I was here on a snowy Saturday afternoon.the place was empty.for the most part. Service was quick to take my order. It was taken by the owner himself. I ordered the pizza steak sub. I made changes to suit my liking. They were very glad to do that. My sub came out in great time. It was made in a home made roll. It looked very good and I felt the value was there. Flavor I can be very picky on. The flavor was good. I did feel it was missing something. Not sure if mas the way I ordered it. But if did lack some flavor overall. I would order it again. The owner himself was very nice. For the record this place is now called Mazzone's Pizza. It is owned by the same gentleman for the past 8 years. The only changed the name. I do recommend this place. The overall experience was positive.

Wife and kids visited me at work and I took them to lunch here. Almost regretted it instantly after walking in. Very small, and didn't even notice the small side dining room until we left. Very much gave the impression of being strictly a pizza place and I was worried about the Italian food we came to try. The menu was also very simple looking and didn't inspire a lot of confidence. Family felt the same and went with the chicken cheesesteak, turkey sub, and two slices of meat lover's pizza. I figured I'd give the real food a try and I love bolognese, so went that way. Wife and daughter were both very happy with their hot and cold subs. My son eats A LOT and still was only able to eat one of the two pizza slices. The pizza was really good - we all took a bite to try. As for the Italian food... I only tried one dish. I won't say it was the best bolognese I ever had, but it was very good. And they either found some store that sells irregular pasta, or they made that pasta themselves. You can see the nice shapes but not identical forms of the pasta in the pic that smacked of homemade. The portion size was great for two meals, so I had it for dinner the next day, too. Very pleasantly surprised by this place. Greta experience, and I'm sure we'll be back soon. They should've gotten a larger restaurant seating area to show off the real menu, because they seem to take the cooking seriously. Not the absolute best Italian joint I've eaten at, but very solid and I'd like to explore the food again.

Don't get the bruschetta you will be disappointed.. the wait was very long. They brought out one dish and we waited another 10-20 minutes before our pizza came out. Not a good experience. Had to take our food to go‍‍the calzone was huge!! I ordered a small but I'm guessing they gave me a large

We were headed to Haar's Drive-in on a Saturday night and originally planned to get pizzas at Little Ceasars, but since they didn't answer their phone we decided to try a new place. And I'm glad we did because Ferrante's will be our go-to whenever we're in Dillsburg, PA! Ordered over the phone (they answered on the first call btw) and it was flawless - Pepperoni pizza, calzone, and tuna sub were our choices. The person who helped me (I assume was the owner) was super nice. Having lived in Naples, Italy, and Sicily, we had a nice, brief conversation, later to find out that he was stationed near the area I lived in Sicily. Ok, so the food...the pepperoni pizza had a regular crust, with the right amount of sauce so as not to make the crust soggy. My kids loved it as that was their choice, so that was a score. The calzone was ginormous (see pic) and was loaded with mozzarella and ricotta. The tuna sub was the star imo. Perfectly made tuna salad, not too much Mayo, loaded with lettuce and tomato. The bread was unique, but not in a bad way...it reminded me of an oblong shaped, fat pita, but it worked well for the sub! And the sub was ginormous, too! All the items we ordered tasted good and definitely with worth it. We'll be back for sure.

Tired of the BS upcharges…read more It's one thing if you need to charge a fee for a card or substitutions but at least let your customer know. And what pizza shop that sells stromboli charges you for sauce to go with it? I order a pizza and boli and am expecting $25-27 and end up with a bill of almost $35. absolutely insane. *EDIT* I was going to take this review down because after I arrived home with my order I received a call from a very respectful older gentleman who explained their position on things and while we didn't agree on some of it I at least respected him reaching out and trying to make it better. However, I need to address some of the inaccuracies posted by the owner in his response. I understand prices go up, I expected to spend "$24-$28" like he said, not $35. I did not get a large boli nor did you make it bigger at no extra charge. I get that nothing is free but at every pizza shop I've ever visited they give you a side of sauce with a Stromboli. If you want to charge for it, fine. Make it known when you order, not when I've already handed you my card and then you ask "will you need sauce for this?" Finally, never was I offered a refund for anything, especially the sauce. I was told you had to charge for that but I could receive a discount on my next order for the charge of a substitution that the gentleman said I shouldn't have been charged for. So you offered me $1.50 off my next order, not a refund. Since I won't be coming back after the condescending response by the owner, this does me no good. I had planned to give you another shot based off of the phone conversation but then to just make excuses and be petty online, I'm done. I'm ordering from Mazzone's today because honestly, the quality is better and I'll pay more for quality. (And they didn't charge me extra for sauce or a substitution on my sub) Plenty of places stay in business with average food, that being said, I am going to change my review from 1 star based off of the overall experience to an honest representation of the food itself. So best of luck in the future Millennium, I'll go elsewhere for better customer service. Congrats on your 3 star pizza.

I was craving pizza, my adventure buddy was craving a cheesesteak, and this seemed like the perfect place to satisfy both. Parking is street-only, but it's free after 5pm, which is a win for dinner plans. I managed to snag a spot right out front without having to parallel park or circle the block, which honestly felt like a small victory before the night even started. We had planned to meet at 5:30pm, but due to a slightly delayed adventure buddy situation, we walked in closer to 5:45pm -- right at peak "everyone else had the same idea" time. The place was absolutely PACKED. There was one table left in the main dining area (which we grabbed immediately), though we were told there was additional seating in another room. From our table out front, we had a full view of the action...which turned out to be both entertaining and a little telling. Going into the evening, I had already done my homework (because of course I did) and had spent the week narrowing down my order. Everything on the menu sounded incredible, but I ultimately landed on the Broccoli & Sausage Pizza Bianche -- a white pizza topped with mozzarella, broccoli, sausage, chili oil, and burrata. My adventure buddy chose the standard cheesesteak (hoagie roll, onions, provolone), which was exactly the level of culinary risk I expected from him. It quickly became clear that Nonna Ilva was significantly understaffed that evening. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order, and the three staff members we saw were absolutely hustling -- managing the dining room, takeout orders, and a steady stream of DoorDash pickups. They were working hard, but there were simply too many customers for the team on hand. When our server did make it over, we placed both our drink and food orders at the same time to avoid any additional delays. About 20 minutes later, the cheesesteak arrived -- hot and solid, though a bit more straightforward than expected. Despite ordering it with onions, it came out fairly plain with just steak and cheese on a toasted roll. Flavor-wise, it delivered, but it didn't quite stand out. About 10 minutes after that, my pizza arrived -- and WOW. Absolutely stunning. Piled high with sausage, broccoli, and burrata, and finished with a generous drizzle of chili oil, it looked every bit as good as I had hoped. The timing, however, was a bit of a letdown. My adventure buddy had waited to eat until my food arrived (a noble decision), but by the time the pizza hit the table, his cheesesteak had cooled off quite a bit. Not ideal, but we made the best of it. Now let's talk about the pizza -- because this is where Nonna Ilva completely redeemed itself for me. I have been on a lifelong search for a truly great white pizza, and more often than not, it's been a disappointment -- bland, oily, and clearly an afterthought on most menus. But Nonna Ilva? Nonna Ilva cares about white pizza. This was hands down one of the best white pizzas I've ever had. Perfectly balanced, flavorful, and clearly crafted with intention. The chili oil brought just the right amount of heat, the sausage and broccoli were generous and well-distributed, and the burrata? Game changer. I've never seen another local spot incorporate burrata into a white pizza like this, and it absolutely made the dish. This is the white pizza I've been searching for. The kind I will go out of my way to come back for again and again. Unfortunately, the service side of the experience just didn't match the quality of the food that night. The staff was clearly overwhelmed, and it showed throughout the entire visit. Even paying the bill proved to be a challenge -- we eventually walked up to the register and waited in line with DoorDash drivers just to close out. We still left a good tip because the effort was there -- the team was working hard -- but the overall experience inside the restaurant felt chaotic. I had originally planned to grab dessert from their case, but decided to skip it and head elsewhere given the situation. Next time? I'll absolutely be back for that pizza... but I'll likely go the takeout route like many others seem to be doing. Because while the service may have struggled that night, the food -- specifically that white pizza -- is 100% worth coming back for!

They had a…read morereservation ready for us, but honestly, the place was basically empty when we walked in, so we had the dining room to ourselves until about 6pm. Quiet, cozy, and perfect for some pre-weekend indulgence. The staff were wonderful--super friendly, checked in just enough so we didn't feel neglected, and honestly went above and beyond. My favorite part? They boxed up our leftovers right at the table. I don't know why this feels like such a rare treat, but I adored it. We started with drinks--an Old Fashioned for Adventure Buddy (classic) and a Blueberry Lemonade cocktail for me (fancy, fruity, perfect). Then we jumped into the food. First up: Bosco Bruschetta ($14). Porcini mushrooms on toasted bread, shaved Parmigiano, balsamic drizzle...and SO MANY MUSHROOMS. Creamy, rich, and overflowing off the little toasts. Highly recommend. Like, I'd go back just for this. For dinner, I went with the Eggplant Parmigiana ($24). This was a serious dish--lightly breaded eggplant layered with marinara and mozzarella, plus a huge side of pasta. The eggplant itself was perfect, not just drowned in sauce, and came in its own bakeware dish. I ended up taking about two-thirds home, which I have zero complaints about. Adventure Buddy had the Gnocchi Sorrento ($24) and added a filet mignon. The gnocchi were like little pillows of happiness, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the filet came out exactly medium-rare. Chef knows what's up. We couldn't resist dessert--a slice of chocolate peanut butter to split. SO good, and surprisingly light. Honestly, I could have eaten the whole thing (and, mostly did). Also, shout-out for the bread and dipping oil they brought out right when we sat down. I was starving, as usual, and that little gesture made me very happy. Total bill came to $132 with tip, which is really reasonable for the portions, quality, service, and slightly upscale-but-not-stuffy vibe. Bottom line: Vissagio's hits all the right notes--delicious food, friendly staff, and portions that don't leave you crying into a tiny plate. I'll definitely be back!

Definitely the kind of place where you could split dishes or even get two to three servings out of one entrée depending on your appetite.
