... Very yummy! Service was great and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice bar area to sit if you just want a cocktail. They are a part of a nice hotel and some nights have a fun rooftop bar to sit outside or inside. There was live music which was very nice too. We ordered a bourbon cream pie for dessert. It was smooth ice cream with a hint of sweet bourbon and a crumbly crust. Relaxed atmosphere for a quiet dinner for 2 or a place to meet up with friends. One of the few times I wish I could rate with zero stars. I was in a hurry and planned to get to breakfast the moment this place opened, so I could stay on schedule. They opened 10 minutes late, and then after sitting for several minutes after placing my order, I was told that they wouldn't have the kitchen open for another 30 minutes! Another table there was as frustrated as I was, and we all left and went down the street to another place.
