We had never cleaned the roof in our 20+yrs of ownership and we have a giant oak tree that hangs over part of our roof. There was a LOT of accumulated moss/algae, as well as normal dirt, leaves, branches from years of inattention. In talking with Peter, before the job started, it was obvious how detail oriented, customer focused, and committed he was. Very responsive, transparent, positive. Our house has the nice looking Terra Cotta Spanish barrel tiles and over the years, combination of weather, moss, algae and dirt have altered the original looks to closer like ugly green, brown tiles! If these continued organic growth is not addressed, tile cracking and unnecessary weight is not ideal for any roof protection. After consulting with Peter of Maxx Eco Wash, he was confident that their certified soft wash systems will clean and restore the original looks. As we discussed, there are lots of other roof cleaning companies or claimed to be, that utilized high pressure washing method, which is not the proper way to remove the unwanted organic growth. There are limited companies that do this process, so do your diligence on researching company process methods. Peter and team arrived promptly on the scheduled day. They were great communicating and texting their estimate arrival time. Their company uniforms and custom soft washing truck with ladder racks were impressive as with the organized hose reels and tools in handling and managing the required solutions mixtures to clean and restore. He also cautioned that beside the cleaning process, there will be a modest bleach smell post work.
