Very overpriced. Service is questionable at best. $34 for what is pictured w 2 drinks. Not worth it.

Thank you, Mex-to-Go. Good food and good policies.

Always good, fresh food. The rotisserie chicken is delicious!! Service is always friendly. A real local feel.

The single most disappointing burrito I have ever eaten. I ordered a vegetarian burrito that was said to have vegetables and beans. What was delivered was a rice and lettuce wrap with a barely noticeable smear of black beans. There were no onions, tomatoes, cheese, or any other vegetables in the mix. I almost never complain, but for $21 (we ordered two) I was given about 40 cents worth of food. I showed the owner who just told me that the lettuce was the vegetable. They should have offered a refund - I did not have time for them to make something else.

Chicken burrito (skip the sauce, it's terrible)

My boyfriend and I eat lunch here often. Carne Asado tacos are AMAZING. Everyone is very kind. Always recommend this spot.

Very overpriced for mediocre Mexican food. The portions were quite small, and the guacamole was definitely not fresh.

The host wanted to seat us next to an extremely large & loud party so we asked for a different table. He led us to the back room, which was empty. All of the lights were flickering, which we thought was an extremely odd and unprofessional. It gave us all a headache to be completely honest. Large portion of chips & salsa, which was nice. The menus are also on tablets which is kind of cool. It didn't take long before the small room filled up. They sat a young family right next to us (and the tables are pretty close together). This couple gave their young daughter a device so she was watching loud YouTube videos for the duration of our meal. This definitely took away from our meal. The host also turned out to be our waiter. His attention was definitely pulled in many directions and he wasn't as attentive as he should have been to the tables. I ordered the mixed fajitas (chicken, steak, and shrimp). That is my usual whenever I go to Mexican restaurants. Never before have I been to a restaurant where they include green peppers, but this place does. And a lot of them. Yuck! There was also a seasoning that the protein was soaked in that tasted funny. It soaked into the chicken the most. Didn't enjoy my meal. And for the prices they are charging, I should have. Not sure I'll be back. Much happier with other Mexican restaurants.

Tony and I stopped by the other day on the way back from a day of shopping at Woodbury Commons. If you head over to Playa, I recommend sitting outside (if it's good weather) OR in the bar. Karen, the bartender on the night we visited, is amazing! As for food, everyone automatically gets chips and salsa upon arrival (the way it should be). And stand outs for us included the single-layer nachos (we added chicken as our protein), the combo plates, and the fajitas. The sauce on the fajitas was some of the best we'd ever had. I think it must have been árbol chiles and guajillo chiles (?) that gave the dish such a rich, orange color. But our minds were just blown by how good the fajita sauce was. Oh, and we ordered the mixed fajitas (shrimp, beef, and chicken). The combo plate I ordered including a Beef Chile Relleno (yum), a small Been Burrito (yum), and a Chicken Enchilada (yum). OF COURSE it was served with rice and beans (more yum). It just blows my mind why such a combo is hard to find in all of NYC. But, luckily, just a few short miles away, we have Playa Cancun... and we will be returning to this place soon!
