I came here to Maya s for Cinco de Mayo I ordered one of their lunch Specials.Chicken fajitas with nice chunks of chicken, bell peppers, grilled n fresh onions tomatoes in a nice yummy broth with corn tortillas Also came with Rice n beans Also ordered a small guacamole and a diet coke Service was good and friendly Food was delicious.A nice clean restaurant. Has a small parking lot in a tiny shopping center

This was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten at an "authentic Mexican" restaurant. The guacamole looked like it was days old. My partner couldn't take more than one bite of the green enchilada because it was so salty and tasted like it had spoiled. The chicken taco was just grilled chicken inside a tortilla. No sauce, salsa, cilantro or onion. It was some of the driest chicken I've ever tasted and came with raw onion on the side? Everything tasted like it was straight from the can. The server didn't know what type of pork came in the taco, nor what kind of beef came in the nachos. The entire meal came to $90 plus an expected tip. When we inquired about potential compensation for our awful meal, we were met with unprofessionalism and a very small discount considering we ate maybe 10% of the meal. There was one nice young hostess who did her very best to help out & even brought a new enchilada when we weren't made aware that there were more options for it. The place was cute inside, but we should have known that it was almost completely empty for a reason. Overall, please skip this place. There are MUCH better restaurants in and around Scotts Valley. It's not worth the impoliteness and worse than mediocre meal. We both agreed Taco Bell would have done us better.

Had the best time here on New Years Day! Festive atmosphere, yummy warm comforting food, and great service. Chile relleno was a highlight, and can't go wrong with a Modelo pitcher and 3 rounds of margs! 100% will be back asap

Stopped here for food and dessert. The staff was very friendly and we got our food quickly. I only tried their sopapillas. I had never heard of it or tried it so I was a bit nervous, but they were amazing! They remind me of buñuelos, the ice cream definitely made them taste even better! I also tried their horchata which was also good. The restaurant is very spacious and I loved the music! Will definitely be going back to try out more items on the menu!

We got the frozen mango margarita pitcher and chicken fajitas. The alcohol was there and the margarita was strong but it could have been better with slightly more flavor. Generous portion size on the Chicken fajitas but flavor was lacking here as well. Very friendly server and quick service.

The food was terrible, fajitas were so tough and the rest of the food was no better than a taqueria.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and accommodating. We asked if we could sit upstairs near the band, and they immediately made it happen for us. That alone set the tone for the night -- no hesitation, just great service. Sitting upstairs by the live band made the whole experience even better. The energy was fun, lively, and perfect for a Valentine's celebration with friends. We were able to enjoy the music, laugh, and really soak in the atmosphere. The customer service was amazing all around -- attentive, friendly, and on point the entire night. And the food? Incredible. Everything we ordered hit. I can confidently say this might be my new go-to spot for special occasions or even just drinks with friends. Great vibes, great food, and great service. We'll definitely be back!

It was closed due to a private party upstairs. The food took some time to serve, but it taste really good. Love my full back ribs and Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese rings! The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a great spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a casual meal. They made my birthday extra special with their lemon raspberry cake. Yum! I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu!

Erica the bartender helped us at the bar with food and drinks. The second time I was engaged and I wanted my engagement party there. We set it up by the couches with "Happy Engagement" sign, "she said yes" napkins, Ring straws and Ring balloons. We all talked, took photos, had mimosas and brunch. Everyone was attentive and just had an amazing time. about 20 people showed up. The third time we went to the pool with 3 kids. It was a bit pricy for 5 people with food and drinks. It also did take a little long like 30 minutes for drinks but it was fun and the pool was warm. They brought out a pretzel that was rock hard. When I told them they quickly brought me a new one that was soft.

I visit nearly every Monday and typically spend between $300-$500 a month here, sometimes even more, because I've always enjoyed supporting this business. First, I want to recognize the staff members who have consistently made my visits enjoyable. Erica, Marie, and Robin are absolutely wonderful, you are so lucky to have them. I've also met your manager with the red hair (I unfortunately don't remember her name), and she has always been incredibly kind and welcoming. Employees like them are a big reason I've continued coming back. I understand that costs have gone up. The increase in pool admission from $25 to $35 is understandable, and I also understand the automatic 18% gratuity for poolside food service. Running a business isn't cheap, and I'm happy to pay for a quality experience. What was disappointing was how my family's experience was handled during my mom's birthday. Between pool admission, renting a $240 cabana, food, and drinks, we easily spent over $1,000. we came two days in a row so that was per day. We brought our own birthday cake, the second day, and when I was told there was a cake-cutting fee, I said I understood. However, when I returned to the counter later on, I was informed that the fee was $5 per slice they cut. That was never disclosed beforehand. At that point, it stopped feeling like a luxury experience and started feeling like being nickel-and-dimed. Charging $5 per slice of cake, after guests have already spent so much, comes across as unnecessarily tacky and leaves a poor impression. If this policy exists, it should be clearly communicated in advance so guests aren't surprised during a special occasion. Unfortunately, this isn't the only reason my perception has changed. Over the past year, the service has noticeably declined. While there are still some incredible employees, the overall atmosphere doesn't feel the same. The staff no longer seems as happy or supported as they once were, and I've even heard similar concerns from someone I know who worked there. I genuinely want Trout Farm Inn to succeed because I've been a loyal customer for years and have so many great memories here. That's why it's disappointing to see the guest experience slipping. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and focuses on providing the level of hospitality that made this place special in the first place. Side note for the kitchen! I would consider butterflying your coconut shrimp, they're a great menu item! However I have had to return the order many times, for being raw in the center, they're too thick for the fryer to fully cook properly. Thank you Trout farm I believe in you and hope things get better for your staff and guests:)

There were only several tables inside, so the place is cozy and quite enough. The edamame was salted throughout, flavorful but not the most healthy. We ordered three rolls: volcano was our favorite, it has a great mixture of flavors. I used to be a sashimi person, but I enjoyed the baked rolls due to the flavor. Firecracker was tasty too. Mango crunch was a letdown, not because of the mango but the tempura in the middle. The tempura had the wrong type of dough and tasted old and soggy. I probably won't order any of their tempura dishes again if I ever revisit. Overall I still enjoyed the food and thought it's good value.

Yam maki Rainbow roll Clare's st roll Samurai roll California roll Hamachi maki The rice was flavorful and fresh, the fish and veggies were also clearly fresh, and the seasonings and garnishes were just right. 12 pc sushi combo - the fish was vibrant, buttery in texture, and the slices were generous.
