I come here often for pedicures and manicures. Everyone is so personable and it's like family. My only complaint is the prices, I feel like they went up drastically out of nowhere. Also when they do foot massages most of the girls don't actually massage your feet it's mostly your leg (even after I ask them to focus on my feet). But anyways, I came here after having a stiff neck for a few days. I just wanted a simple 10 minute massage. There is a guy that I always see doing massages and I figured I'd try it out. He was AMAZING! He fit me into his schedule because he had an appointment coming in and I'm glad he did. I'm recommending him to everyone! And I made an appointment for next week! THIEVES!!!My best friend , my 10 year old daughter and myself all got pedicures that were 45$ each.My best friend's bill was 58$..My daughter and mine was 135$ .I did get the gel and French tip toes, which should of only been an extra 25$. We went back and pointed out why our bills were so high..We were told it was extra for cuticle removal and massage..Which , clearly in the menu.The pedicures come with both of those services.The lady in charge kept trying to say we were charged for a longer massage, which we were asked if we wanted a 10 min longer one, but we clearly said, no thank you. She gave us back 13 $ each and had the worst attitude on her face and acted as if we were bothering her..Honestly, 30 years of going to nail salons and not one time was I charged anything extra for something I wasnt asked or was aware of...Plus , I had to hold my own foot and pillow while the women was doing my pedicure ,because she said was to short. I have been coming to this place for years.. they are extremely friendly and personable everyone knows my name and no matter who does my nails I get the same treatment. I am never rushed and yes sometimes there is a wait but I have no problem waiting for an enjoyable me time. It is a bit costly but I am willing to pay to be pampered. read more

I saw this place a few times and figured I'd give it a try. There wasn't a long wait. In fact they sat me right down. I thought it was strange that they didn't have any price lists other then for facials. All I got done was a simple acrylic set. When she was done she said $65!! For an acrylic set that costs $30 anywhere else. She did NOTHING special, nothing extra and my nails looked like they would look anywhere else I've ever gone! I was shocked that they could charge that much especially that the location is in West Babylon (ShopRite shopping center) nothing fancy, not upscale. This place is WAY too expensive. It's not practical. No wonder nobody has ever mentioned Macy Nails to me. I'll never go back again. I gave 2 stars because they were quick and because my nails looked decent. read more

I have been going here for over 10 years and have always had amazing, personalized service. They know exactly what treatment I want, color etc. The owner Laura is so personable and has even given me free services after I gave birth to both of my children. I often add on a chair massage to take away a little of the stress of the week. I highly recommend this salon to everyone I know and they have all continued to go there. read more

I have been here about 5 times hoping that it would get better which it never does. I always get a pedicure with a ten minute massage and while the pedicure is fine the massages are so painful and aggressive that I almost fell out of the chair a couple times. They don't massage my legs they rub them like they're trying to start a camp fire. I have done their jelly pedicure I believe twice and it was okay but didn't really feel like it made my feet any softer or anything. It's like a factory in there and I see people coming in all the time saying they have appointments and then told they will have to wait another 15 minutes. The people here can be very rude, and they rush you. i call before i come in, they tell me theres no wait i come in and i am waiting for an hour. someone finally comes to start my pedicure and then says okay another girl will come over. Honesty the service was rushed through. My mother could done a better job doing the French manicure but stupid me wanted acrylics. The French looked so bad that when I got home I took it off and repainted them and I did a better job then she did and my hands shake. The nails look uneven and already look like the need fill in (got them not even a week ago). To top it off they make you pay the money before they paint the polish on. Ive never had such a rushed spa pedicure. It was the worst one I've ever had. Water was so hot on my feet as she rinsed them off and she knew it too. She asked me if it was hot and I said yeah it's too hot and just continued to rinse off with extremely hot water as she smiled. She spent maybe 15 min on me for a $35 pedicure. The biggest problem with this nail salon is that they are continually under staffed to the point that usually you have 4 to 5 people waiting before you. And up until today, that didn't bother me. Yet, during the visit I made today there was so many people I began with one tech and then five minutes in switched to Suzy. Suzy made it very clear she was not pleased to be doing my manicure/pedicure. She was almost aggressive to the point where my friend kept looking over to us curiously. Then at the end of the service she asked me why I had not given a tip for the girl who began my pedicure in the beginning of my visit. (Keep in mind, the girl who had begun my pedicure had only been sitting with me for maybe 5 minutes.) I felt incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed by being forced to give a tip and basically shamed in front of the entire salon. read more

Most expensive place in town and they'll chop your head off if you say they're expensive. Can't understand anyone in this place, but you sure can understand that they're making fun of you in their language. All the nail techs are extremely rude and belittle you as if you're stupid. Don't be fooled by the pretty decorations and atmosphere. This place is full of rude employees AND customers who will embarrass you and make you feel stupid. They charge you extra for every little thing, take advantage of people, and make up prices as they go. Go to Leon nails on little east neck road, or g nails in Babylon village. What an unprofessional place! I was going there for 6 years. One Sunday I went for a gel manicure and was there for 2 hours because the girl kept messing up. When all done the gel was literally peeling off. I quietly spoke to manager and said I am not paying for this Bc it's peeling off. She apologized and I paid for my pedicure AND tipped tht girl. I went back a week later and tht manager said I'm no longer welcome there Bc I didn't pay last time and complained. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! they did a horrible job and I was so nice about it too!!! I didn't even make a scene and nobody around me even heard the conversation that day!!!! What s terrible run place with really shitty people there. Oh!!! i'm not the type to leave bad yelp reviews, but my experience at Maxy Nails was horrible enough to do so. i'm not really particular about i get pedicures. i needed my toes done for my homecoming dance this weekend, so i went to maxy nails because their pedicures were the cheapest i knew of. i picked out the color i wanted & sat in the chair and the lady started working on me right away. it seemed as though she was rushing it, she barely scrubbed my legs with the exfoliator & was hurting me as she cut my toe nails. She put 3 layers of top coat over my nails and when i left after 20 minutes of drying, they got messed up because of how thick the polish was. i went back in & told them it needed to be fixed. after 10 more minutes of waiting, a lady came over to me & removed the polish that was messed up, and quickly started repainting it WITHOUT PUTTING A BASE COAT ! she put the second layer of polish before letting the first one dry, and after letting both coats dry for 5-10 seconds, she put a top coat on it so messy that it didn't even cover the whole nail. after leaving i inspected the rest of my toenails , just to find out that all of my toe nails weren't painted on the sides, and there was still old nail polish left on my nails. i will never go back here, i'd rather spend $20 on a good pedicure than a cheap, shitty pedicure. please save yourself & go somewhere else. read more

The absolute worst nail salon I have ever been to! I went for a mani/pedi when I asked the woman if she could fix my broken nail she threw the file at me and told me to do it myself I had already paid AND tipped bc she straight grabbed all the money out of my hand and counted it slipped singles in her draw and continued. I told her if I was going to do my own nails I would just do them at home and left. When I called to see if I can be reimbursed they hung up on me bc they said the manager was not in. I can not believe that anyone this had happened. All I can say is nail salons are a dime a dozen and this one is horrible I don't know how they are even in business. Terrible terrible terrible! My first mistake was continuing to come to this nail salon when I was let down every time just because of its convenient location to my house. However I will NEVER return again! The woman was so disrespectful I tried pointing out to her that the nail she was filing was completely slanted and not even at all so she threw the nail file at me and yelled "you do" so after I finished fixing all of my nails since she did such a terrible job I handed her back the file and she said "now happy?" With the biggest attitude and rolled her eyes. I got up and left. Sadly I had paid and tipped prior to this altercation. When I got home and told my husband he told me to get my money back since I had been for a mani/pedi that day for an event we were attending that night and now had no time to have my nails done else where.
