Great neighborhood restaurant and bar. Breakfast would be great if they decided to do it

This place is right up the street. We go there at least 1X/week, sometimes 2! I always go in wanting a cheeseburger (which they don't cook very well). They are dried out or still mooing when it's brought out. Even when ordered the same way. I end up with their salad with fried chicken. Nice cold beer - on sale until 600. I think the price doubles after happy hour. The floors are gross! Like stick to them if you are a small child kind of sticky!!! Don't go in the lady's before you eat. You will really stick to the floor and you won't get away!!! Jeremy and Michelle are awesome servers. I don't know - I'm re-reading what I wrote. Why do we still go there?! Because, if you don't want to drive and want a cold beer and a burger cooked not at all how you like it - then this is the only place in town!! read more

Dinner was great, ordered the prime rib. It was outstanding.. so you might ask why I'm giving three stars. What are desserts and I had to get out my magnifying glass to find what I ordered for for 9 bucks . I hope Eric cake and it was literally the size of a carrot. Best bar food around. Always , and I mean always great. Service is always on point. They do ask for reservations with larger parties. Prime rib special on Friday and sat. Probably want to get there early for the best rare cuts. I usually be the shaved ribeye sandwich. Delicious. If you prefer crispy fries, may want to opt for the chips. I like both. Good beer selection. A few TVs around the bar and a couple of pool tables. Outdoor patio, but that's usually where folks go to smoke so unless you're a smoker may want to avoid the patio. read more

It pains me to write this review because this used to be one of my "hidden gem" places to eat around me for quite sometime & after being gone for over a year I was happy to be eating here again. Out waitress was great and there's was no wait (that's the good!). I got water w lemon to drink but the water was not good to the point I ordered a ginger ale instead and hardly ever drink soda. Not completely their fault the tap water in the area's not great to say the least and I wanna be fair. I ordered the drunken clams appetizer as I have in the past and the clams were microscopic, I mean small to the point my wife stopped eating them and said there was no point. I've never seen clams this small honestly. Then I got the mahi mahi which was ok not great, the salad and broccoli were the best things I ate on this occasion. I usually get the fish & chips which is usually very good but this was a completely underwhelming & disappointing experience. read more

I walked in wanting to order the Rachel, a rueben sandwich, which they ran out of. Instead, I opted to try the cajun chicken alfredo, which was similar to the Chili's. My boyfriend ordered the shredding ribeye and provolone with homemade fries. Both were good and the portions were perfect, especially for the price you're paying. There are a lot of tables, and some pool tables for people to use and hang out. Service however could be improved because it seems like they do the jobs of a server and a busser. It also seems as if there aren't a lot of servers, so it may take a bit to get a hold of your server. Overall, it's pretty good and would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner!! read more

06/15/2025 TERRIBLE FOOD QUALITY!!!! Ordered the Ribeye (med-rare). First of all it came out med well, but it was tasteless and the meat quality was 3rd rate, at best! My father in law ordered the Mahi and when I took a bite, I thought someone crapped in the food. I realize that sounds a bit extreme but that is how it tasted! I then picked up the plate and it smelled ROTTEN!!! I let the waitress know and the manager didn't even come out to apologize and take ownership of their mistake. Food is above average but the drunks at the pool table who have clearly been over served spoiled our visit.

I was eating lunch at Maynard's today and I saw something I had never seen before. The owner came out and blasted a customer for returning her food. She thought the order was wrong. He came stomping out of the kitchen and asked who was the one who sent their food back. He said the order was not wrong and I don't want you to ever come back in my establishment again I was sitting nearby and everybody around there heard it. I was so embarrassed for the customer. I myself will not be returning to eat at Maynard's again. I have never seen an owner, a manager or wait staff talk to a customer like this before. It was very unprofessional and everyone in the immediate area heard it and saw it. read more

We've come here often and the service and food is always great. Not sure if I've had the fish and chips before but it was superb. My husband always gets the Chicken Cajun Pasta and our son loves their Kids cheeseburgers. Left with empty plates!!!! read more

Are you kidding me? I just found the best burger in all of Braselton area. Hands-down Flippin phenomenal service fast atmosphere. Great food absolutely delicious family friendly place and try the wings. The burger is absolutely juicy and priced correctly. Get in there in order yourself a burger and some wings. Forget about craft burger or over-the-top burger this place is simple and great and you won't walk out broke. Ask for Jeremy the server he was tiptop service. read more

I ordered the black and blue burger cooked Medium w/ fries ($10.99). Pros: Roxy was a great server, and everything came out very very fast. Food was hot and tasted good. Popped back in after few months. My wife loves the Santa Clara shrimp. I had the wedge (very yummy) and decided to try the grilled 12oz ribeye. The steamed broccoli and potato were delicious. The ribeye was tough. I shave have had it med rare. I'll make a suggestion with Wilkes meat market just across the parking lot. Upgrade the meats and people will pay for the taste! read more

So pleasantly surprised With the food and service here I'll be back frequently. I think I've shade away due to the previous place here years ago and had an opportunity to work nearby and they have some great sandwiches and burgers worth going back for as well as a good steak. Bacon lettuce tomato and avocado sandwich on whole wheat to be my new favorite. They make their own fries but for seven dollars great sandwich lots of bacon And just a fantastic. The prime rib sandwich a d French dip are great and very meaty. I've only picked up to go so far but will be heading in soon to see Heather and the gang that make this place work well. Very pleased with my order so far and the quality of food and the value. Highly recommend!! read more

We used to love eating here, but the last few times we have been, our meals have not been good. Yesterday, we decided to revisit and regretted our decision. We waited a very long time for service and when our food finally arrived my husband's fish smelled bad. He couldn't eat it. I ended up sharing my meal with him, which was a great idea, because we didn't see the waitress again until we were ready to leave. Awful a few years ago. Tables were slammed together, service was fine, but the food was less than impressive.

This what I wrote. Had dinner there with our friends last Saturday night. Have been there a few times. It was very hot in the restaurant. Also was very upset because there were bugs flying around us while we were eating. Started with one bug then increased to four. While eating we had to swat the bugs. A couple of them fell in our drinks. Not very hygienic. The staff just let it slide as if expected. Will definitely reconsider going back there. read more

This is your local go to place. This is a great place with good beer, great food, and good service. I have had the fish and chips, tacos, Reuben, and probably my favorite is the buffalo pork chop sandwich. Everything I have had here has been really good, but I don't believe I have ever had an entree, mostly just sandwiches. read more

The servers are all wearing face masks and they do follow dining social distancing. We ordered the fire cracker shrimp and toast as our starter. Not what we had imagined. There were 8 pieces of shrimp in a small bowl swimming in what looks and tastes like an entire jar of Texas Pete's and 3 pieces of buttered Texas toast halves. It was "okay ". My main entree was the Mahi Street Tacos with crema. The corn tortillas were fried which was greasy. I needed to soak up the grease with my napkin which they were very generous with! (Some restaurants are stingy with napkins like Fish Tales). The service was great. Unfortunately the food was just okay. Also, if you plan on wearing something nice, don't. You walk out of there smelling like a fryer. They need to kick on their kitchen hood to get the frying smell out of the dining room. read more

This place is atrocious, and I will never go back. Two others in our party also said so. There was smoke filling the entire restaurant from something burning in the kitchen, so we asked to be outside, but when we asked the server could we not push two tables together out there, she got a literal attitude then tried to act like the table wouldn't fit to move it across. Finally we go the table moved over, ordered an appetizer and the plates we were given were dirty. We order our food and can tell the server is annoyed with us and at that point we just wanted to leave. Following that, our food came out and all of the cups of condiments delivered with the food had weird liquid watery stuff on the top of them. See picture of a honey mustard. Next we noticed all of our water cups had mold looking stuff in them. Then one of our party's plate was so bad he only ate 2-3 bites because the chicken was so rubbery and chewy. Our food was delicious. It was great for our family with a fun atmosphere! Fast, friendly, and efficient service!

We are there today for first time. The homemade chips and fried Cobb salad was decent. My husband got the Mahi Mahi with asparagus. He said it tasted really odd and honestly like dirt. I don't eat dish but tried the asparagus. Just touching my tongue was the grossest thing I ever tasted. Something was seriously off with his meal. The dish was freezer burnt and sauce had the same odd flavor. Honestly just disgusting. They did give us gift card for future but I felt real bad for his meal. We were not expecting five star experience but to pay this much for a meal you expect it to be edible. read more

We found our new local watering hole! We're new to the area and absolutely love the fact that we found this gem! From the server to the owner, this place knows how to treat customers. We are served by Kate and she's amazing! She was very attentive, welcoming, and friendly. She recommended items, which is what a server is supposed to do. She's a keeper for the business. Kate is the main reason we will be regulars. The food was solid! The wife loved her grilled chicken salad, the grilled chicken sandwich I had was juicy, and the rosemary fries are such a great pairing! We met the owner as well. He made it a point to come visit our table and welcomed us to the community. This is what you want from a community bar and grill. Things to point out, the music was great, they have a pool table, and there's an ATM. We will be back for wine Wednesday again!! read more

We had an amazing time while we were visiting here in Georgia. Our server was wonderful. Food was delicious and all homemade. I was very impressed. I come from up north near Boston and we have a lot of homemade food to choose from. This is one of the rare places around here. I highly recommend it. We had some appetizers, a burger, and the Ruben.
