This was our first time staying at a B&B and if I could give a 10 rating I would. Megan and Jeremy asked when we made our reservations, as well as when we arrived, if we had any dietary restrictions. Her three course breakfasts alternated between sweet and savory. You could tell how much thought and effort went in to presentation, flavor and diversity. I loved the peach cream baked french toast so much I had to look up similar recipes so I can make it at home. There were always cold drinks in the mini fridge, ice in the cooler, water in a pitcher, snacks in a bowl and best of all something homemade every day. I can't decide if my favorite was the rocky road bars, or this chocolate peanut buttery rice crispy like dessert. We stayed in both the Sunrise Suite and the Starfish room because neither were available for all five days. Both are fantastic! Hot roomy showers, oh so comfy robes, soft sheets and towels, mattresses that were not too soft nor too hard, perfectly painted, and well chosen decor. The house has a covered porch on three sides so there are loungers in both the shade and in the sun by the pool. My favorite spot was the swing. The beach is a five minute walk away, not crowded at all, and made for long walks. I love to travel and try new places, but Surf Song on Tybee is a place I will look forward to returning to in the years to come. I wished we lived closer so we could visit several times a year. read more

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Surf Song! We were greeted warmly by the owner and shown to our room, which was the sunrise suite. It was rainy and cold all weekend but we didn't mind honestly because the room was so wonderful and cozy! There were indoor cushioned swings to lounge in, complimentary robes, and the linens were to die for. It was so quiet it felt like we were the only ones there, and we had the absolute best view! Breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed chatting with the owner, as she was super attentive, warm, and friendly. We enjoyed a cup of coffee on the porch swing before heading out for a walk on a the beach once the rain had cleared. We will absolutely be back to Surf Song for another stay in the near future! We cannot recommend it enough! read more

This is how a great Bed and Breakfast should be run. Gracious hosts, clean rooms, lots of extra touches (robes, snacks, sodas, coffee, beach towels and chairs) We love the Sunrise room which has a lot of extra room and a beautiful picture window to see both the sunrise and ships passing out of the Savannah harbor channel. And it is nice to be so close to the North Beach (300 steps). Thanks to hosts Jeremy and Megan for making a stay here so pleasant. read more

I visited Surf Song Bed and Breakfast in Tybee Island this past weekend. The owner, Megan, was delightful and welcoming and gave great suggestions for things to do on the island. I was greeted by her upon arrival and given homemade gluten-free brownies with walnuts (absolutely delicious) and coconut macaroons (my favorite)! My room was very clean with the softest sheets and robes I've felt in a long time. I was provided with a key to my room and the front door so that I could come as GI as I pleased. I loved the honey-fragranced hand soap and even ordered one of those spa robes from www.comphy.com! Breakfast, which consisted of three courses, was served every morning at 8:30am. Everything I ate was delicious and filling to fuel me for my day. I didn't take photos of the outside because it poured rain the entire weekend but I still enjoyed my restful stay here. I recommend it if you should visit the island. read more

We had a lovely stay with Megan and Jeremy in March. Megan goes out of her way to make guests comfortable and keep them well fed. She bent over backwards to have two seatings for breakfast to ensure all guests had plenty of room at breakfast. In addition she is happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The house is charming, the sheets are wonderfully soft, beds are comfy, bathrooms spotless and the pool is an awesome alternative to the beach which is a quick 2 minute walk. We personally loved the location away from the busier end of the beach. If you're looking for a relaxing stay this is your place! We will be back! read more

My wonderful husband planned this vacation get away for my birthday. It was my first time staying at a B&B and I absolutely loved Tybee Island. We parked our vehicle and either walked or biked around the island for a few days. Megan and Jeremy are great Inn Keepers, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Surf Song is a beautifully kept home and in a nice peaceful part of the island. Breakfasts were great and I loved having a nice cup of hot coffee on the porch in the mornings. We're looking forward to our next trip back. read more

The house is nice, rooms are nice and the only reason i am giving this place 2 stars. The owner / host was very rude. My wife and i stayed there for 4 nights for our honeymoon. I paid for the romance package and part of that was chocolate dipped strawberries. We got back to our room the 2nd night (the night i requested tye strawberries) at around 930pm. The host complained we got in too late and it was over an hr past her bed time. Shoved the strawberries and sparkling cider in my hands gave me a rude glare and slammed the door shut. The next morning at breakfast (830am sharp, no before or after which is very weird) she was incredibly rude to my wife and the other guests who asked a simple question about what time breakfast was. Very odd very un welcoming. Will never stay there again. Seeing as i paid over 1000 to stay 4 nights i expected FAR better service / hospitality. read more

This place is perfect. It is exactly what was needed to make up for what began as a terrible trip to GA. Mind you, the task of finding ANY accommodations on Tybee Island in the middle of summer (much less during a gymnastics event and right before everyone returns to school) is not an easy feat. We called nearly every hotel, motel and B&B on Tybee and we ultimately decided to take a chance on Surf Song B&B. We are SO HAPPY that we did. From the warm greeting that we received from C (the lovely in keeper) on our arrival to the small but very appreciated details in the room, we could have not asked for a better stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The check-in process was a breeze, as was checkout. The room is immaculately clean, towels are plush and plentiful, and the bed is SO COMFY! Not to mention, there are 6 (yes 6!) pillows on the bed, plus throw pillows! We were lucky enough to get the 'Starfish' room which is a beautiful lavender themed room (yes, I am 24 and my favorite color is still purple ). The complimentary shampoo/conditioner/lotion and bath salts all smell wonderful! C has complimentary snacks and beverages conveniently located throughout the B&B. This is helpful for a quick pick-me-up after beach-going all day to curb your pre-dinner grumpiness :) We are so glad that we stumbled upon this place. It was the best thing about this trip by far. Please do not let the price dissuade you... this place is worth every penny and more. For the hospitality, cleanliness, accessibility and overall atmosphere, this place is a steal and HIGHLY recommended. We will absolutely return! read more

This was an absolutely amazing B and B especially after learning on our last day of all the damage they had from Huuricane Matthew in late 2016. You would not have any idea with how well things are fixed up. All the rooms are well appointed. We spent 2 nights in the lavender room. Incredibly comfortable and spacious king sized bed. Beautiful view of the ocean from the front window. Bathroom very modern with PLENTY of hot water which is not always the case if you have done a lot of B and B. The breakfasts were incredible, Cindy really outdid herself both days. We also had homemade brownies waiting for us on arrival and homemade cookies as a treat the second night we were there. Fully stocked mini fridges in the house with waters and sodas and also a number of additional snacks besides the cookies and brownies. Very close to the beach with public access to get out there easily. If I ever make it back to Tybee Island I will not have to think about where to stay, the choice is easy. read more

Surf Song is truly amazing. The home is immaculate, the food is amazing and Sherry, the Innkeeper is over the top amazing. She made fresh baked goods every night, prepared a wonderful breakfast every morning with a wonderful smile! Sherry provided us with great tips for the island as well as Savannah. Savannah is located a very short (maybe 20 minutes) from Surf Song. We spent our mornings in Savannah and our afternoons by the Pool at Surf Song and the beautiful beach across the street. We could see the sunrise from our impeccable room and even hear the ocean waves. If you time it right you will see the dolphins swimming at daybreak and dusk. Truly amazing, Surf Song is a must ! read more

This is the place where we were fortunate to end our vacation. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. I could have spent hours on the lovely porch but in less than 5 minutes I could walk to a gorgeous, quiet beach, so that's where I spent more time! We spent 4 nights. The B&B is immaculate and a great piece of history. Very peaceful neighborhood in the quieter North side of Island. Very short walk to beach and lighthouse. The B&B is marvelous. It is located in an excellent location and the hostess was kind, caring, and very helpful. The breakfasts were very good and the company was good as well.
