Without any explanation or questions, my masseuse went right into it which I was fine with since I had been in need for a major back massage, just thought she'd ask me any pain or sensitivity areas, but none. The Deep Tissue massage was affected for me- I had been dealing with chronic back pain for sometime and felt immediate results. My favorite part were the hot stones (which I forgot about), so it was quite a nice surprised when she placed them in my body. My overall experience was pleasant. Ty staff. I'll be back. read more

Visited the new location, as I had been to the old one a couple of times. They really got everything running and put together in time considering how recently they changed locations. The massage was great, lights were dim, and overall very calming environment. Felt great right after, they really helped with the knots in the upper shoulder, if you want more intense pressure, make sure to let them know. Will definitely be coming again for more especially with their discount. The sauna treatment was also nice, same one as the old location. However I believe they are still doing some construction, therefore the room can be put together and cleaned a little bit more. But it does not affect the sauna experience itself. The only thing was the bathroom/shower room isn't as nice as the original location. I understand that they are just settling in and the facility is different. I hope they get the opportunity to remodel it nicely similar to the style and size of the original location. It has the potential to be cleaned up nicer, with more amenities like large towels and a hair dryer. Definitely check out the new location, we were happy to support and hope to see the final results of the place once they completely settle in. Didn't mention this in my other review, but the prices were great. It would be cool if they offered some sort of membership or discount for frequent customers. read more

After dropping off my car next to this shopping center, came across this massage place and decided to give a shot. I didn't have to wait. I had Deep Tissue for 60 mins/ $65 dollars. They will ask u to choose the level of pressure. Deep tissue is from 5 to 7 (the max). My masseuse is Lisa who speaks Chinese but not much of English. ( if you don't speak Chinese, they do have a small sheet to help you communicate) I speak Chinese so had no issue. She has great skills with very firm pressure as I wanted. When she started, she did confirm with me if the pressure was okay. The whole environment is relaxing and I'm happy with her technique. Firm but not rough. She said she learned it from Chinese med professionals back in China! I would recommend her. The only little complain I had was they have surcharge $2 if you use the credit card. I wasn't informed by the front desk when I walked in and asked if I could use the credit card since many massage places prefer cash over credit card. Would be nice to be informed the surcharge ahead of time when I asked before hand. read more

I was able to book for same day a few hours out online. They took me at the last slot available at 8 pm. I'm so grateful. I requested deep tissue and Cindy did an amazing job on me. I didn't have a lot of crackles (thankfully) but definitely had tight upper and lower trapezoid muscles and she immediately started with the rhombus after doing a sheet assessment on my back. She also went after my triceps and brachial muscles, which was soooo nice. Also did a great job with my calf muscles. It was very quiet and clean and I loved the ambiance of the space. Excellent deep tissue massages here and their availability is outstanding. Perfect place if you're craving a massage without reservations. I love the 90 minutes deep tissue with hot stone massage. The massage starts with a lady walking on my back. Then she oils me up and uses her elbow and forearms to get deep into the muscles. My husband got me a gift certificate to try this very clean and pretty spa! I love Thai massage, so I was super excited for my 90 minute session. Scheduling my appointment was super simple (they were even willing to take me back right then and there if I had the time!) and when I did arrive for my appointment, I was taken back to a room right away. The facility itself is pretty spotless and smells great. My masseuse was a woman of very few words, but I really like to just zone out and enjoy the massage, so I didn't mind that at all. The massage itself was deep and thorough, exactly what I was hoping for. At certain points I could hear other staff talking loudly and laughing outside the door, but it's fine -- I have a toddler so I don't need dead quiet to relax. Overall, I would very happily be back for more, and to try some of their other services too, like a facial or a scrub! Prices are so reasonable, it seems like an achievable monthly luxury. read more

Came here 3 times and I requested Cici as my masseuse. She is amazing and she puts in her best effort. During my session, she would use her body weight for harder compression. Just moved within the area, and wanted to treat one of my friends that had helped with this long and tiresome move. So we looked up some places in the area and found MaxRelax Spa. So ecstatic that I did because my friend and I had the best massage! We checked in and recieved the $40 combination massage/reflexology. Such a clean and nice establishment. Loved how they had us choose from 1-10 on pressure beforehand. Unfortunately, did not receive the name of the masseuse's names. My masseuse did a wonderful job in my back and will definitely be coming back. Associate working the front desk was also very kind. Side note: It's unfortunate to read some reviews and seeing some people get a hissy fit over the idea of tipping. You are receiving a service in which someone is using their skills and manual labor on. Your masseuse has spent at least an HOUR using manual labor to make sure you received the best SERVICE that there is. Personal opinion but always believe you should tip after receiving any kind of had manual service being beauty/esthethic, service industry, manual Auto labor, movers, etc. Sorry no one taught you to being empathetic and understanding of others hard work. On the contrary, I understand not tipping if iservices you recieved weren't up to par, but if you enjoyed the services show it. I booked a 90 minute couples massage here. I checked in and the person at the front desk calculated my total for the massage and collected payment first and asked if I would be tipping. It was an awkward interaction because I tip higher if I've enjoyed the experience but this was before I received any services. She saw me struggling to figure out how much to tip and offered to let me pay afterwards. I just decided to get payment over with because this entire interaction already felt awkward. Most places don't try collecting payment until after and this exact situation is probably why. We were taken to the massage room. It was a hot day and they didn't have any air-conditioning, so it was a bit uncomfortable. Then our massages started. For me, I felt like I was being rubbed down almost like I was receiving heavy petting. It didn't feel like any massage I had before. I am unsure if the masseuses here are licensed, I should have checked beforehand. A few minutes in I was tempted to ask for a shorter massage but I had prepaid, so I just waited for it to be over. Towards the end of it my masseuse and my husband's masseuse had a heated argument. Mine left the room angrily and my husband's apparently started giving a more aggressive massage afterwards. He is currently in pain in his back from the experience. Mine came back and they both seemed to rush the finish of the massage. I wanted to tell the lady at the front desk about my experience but the front desk had a line and my masseuse was hovering. Since I already paid, I walked out the door but got stopped, I thought I would be asked how the massage was, she just double checked that she collected money from me. Do not let the negative reviews deter you!! My husband and I went today to enjoy a couples 90 min massage and both of us walked out saying it was one of the best massages we have ever gotten!! Rooms and restrooms are extremely clean and nice, I saw some sauna rooms as well which also looked great. Parking can be tough during work hours as it shares a parking lot with Nektar and Starbucks, so plan a little extra time. We went on a Sunday and the lot was empty. They give a strong massage as requested. FYI if you're going to a massage place, you will need to take off everything but your underwear. It was just okay for me. This place is really clean and I so appreciate that. I didn't see licenses posted and I did ask if all treating therapists were licensed. The person I had didn't know what I was taking about when I mentioned specific ligaments and muscle groups - could be language barrier or simply didn't know. I won't go back because I want someone who knows the body muscles and ligaments so I feel confident they work out the knots and doesn't hurt or make my problems worse. This is a great place for a relaxing massage - if you're looking for something more specific to address needs, probably not ideal. Parking is bad at peak hours. I don't normally write reviews but this one, I just have to. I went last night with my brother around 650pm-7pm, I was placed in room #6. The lady that was massaging me wasn't that great. I requested light to medium but she was really pressing hard like she's going through something. Im more in pain now then when I came in. My shoulders are in pain specially my head/neck area which feel like bruised and fresh pimple at the same time. There's multiple bumps that were never there before. While the Spa is clean, that is about the only good thing it has going for it. It was one of the worst massages of my life. First, I walk in, the lady at the front seems confused why I was in there even though I made an appointment for 60 minute deep tissue massage with 30 minutes of hot stone massage not 2 hours earlier. This is the start of bad to follow. I walk in, there's no one at the front, just someone saying "hello" from another room, finally get figured out and put into a room and am told "you're in room 3." No instructions just in the room. I had to walk out and go back to the back room area to confirm undressing. The masseuse comes in after I get prepped and am on the table, for a deep tissue she barely applied any pressure, I said harder at least 4 times throughout the massage. Not only that, it was obvious my masseuse was texting on her phone for a good chunk of the massage, constant vibrating back and forth, one handed barely any actual pressure massaging. She spent what felt like 3 minutes straight uncomfortably gently rubbing one calf with one hand while texting with the other. I paid for 30 minutes of hot stone massage and got barely 10 minutes. Not only that, the hostess came into the room multiple times to talk with my masseuse without knocking, further stopping my massage. Music was inconsistently on and you could hear workers loudly talking to one another with the door closed. When I turned over and she started to massage my face, which was barely rubbing my forehead, she had her phone next to my head texting still with the vibrations. It wasn't until I said it was distracting that she finally put her phone away. The room was cold, I was shivering on the massage table with AC blasting, for a place you're supposed to relax in and let your muscle tension ease out, it shouldn't be cold. My appointment was at 7:30 and she wrapped up my massage at 8:49, after starting around 7:40. I definitely did not get what I paid for. I felt rushed in and out and like they didn't care about any service they were providing. read more
