My left ear was pierced without any issues. However, when it came to my right ear, the piercer asked me to lean across toward her instead of moving to my right side or repositioning me. As soon as the piercing was done, I could tell something wasn't right. It went in at an angle and became painful almost immediately after I left. My left piercing is healing fine, but I'm concerned about the right one because it seems slanted and may take much longer to heal. This felt like a preventable issue, as simply repositioning me or moving to the other side could have made a difference. Very disappointing overall.

One thing I always appreciate about here is how friendly, caring, and informative everyone is. Whether I have questions about anatomy or aftercare, they always explain everything clearly and never make me feel rushed or confused. And honestly, the piercing process is always way faster and smoother than I expect. I'll mentally prepare for it to hurt and then suddenly they're like "all done!" and I'm sitting there like "oh, that wasn't bad at all" haha. That's also why all my cartilage piercings (3 helix's, 2 tragus's, conch, daith, and rook) have been done here!

Most importantly they were able to do the piercings I wanted the same day unlike the other shops I called. When I arrived, the store was empty, very clean and quaint. Just the two workers opening the store for the day. I filled out the consent form and about 10 minutes later I was called to the back by Melissa who measured my existing piercings to mark them on my other ear. Very happy with her attention to detail. Everything seemed to be sanitized properly as well, at least to my untrained eyes. She went ahead with the lobe piercings after letting me see the spots she marked using a handheld mirror and they turned out great. I had the same experience with the septum as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience here at Mint Condition and Melissa's work, and will always consider this place first when I'm ready to get my next piercings!

I had only ever gotten my ears pierced at the mall with one of those terrible piercing guns so this was my first experience getting a piercing professionally done and it was so great. Elisea made me feel super comfortable. She was super chill and very thorough when explaining the piercing process and after care. Please do not come here! I came to this shop to get my belly button pierced and my experience was a…read morenightmare. The costumer service was horrible but that was just the beginning. The piercer didn't let me approve the placement before piercing resulting in a noticeably uncentered piercing. After piercing me, she did not provide any after care instructions whatsoever and when I asked what I should be cleaning it with, she recommended BACTINE which is proven to be harmful to the healing process. In addition the bar was placed too deep and left no room for swelling, causing the top of the jewelry to sink into the piercing hole. I have only had this piercing for over a week and every day has been hell. I've been in an immense amount of pain and discomfort and am now left with a permanent uncentered hole in my body. Please don't trust these uneducated piercers with your body!
