I visited Mayors at Merrick Park looking to purchase a Rolex. I fully understand that availability is limited and depends on what is in stock. Being offered three Day-Dates was not the issue. The issue was the complete lack of customer service. Rolex emphasizes building long-term relationships with authorized dealers, but that becomes impossible when there is little to no effort made to engage with customers. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff rather than being assisted. I had to repeatedly ask for attention, and even then the interaction felt rushed and uninterested. Exclusivity should never replace professionalism. When a customer walks in ready to make a purchase, basic engagement and respect should be the minimum expectation--especially at a luxury retailer. Unfortunately, this experience made it clear that building any kind of relationship here isn't realistic. I won't be returning. read more

Do yourself a favor and NEVER and I mean NEVER spend a dime at this location. While they may "respect" you to your face, their actions to acquire any sought-after timepieces are pure lies and deceit. I have no doubt there are some good people at this location but management is terrible from the Director down to the Store manager. I have waited over 10 years with contact and a "relationship" with this location to no avail. I have a purchase history as well, this location will only sell to resellers who give them a kick back, its all quid-pro-quo. My interest in a timepiece was recently recorded a year ago and mind you I have had my "wish list" for over 8 years (with the same pieces). I was just told, "Oh well the models and article numbers change so that is why your model may not be on your list any longer". That is how long its been in my case. You are better off shopping at ANY other location. This place will respect you to your face but behind your back treat you like garbage and as if you dont matter in any capacity. I will be reaching out to the District manager of Mayors as well as the higher ups to share my poor experience over a span of 10 years with the same contact and group of individuals at this location. If you care about your time and self-respect go to Kirks Jeweler's and ANY other location that is a Rolex AD. I would rather purchase a Rolex from a pawn shop than ever do business with this location, in ANY CAPACITY. I will buy my Omega's, Cartier's and any other time pieces from the flagship stores of these brands but Mayors will never get another dime from me nor my family and friends. read more

Upon entrance with my beautiful girlfriend, My 61 year old mother (who has purchase over 100K from your stores and 200K if you include W.O.S.) and I were scoured at upon entrance to the store. The reason for this immediate clear issue was directed at myself due to my tattoos, shorts, t shirt and frizzy hair. Im young 29 years old and am successful in my own right. however during this experience I was marked as a thug upon entrance when the head guy singled to his security to keep an eye on me. I myself run a multi million dollar jewelry company and understand the intricacies of high end jewelry and watchmaking, however the pompous attitude and overall disrespect of paying customers at your store is not anywhere in line with High end service one would expect when looking to shell out 30K for a single watch purchase. I was told no watches were available, even though I heard the other colleague saying to another customer he had a sub and sea dweller as an available option to purchase. My mother then asked about Cartier watch bands and was basically shrugged off as if he didn't want to entertain her request. After an awkward silence and an uncomfortable looks from the 2 staff members and the security guard (who didn't actually cause but wanted to make sure his pompous boss was content) we awkwardly decided to head towards the exit and was followed by the staff member who was the main culprit. Long story short you have lost a whole family of wonderful customers as well as an extensive client list that has been notified of the overall bigotry and unpleasant nature of the staff at this location. I am ok to be ostracized and singled out for my appearance as this is what i have chosen but when you disrespect a 61 year old mother and a 23 year old girlfriend in the process thats when you cross lines. God only knows the other interactions these two quacks of "gentleman" have had with other people. I hope you guys can realize that in todays world when you cant even keep stock in stores, your image is all you have. After today your image as far as I am concerned is not only tarnished but will continue to suffer greatly if you continue to staff your establishments with pretentious and prejudice people! read more

We have to say that we were never treated so poorly at any store such as the Mayor's Jewelers at the shop of Merrick Park! The salesmen shut us down the moment we walked in. He was very argumentative and wouldn't even acknowledge what we wanted to purchase! Then we were told that due to the holidays no orders could be placed until January! I have never heard such a thing!! We have been customers of this particular store and I have to say that I will never give them my business again!! Terrible customer service! After we went to Tiffany's where they went above and beyond , we wanted to look at some of the options at Mayor's. We were basically completely ignored for 10 minutes. No greeting, no "we'll be right with you." When we asked for the item we were looking for, we were directed to the front. We asked the gentleman there who was charging his phone for help. He walked away from us . When I stared at him in shock , he said" I'm not a sales associate." After waiting for a few more minutes, my fiancé asked the lady there for help and she really abruptly told him they would be with him when they're done. After 15 more minutes we left . Go to Mayor's, not Tiffany's. The woman at Tiffany's did not greet me, I had to approach her myself for assistance. I asked if they had any faux tension ring settings. She said "fall"? And I said "No, faux, it means false." And that I'd be interested in regular tension settings too. She asked me to describe it and I suggested she look it up - I am not very good at describing such things - and I spelled it for her F A U X. She disappeared and came back with her manager. She then proceeded to declare me rude, saying how rudely I'd treated her, etc etc. So I left, the manager apologising as I marched out the door. Tiffany's is known for its quality and customer service. Merrick Park is definately an exception. Luckily, I bopped in to Mayor's too. I was welcomed warmly and had a pleasant conversation with their sales rep who knew of tension settings and although didn't carry any, advised me on where to find them as well as told me of their pros and cons. Today February the 8th 2018 at 11:50 am, I came to this sorry A.. place to look for a gift for my wife for our anniversary, because I had purchased from mayors before, not this store, but others. So I came in to the store, the Security guard open let me in, the first thing I noticed is two employees just chatting, the both Look at me and ignored me ( note: I had my work uniform on, so I did not look like a million dollar customer) So I walk thru the entire store and no one , I say it again no one even ask me if I need it help, even after I walk next two this two a.. holes a few times. After about 20 minutes walking with out any help, I went to the Security guard and ask him "does anyone here work here other than you?" He say" yes does two guys over there do!! "O" I say, then I ask can I speak to the manager? And he pointed to one of the two a.. holes that were just talking and did not want it to help me because of my Look an/or closing I was wearing. So I went to him and with my voice in a mad volume I give him sh...t . All he say was o I am sorry with a hipócrita face.
