We stopped here on a Sunday and it was pretty crowded at first. There are a good amount of seats inside to beat the heat and get refreshed. This place offers not only ice cream but ice cream bars and pops. I can't remember the name of the ice I ordered but it included Oreo. There were 2 different ice creams with Oreo. I chose the one without the peanut butter. The Oreo ice cream was very tasty and smooth. I'm not crazy about everyone's ice cream but this one was solid, no complaints. I would try a different flavor next time but there's something about Oreo that always gets me but regardless of your preference you will find a flavor you like.
Mayday Ice Cream was such a gem to stumble upon, especially on a blazing hot Florida day. Nothing hits the spot better than something cold and refreshing, and this place absolutely delivered. They offer a wide variety of treats--from classic ice cream to popsicles--with plenty of unique flavor options to choose from. Everything looked amazing, which made it hard to decide. I ended up getting the avocado coconut popsicle, and honestly it was so good. It was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. Unlike traditional creamy popsicles, this one felt super clean and cooling--perfect for the heat. Our friend ordered a bowl of ice cream with several different flavors. I can't remember exactly which ones they picked, but every scoop we tried was delicious and clearly made with quality ingredients. Overall, it was a great little stop for a sweet treat, and I would definitely come back again the next time I'm in the Tampa/St. Pete area. Not to mention the staff were really friendly. The cute shop is very thriving.
so many flavors and so many to decide from. Each one we had tried was so delicious and fresh. One small scoop is around $6.50 and it comes with a little waffle crisp or sprinkles. There is a bit of a wait to get served, but once you get to the front, it's moving. There's plenty of seating and standing area inside the store. The Matcha strawberry was so fresh.
If you didn't know, ice cream is the best treat. I'll argue to the death over that. Nothing better. Mayday is amazing! Super creamy, crazy flavor, huge chunks of cookie. Very well done ice cream. From the looks of it, small batch, house made and just about perfect. Mint could have been mintier but that's obviously a personal preference of mine. It was plenty minty. The employees were very friendly and personable. Served with a smile and a short conversation about St. Pete. Walked from my hotel and back in about 20min so I felt even better about eating it since I "earned" it LOL! Highly recommend Mayday!!
Stopped in for ice cream at 8:15pm on a Thursday night! It wasn't too crowded when we arrived but there was a decent line as we were leaving. My boyfriend and I ordered the 6 scoop sampler, as it was actually cheaper to do this than to each get a single scoop. We tried Parent Trap, Cookie Crush, Midnight Chocolate, Cloud 9, Coffee + Donuts, and The Aviator. Overall, we felt like the ice creams were all good, but none had an insane flavor profile. We were a bit underwhelmed, but agreed the ice cream as a whole was not bad and that we loved the vibes inside the shop itself. My personal favorite was The Aviator (though it definitely didn't taste like Nutella to me or my boyfriend, I just liked the creamy flavor). My boyfriend liked the Parent Trap as it had a strong peanut butter flavor. We are interested in coming back and adding hot fudge to our ice cream in the future, as we didn't notice that until after we had ordered!
We were walking by and got a hankering for some ice cream and I am so glad we walked in! We were immediately greeted by the very nice woman behind the counter, and were amazed at the wide variety of unique and delicious flavors. We had a hard time deciding which ones we wanted and ended up trying a bunch before making our selections. Having tried a lot of the flavors, I can confidently say they are all delicious in their own way. The texture of some pieces were a little bit icey in some spots, but each flavor really stood out. The fruit flavors were created with real fruit, the mint ice cream was very refreshing, the cookie dough had a great ratio of cookie dough to ice cream, and everything overall just had a slightly fresher and higher quality taste. Some flavors had things mixed in to them like cookie bits or white chocolate chips, and they definitely do not skimp on the fillings.I believe the ice cream is handmade, but we know for sure that the rainbow sprinkles are made locally. The rainbow sprinkles were some of the best we have ever had, and I highly recommend adding them to your order (they are free of charge). They also give you a really decent size scoop. The woman who helped us out loaded up my cup with my ice cream flavor. I also loved the flight theme of the ice cream restaurant. And everything inside is super bright from the big windows, and a welcomed break from the heat of the day. This is such a cute find and recommend a stop by!
We spent $10 on 6 flavors of ice cream. I thought this was such a good idea to get a sample of their ice cream. They have such unique flavors! My favorite was the pecan bourbon which is (21+) flavor. If not in the mood for ice cream they also have gourmet popsicles. Service was kinda slow, they can get pretty busy since the location is right off Central.
So so so delicious my sister and I have been obsessed since we moved to St. Pete. My favorites are the Oreo one and the aviator. Can't wait until the next trip!

I enjoyed the peanut butter goodness in Parent Trap. What a delicious flavor. Mayday Ice Cream serves homemade ice cream and Hyppo popsicles. I decided to get ice cream. They have many unique flavors and the service is attentive. They're servings are generous. I had a pilot (once scoop) of Parent Trap. It was just enough. Yum! read more
Stopped here with a friend last month after a fun night exploring the Central Avenue area. We went on a Wednesday night around 9 pm and as soon as we ordered, there was a long line behind us. The cashier was super sweet, complimenting my jewelry. We got to sample a few of the flavors before we made our choices. I chose 2 scoops in a cone but the cashier suggested getting the scoops in a bowl since the weight of the ice cream would be too much for the cone and would fall. She included my cone on the side. The ice cream was creamy, the perfect amount of sweetness, and left us feeling happy! If you're looking for a great ice cream spot, look no further! read more

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had!! I'm very picky with my ice cream and this one is definitely for the books. So smooth and silky. Flavors were so creative but not overkill. DID NOT TASTE ARTIFICIAL!! Service was so helpful and encouraged tasting to ensure you pick your favorite flavor. Highly recommended. I will be coming back every season to try the different flavors. read more
