Wedding catering review: We catered from them for our 3 day Indian wedding. First off, communication - most vendors (especially for Indian catering) weren't the most responsive when we reached out and did the tastings or with follow-ups after. Mayuri was always prompt, made time to meet us at our convenience and overall they were very professional. We had to add in an additional day of catering a couple of weeks before as well, and they jumped on it to help us out in a time crunch. Secondly, the food - one month later and our guests are still raving about the food. The variety and flavor of each dish was unparalleled. They even had a live tandoor at our reception for fresh naan and chicken tikka. As a side note, if one of the items needs some doctoring in your opinion, they make notes and tailor it accordingly too! Thirdly, the service - they met with us multiple times, visited the venue to ensure they had an appropriate idea of the amenities available, gave us suggestions on dishes to select, and were personally there to supervise the service. The managers Charanjit and Chenna Reddy did a great job and we are so grateful for their service. By far, the best vendor at our wedding! Lastly, the pricing - very reasonable as weddings can get expensive and for the service received, I would highly recommend them for any catering events! This place is such a disappointment. They never care to pick up the call for online order though they are aware of the phone ringing. And the worst thing, they took atleast 40min to make 1 togo biryani. Never gonna visit this place again. Btw the taste was not great aswell. read more

I frequent many Indian restaurants as my boyfriend is part Indian and my family is Burmese so we love curry. We ordered two curries (Dhaba Chicken and Butter Chicken) and a chicken biryani. Their food is on the spicier side which we don't mind at all. The yogurt stuff that comes with the curries was delicious. The thing that irritated me the most that brought them to three stars is that they gave no rice for the curries. What kind of Indian restaurant does not give rice with curry?!?!?! They could have at least warned me that all I get is curry with nothing to eat it with. I hope this changes because the food was actually pretty good. read more

My hubby and I were on the way to Rangoli Indian restaurant on 1960 when I checked Yelp and found that this location had Opened up and we decided to give it a shot. It just opened up in a strip center that's pretty nondescript. Don't let that turn you off. I had the chicken tikka masala and my hubby had the butter chicken - what we always order at Rangoli. I'm very disappointed in the menu. I have never eaten Indian cuisine. I really wanted to give this place a try after reading positive reviews. First, I tried Door Dash, but there are no descriptions of what's in the entrees. Then tonight, I went into the restaurant. The menu is the same. Many items to chose from but no descriptions of what's in each selection. Who has time to google all the words. I politely told the gentleman at the counter why I would not be eating at his place. He replied he has heard that before. Then change the menu. I walked around the corner to Pita Pit. Great service and the ladies explained everything. Told them of my experience and they stated they get a lot of customers from Mayuri for the same reason. Please add descriptions to your menu. Take a lesson from Chinese menus. read more

The food is excellent, the lunch portions are the perfect amount to take home, the manager is nice and the restaurant itself is very clean and well kept. Seemingly very authentic (I wouldn't know, but it's pretty damn good if it isn't) The naan is the perfect amount of crisp and warm, but still soft enough to pull apart. I can vouch for the goat and chicken dishes, and soup served with the lunch menu combos. Opened just recently and I hope that they last. Came here because a fabulous place flooded and my friend and I were looking for a replacement. First thing I didn't like was no descriptions on menu. I'm pregnant and have a lot of reflux and have to be careful what I eat. Tomatoes cause it, too spicy food causes it. A guy who worked there explained some of the vegetarian items, but it would be a whole lot easier if I could read the descriptions and make a decision. I picked a spinach dish, then specifically stated it couldn't be too spicy because of my reflux. Clearly they didn't care, because it was the Spiciest Indian food I've ever had. At one point a pepper caused me to choke for a few minutes, my voice was raw for 20 minutes. I'm no stranger to spicy, but most places will adjust the level. I ended up with 3 days of really bad reflux from eating there once, and my husband, who ate my leftovers, got a terrible stomach ache and said it was super greasy. Will not be going back! My husband and I used to like going here because they had a szechuan vegetable dish we were addicted to. It was the best thing on the menu. For some reason, they changed the recipe. We ordered it twice, hoping one time was a fluke, but it definitely isn't as good now. Everything else is just alright but you can tell it has a shit ton of fat in it. The samosas aren't very good. The other downside is that this place takes FOREVERRRRR. Even if you call ahead, it feels like they don't start working on your order until you show up. Wow! I live less than 5 minutes from here and how did I not know about this place?!? It is sooooooo good! The gentlemen at the counter taking orders were very patient with my sister and I (first time here at this restaurant) asked them a slew of questions regarding their menu. Finally we settled on the Onion Dosa (for my sister) and the Masala Dosa (for myself). Both came with two chutney's and sambar. My dosa came with potatoes mixed with grilled onions and Indian spices, I wound up breaking a big piece of my dosa off and putting my potato mixture in it and then dipping it into the chutneys. My sister really liked her dosa as well (she is a big onion fan). The restaurant was nice and clean as well and super affordable for the amount of food that you get. The food here is absolutely delicious. The naan was perfectly cooked and the currys were amazing. The chicken just melted in your mouth. The location is clean and the manager was quite nice. As another reviewer said, though, the service was kind of non existent. It's more akin to McDonalds, where you order at the counter, pick up your own food from the counter, get your own drinks, etc. The food definitely makes up for the service, though, and I will for sure be coming here again. read more
