You walk in and your immediately transported into the 20s. Very cool atmosphere which is a good thing because we did have to wait a while before we were greeted. It is very dim throughout the bar but luckily their menus light up. I thought this was kind of a cool feature and it definitely helped with looking at the menu. I ended up ordering an espresso martini, it wasn't sweet whatsoever. The bartender was nice enough to bring me over a little simple syrup to help, but it didn't really change anything. we also were informed that there was an additional tax on the alcohol. We didn't come across this at any other bar in Hot Springs. So expect to spend about $25-$30 per drink here. Very cute place but I do not think I will be back due to the expensive tab.

This was one of the coolest places we went to in Hot Springs. We popped in after going to dinner at the Vault (which is the restaurant on the first floor of the building.) The ambiance transports you back to a different time with old unique furniture, live music, and cool brick. The drinks were a little pricy but good and we enjoyed just being in the atmosphere. We came here two nights in a row, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The drinks, service, and music were great. However, we were extremely disappointed in our service the second night. They weren't even that busy but it took us an hour to get service between rounds. We were sitting in one of the private rooms right at the entrance of the bar and this might have been why we were so forgotten about. This second experience honestly left a bad taste in our mouth but I am still giving five stars because of its uniqueness and the fun vibe. Also keep in mind there is an outrageous hard alcohol tax so keep that in mind for when you get your bill lol

After having a few drinks at the Vault and talking with one of the bartenders, we learned about the Heist. The Heist is fairly new, having been open for just two months and is directly above the Vault - there's a theme here, lol. The Heist is a gorgeous bar and we enjoyed talking with the bartenders there as well. It's feels a bit out of place in Hot Springs, as the city seems to be earnestly struggling and is quite broken down in many areas. The Heist felt pretentious, particularly as my guy was told he couldn't wear his ball cap into the bar. No food here, this was a bar. And, downstairs where the atmosphere was identical, no issue. The Heist would fit in seamlessly where we're from - a big city but it was a little ridiculous in Hot Springs. That aside, the drinks were good overall. My partner is a whisky connoisseur and requested a traditionally made Old Fashioned after having their version. The bartender, Peter, was very accommodating and kind. I had their Great Gatsby. Also very good. We were in town for the weekend and would likely return, probably still wearing a ball cap. Maybe this "rule" will be relaxed and more in line with the rest of the "Spa City."

This place is phenomenal. The vibe is perfect if you are stressed and need a deep breath. The lighting is perfect. The music is smooth and just the right volume. The bartenders are chill. Drinks are well priced. The Sri Js cost a little more than the pubs in the area, but the ingredients are top notch. $15 is the highest cocktail. Bulleit is the well bourbon. If you are looking for a place to unwind after a long day or a night cap after dinner, this is the best spot in Hot Springs.

Great service and wonderful cocktails. Nice little cubbies if you want to be alone or lounge areas if you want to be around others.

It's the kind of place you could and would want to be a regular at if you lived nearby. I want to be a regular, and I live 500 miles away. But you can bet when I'm heading that way, I'm stopping in again. I had skipped lunch and was really hungry, but didn't want to get something real heavy either, and I though I had "sort of" done that. I was totaly wrong. Blue Crab Ravioli in an artichoke/spinache alfredo sauce, topped with toasted/roasted mozzarella... I know what you're thinking, cream sauce and cheese? How is that light you knucklehead? Well, I was thinking that ravioli, usually served with 4-6 pieces would be just drizzled in this topping. NOPE. Scalding hot cast iron skillet loaded with ravioli, in that heavy, cheese/cream sauce. But here's how good it was. I took half to go, and had 1/4 of that when I got home 2 days later (always carry a cooler bag kids...) Then I had the remainder for lunch one day. Best ravioli I've ever had, and I want to be Italian and have had a lot of pasta in my life. I sat at the bar, and when people sat down around me, we all started talking. It's that kind of place. It's also dark, dank, gritty, and it's character shows in every space. Did I mention the great tunes? Yep... music right up my alley. Food, drinks, music, vibes... Yeah, 10 - 10 would go back again. And again.

Mom and Dad started with a round of cocktails, then moved on to some local beers while I people-watched from my spot on the floor. This place has such a cool, unique history and the bartenders shared all the details. We were killing time waiting for a storm to pass, and this turned out to be the perfect spot to wait it out. Don't let the other bad reviews scare you, this place is epic.

The Carne Asada was good but the steak was grainy and a bit overdone (what is with the ton of onions all over everything) but the plate was good overall! Mezcal was awesome as well. We come yearly to Hot Springs and this is our first stop for dinner each time. Very much worthwhile!

It's not puréed to oblivion, but is full of chunks of avocado. The food always comes out hot and in a pleasing display. We are impressed with the variety of taco offerings, but have also ordered sandwiches, nachos, chimichangas, and burritos. The portions are always large and we always take home leftovers. Lots of people don't like that they charge for chips and sals, but their location makes it tempting to grab a drink and free apps and then eat dinner somewhere else. They have to pay staff and cover food costs too. My recommendation is the margarita flight-tropical, peach, jalapeño, and watermelon. I'm also a huge fan of the Quesabirrias, but the beef barbacoa and Al pastor street tacos are also great. The Diablos Nachos will make a meal for two. It pleases ages 10-50 every time!

The restaurant itself is located in a historic brewhouse. With all of that being said... you can certainly expect a wait, especially during peak hours. For our party of three at about 11 on a weekday during the middle of spring break, it was about an hour wait. Thankfully, it wasn't too big of a problem. We still had some parts of Bathhouse Row that we had to explore. When there was a spot available, we got the notification through text. We headed on over. We were seated at a table right behind the host. It was shared with another pair but there was enough room so it wasn't too much of a problem. Usually, we don't drink. However, because of the uniqueness of this place, we just had to try. We aren't built for the Beer Bath that allows you to sample all 18 beers on tap. Instead, we opted for the flight which was more than enough for us. I'll be honest... I can't tell the difference at all between the different beers. Nevertheless, that speaks more to my inexperienced beer palate. The four taps that we got were all tasty and lasted us through the meal. For starter, we got the fried cauliflower. Crispy exterior that made our daily veggie intake that much more delicious. Paired very well with ranch. For main, I got Rose's Burger. The bacon jam provided a good amount of sweetness that was balanced by some of the spice from the pepperjack cheese and the savoriness of the burger itself. My mom got the reuben sandwhich. It was standard. My dad got the steak sandwich - it's basically a philly cheese. I thought it was particularly good especially since they use beer cheese made in-house. In terms of serivce, I will say that it was slow at times. However, as mentioned, this place is incredibly busy so definitely gotta give them some grace. In the future, I'd definitely come back again given the quality and uniqueness of Superior Bathhouse

We were a party of 2 that happened to arrive the same time as a party of 8-10 around 8pm. It was dark and our table wasn't really set up for service: there was no night lamp on the table to read the menu and it took forever to get napkins and silverware. We ordered hamburgers, fries and beer. Food was meh. Fries were cold and burger was mediocre at best. We still left a significant tip bc we truly talking w/our server, a Hot Springs local, who ultimately made our experience pleasant. It's nice to sit outside on the patio if the weather is nice. Indoors is loud.
