For the new welcoming place for all parking permits it's remarkably unlabeled and not easy to find. Don't go to the main doors of the building go down to what seems to be a lower level area to find the police department. Also write down your license plate number yo save yourself a trip back to your car. I love that everyone just kept saying sorry new rules. Library visits require a visit to the police station. Someone call the firemen.

The area near the entrance is often occupied by individuals who appear to be spending extended periods there and there is sometimes a strong odor by the entrance that makes the space uncomfortable. On one occasion when I came to study, I was unable to find a table with an available charging port for my laptop because several outlets were being used continuously for charging phones. It would be helpful if the library could take steps to better manage these issues and ensure the space remains clean, welcoming and safe for families, students and all community members.

The staff is always friendly and there is security on patrol in the parking lot. Who doesn't love libraries?!…read more This library is our favorite! It is kept clean, organized, and have a wide variety of children's books to choose from. Staff and volunteers are always helpful. As other libraries, this branch also offer self-checkouts and easy drop offs. They they also offer automatic extension for borrowed items and you can also put books on hold if you are waiting on a specific one. I also had a privilege of using one of the conference rooms with other mom friends to help our kids with their homework. Parking is ample and is located in downtown Brentwood, so you can also shop, eat, play and walk around after. If you also want to support the library, one way is to check out their second hand books on the second floor or donate books as well.

It truly is sad that so many companies have dialed down the rhetoric but the Lodi Public Library is not concerned with protecting kids from sexual adult content.

CHICANO RESEARCH CENTER…read more When I first walked into CRC my jaw dropped I couldn't process everything I was seeing. So many books to do with my culture so many colorful books waiting to be explored wanting to be read by young and wise hands. I was welcomed with such a wonderful sight. fond and old memories started finding their way back to the surface and I could recall my first visit to the elementary library discovering words and pages for the first time. Shelves upon shelves stacked with knowledge to be rediscovered. Small and cozy. You'll have to search for it and like all good things its a hard find. But so worth it. Didn't know stockton held such Gem within its city. Mr Soto has an Awesome variety of Chicano/Mexican culture books from the pre-hispanic era to the Chicano movement and much much more!! A very knowledgeable man patient and willing to sit with you and share his life experiences. I truly was blessed to have spent 4 hours sharing stories, ideas and books with Mr Soto. Sad to leave but happy to come back for more books! And yes I got a membership so now I can take home and read all the books I want! Except for Mr Soto's collection those you'd have to read in the center!
