We ordered a calzone and a trip to the salad bar. When making the salad we noticed that everything looked very old. We went back to the table and proceeded to eat. Everything was slimy and rotten! We showed the waitress, she just laughed and said she wouldn't eat it! We asked if they had fresh in the back, she went to look. 20 minutes later she came with our Calpine. It was half burnt. I asked that it be remade. She took it back. 10 minutes passes, she returns and stayes that all the salad in the back is just like the front and they were just going to sell what they have. I take pizza and wings back with me and it's always ready when it's time to leave. I don't understand the negative reviews. I am a fan of this location. In a town with virtually no options, it's a nice place for pizza and salad. I'm probably a bit more picky about the salad bars than others, but Mazzio's is great. I love the options on the salad bar: tons of toppings, fresh lettuce (and not just iceberg), great dressings. I love it. I could eat an unlimited salad and be totally happy. Usually I'll grab some cheese sticks. These amazing slices of bread are just oozing with hot cheese. They don't need to be dipped, but marinara sauce is on point if you need it. I'm not apologizing for eating an entire small order by myself. No guilt whatsoever. Carryout is painless, but that salad bar makes dining in pretty appealing. read more

My husband bought 2 meduim pizzas, 1 w/pepperoni & the other w/pineapple. As soon as we ate it it tasted funny but was too hungry to notice 'till after we ate it. My husband, myself, & my son experinced tummy issues. The next day my husband called the location & explained what happened, but didn't like the result of the issue! My husband told me that the store manager/whoever was incharge hung up & left us dry! We know that your products are fresh, but the manager didn't want to listen to my husband saying that maybe there was a bad batch of dough/something. WE WANT OUR REFUND! Late night delivery (relatively speaking for the small town of Clinton) to a local hotel after a long day of driving. Good looking menu with a variety of options to choose from. Went with the original pizza crust and various toppings. Got a small pie. It was delicious. Delivery was actually pretty quick. Really enjoyed the food. I wasn't happy with my recent visit. I got a small two topping pizza and 10 bone-in wings. The pizza was decent (normal Mazzio's pizza) but the wings were terrible! They were so off tasting I didn't eat them in fear of getting sick. On top of that, the only other thing I purchased was a 20 ounce drink to go and my order was over $33!! An individual meal for someone costing close to $40 that taste as bad as it did, just isn't right. read more

This LITTLE town shuts down during the week at 9pm. We got to hotel at 9pm, hungry for dinner... This place had already started cleaning up to close, and my husband picked up carryout. YUM! I was thinking I saw it only had 2 star reviews, and that's just hard to believe. It was by far the BEST thinner crust I have ever eaten. Ordered three pizzas, one with garlic basil olive oil instead of pizza sauce, as it's listed on the menu. The gal taking the order want sure but then found the option in the computer system and completed my delivery order. I also ordered 2 house salads and a sprite. Said it would be 30-35 minutes. 30 minutes later my phone rings and it was them saying they didn't have any olive oil. I asked if they could cancel that one pizza and make a larger size of one of the two others I ordered but they said no because the others where done already. Why would they wait until the others where done to call me? ! I just cancelled the one pizza. Then, the order finally came. .. almost an hour after we first ordered. They forgot our sprite and the 2 house salads had meat on them and none of the toppings described on the menu. I checked the menu again, confirmed they sent us chef salads, not house, and called them. They claimed all their salads had meat on them and I asked why that wasn't on the menu that way. The gal that I was talking to kept asking another person, a male, all these questions and I could her him respond with a "I don't give a" attitude. The gal just parroted what he said to me. 10 minutes later they came back with the Sprite but pizza and salad was not what we ordered and the whole experience just sucked. I would highly recommend this business to anyone staying in the area! Amazing, helpful, great pizza and employees!!! I called in a order to be delivered to our hotel just down the road. Gentleman on the phone was very helpful in ordering. When the pizza got delivered there had been a miscommunication in ordering and one of them was wrong. I called back to explain the situation and the same gentleman I spoke with from before answered. He was so apologetic and very efficient in remaking it and having it deliver back to our hotel room immediately! Again if you are looking for a pizza, I would highly recommend them! read more

Our 4, is a 4 for Clinton. If you have tried to find a really good restaurant here, you'll understand that. We ate around 4:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. The wait staff was very nice. The salad bar extra fresh. Our pizza was good. About what you would expect at any Mazzio's. The restaurant could have been a little cleaner, but it was clean for how old it was. The food here can be pretty inconsistent. When it's good it's a decent pizza. When it's bad you'd be better off eating your shoe with some ranch. They are also bad about randomly leaving off half the ingredients on a specialty pizza and don't seem to care or make any apology. I'd say your best luck is go for the buffet. This is my favorite pizza in this small town, and usually they do a decent job. Although, I tend to order during the lunch hour from 11-1:30. I. get my order delivered because I am stuck at my job and can not leave. EVERY SINGLE TIME I ORDER THE ORDER IS MESSED UP!!!!!! First time, my pizza took two hours, for me to get it. I called after an hour and the girl told me they forgot to put the order in. Then, another hour to get it. Again another day, I order and ask for soda. And when they bring me the order, they have forgot my soda. Then the driver asks, "do you want me to go back and get it?" I told him, "yes I paid for it. Don't you think I should get it?" Then left and got it which was good but it's annoying and i get hangry! read more

Horrible service. The ONLY reason I gave them any stars at all is because I could not post this review without at least a one star rating. We stopped for a late dinner. The waitress forgot to put in half of our order. We never did get our pizza. It's not like they were busy they only had two other tables with customers.....who all got thier food before we even had the half of ours that they actually gave us.
