In addition, there are 4 or 5 people at the front desk who help you and advise you on the best places to go check out first. They help you by showing you were you are on the map and give you great suggestions. After a long travel they have nice restrooms to freshen up in. Also, there are several trolley tours where you would be able to meet up there and take around the city. There is a small fee for parking there.

WOW! Wonderful, wonderful place!…read more Visited for a friend's wedding, stayed two nights. My friend rented the entire place out so they were able to accommodate her weekend amazingly! If you choose this option, MAKE SURE you have a wedding planner! The Ballastone hosts were exceptional in allowing her wedding planner to move furniture around for the wedding and reception! I mean, they completely turned over the main sitting room for both the wedding and then again for the reception and had everything back where it was meant to go by the end of the evening. The Ballastone hosts were absolutely amazing, I think his name was Derek! He was SO hospitable, friendly and wonderful to talk to! He gave recommendations for places in the area to visit and was just overall a nice, friendly person! Also so accommodating! We had to store all our wine in their fridges. If you're hosting an event here, I would recommend ensuring you have an extra room for anything that will need to be stored at any given time. This is what worked out for this event and it was a life saver for storing extra wine, tables and chairs and decorations for before setting up the sitting room for the wedding and then also for switching out the sitting area for the reception! We used the room right behind the check in desk and it was PERFECT! The place itself is so cute and quaint, with a southern old-world charm. The way they decorate it for the Christmas holiday was absolutely GORGEOUS! The Inn itself and also the area surrounding is absolutely a gorgeous area for wedding photos! My friend got some amazing shots! I would love to visit here again and would definitely recommend as a bed and breakfast for any couple that wants a romantic getaway or even for an event!!!
