The steak is perfectly tender and seasoned literally to perfection. They give you 2 big sopes with sooooo much!!! I could eat this every single day and not be disappointed ever. I think the cemitas could benefit from better bread, a smokey salsa and perhaps some pickled veggies. The prices are very fair and the portions are as expected. We ordered to go, but the restaurant itself has a handful of tables inside and a TV on the wall. The ladies who work there were very nice and speak both English and Spanish. The cutest, most authentic, Mexican food you will find. A hidden gem in Briarcliff Manor. Always plenty of street parking available. This place is always kept clean. Sparkling clean! A very small restaurant, with only 4 or 5 tables, that does the bulk of its business in take out apparently. Since we don't live nearby, is a destination for us and we eat in or outside where there are additionally two tables with umbrellas. Every item that is made and comes to your table is always the freshest, and well presented! The ubiquitous corn chips and salsa at the beginning or anything but ordinary. The additionally give you two other salsas on the table. One is a medium verde and the other it is a spicy one. All of them are amazing and compliment every dish. Displayed here is what we ate. We had the enchiladas suiza which had the most amazing verde sauce on top, a chicken torta that was stuffed with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced avocado and mex cheese, and a steak Burrito that was stuffed and the size of a football! So much food! All items come with french fries which are delicious, but they will substitute anything for you. I always choose to get rice and beans, and my wife always gets this beautiful salad. If and when you have room for dessert, they always have freshly made flan, rice pudding, and tres leches. Plenty of Mexican sodas. Everybody is so kind in this place. Now that I found this place I don't feel like O have to hop on a plane. It's a small place that feels family run. Duranguense music from the kitchen keeps you company while you wait for your food. The service is always friendly and efficient. I usually get the Al pastor fries to share. They are basically loaded fries. Loaded with what? Deliciousness. The árabe tacos are my personal favorite but all the tacos are good..I think the tortillas are made in house. J usually gets the burrito- nicely presented and much too much to finish so he take its home. We pay the reasonable price and go home with our bellies full and smiles on our faces. I was looking for a spot to eat on the way home from Westchester and came across this place which had 5-stars. So, I ordered and I can't tell you how impressed I was. The food was phenomenal, the service was awesome. They make these house waters with some kind of juice which was great. If you are driving by check this place out you won't be disappointed. Its located on a cute little main street with other shops and restaurants which all these years I never knew was there. I had the chicken tinga tostadas and they had so much flavor! They have something called the alapastor fries which was totally insane because it had everything on it like, jalapeños, avocados, sautéed onions, chicken and a massive amount of cheese on top.
