I was here on a snowy Saturday afternoon.the place was empty.for the most part. Service was quick to take my order. It was taken by the owner himself. I ordered the pizza steak sub. I made changes to suit my liking. They were very glad to do that. My sub came out in great time. It was made in a home made roll. It looked very good and I felt the value was there. Flavor I can be very picky on. The flavor was good. I did feel it was missing something. Not sure if mas the way I ordered it. But if did lack some flavor overall. I would order it again. The owner himself was very nice. For the record this place is now called Mazzone's Pizza. It is owned by the same gentleman for the past 8 years. The only changed the name. I do recommend this place. Stopped into Mazzone's for lunch while we used the Tesla super chargers across the street. The owner was extremely nice, made recommendations and took our order quickly. We waited for our to go order and got a refill on our drink before heading out. We both got the meatball subs, and they were delicious! The bread was outstanding! The food here is average, as is the ambiance, it's a hole in the wall pizza place next to a gas station next to US 15. The convenient location is really the only good thing it has going for it. The service is not good. Staff is poorly trained and the establishment is sarcastic and rude to customers when they provide feedback they don't like. Wife and kids visited me at work and I took them to lunch here. Almost regretted it instantly after walking in. Very small, and didn't even notice the small side dining room until we left. Very much gave the impression of being strictly a pizza place and I was worried about the Italian food we came to try. The menu was also very simple looking and didn't inspire a lot of confidence. Family felt the same and went with the chicken cheesesteak, turkey sub, and two slices of meat lover's pizza. I figured I'd give the real food a try and I love bolognese, so went that way. Wife and daughter were both very happy with their hot and cold subs. My son eats A LOT and still was only able to eat one of the two pizza slices. The pizza was really good - we all took a bite to try. As for the Italian food... I only tried one dish. I won't say it was the best bolognese I ever had, but it was very good. And they either found some store that sells irregular pasta, or they made that pasta themselves. You can see the nice shapes but not identical forms of the pasta in the pic that smacked of homemade. The portion size was great for two meals, so I had it for dinner the next day, too. Very pleasantly surprised by this place. Greta experience, and I'm sure we'll be back soon. They should've gotten a larger restaurant seating area to show off the real menu, because they seem to take the cooking seriously. I have always done take out. Our meals are always ready for us, and always tasty. We have had salsa, cheesesteaks, calzone, and pizza from Mazzone's. Always hot and very flavorful. And we do order jalapeño poppers often to go with our pizza. They are fabulous. I always feel welcomed as soon as I walk in for my take out. Everyone smiling and happy to be of service. read more

Ordered 4 subs & 2 large pizzas for a party. 3 Italian subs and 1 cheese steak, there was barely any meat on any of the subs. We get take out a couple times a month and never had any issues. We called after we got home with our order explaining we aren't happy the lady who answered the phone got extremely rude so I asked to speak with a manager she replied "not here bye and hung up" disappointed with the food but more so with their customer service! read more

Ferrante's is one of my family's go-to spots in Dillsburg. We often order takeout or have a nice meal dining in and taking advantage of it being BYOB. Tonight, I split a chicken parm sub with my dad and enjoyed fries on the side. The food was cooked quickly, packed piping hot, and cost about $33. Not bad to feed four people! I've also had their pizza, lunch meat subs, and fish subs. I would love to try one of their pasta dishes in the future! read more

We were headed to Haar's Drive-in on a Saturday night and originally planned to get pizzas at Little Ceasars, but since they didn't answer their phone we decided to try a new place. And I'm glad we did because Ferrante's will be our go-to whenever we're in Dillsburg, PA! Ordered over the phone (they answered on the first call btw) and it was flawless - Pepperoni pizza, calzone, and tuna sub were our choices. The person who helped me (I assume was the owner) was super nice. Having lived in Naples, Italy, and Sicily, we had a nice, brief conversation, later to find out that he was stationed near the area I lived in Sicily. Ok, so the food...the pepperoni pizza had a regular crust, with the right amount of sauce so as not to make the crust soggy. My kids loved it as that was their choice, so that was a score. The calzone was ginormous (see pic) and was loaded with mozzarella and ricotta. The tuna sub was the star imo. Perfectly made tuna salad, not too much Mayo, loaded with lettuce and tomato. The bread was unique, but not in a bad way...it reminded me of an oblong shaped, fat pita, but it worked well for the sub! And the sub was ginormous, too! All the items we ordered tasted good and definitely with worth it. We'll be back for sure. read more

What a great place for pizza in Dillsburg! We had a limited amount of time with six students after snowtubing at Roundtop. We were in fed and out in no time flat. We ordered a large cheese and a large vegetable pizza, it being Friday in Lent. The vegetable pizza was fantastic! I hope to get there some day when I can order the meat lovers, because that must be fabulous too! The service was great and the value for the money was most appreciated. the owner, cashier, had a smile on his face the entire time and made you feel as though you were the most important thing to him at that moment. To feed the eight of us was about $60 and that is a reasonable price for six middle schoolers and two adults with drinks. We will definitely return and make it a part of our snow tubing tradition. read more

Great subs. When I make a trip to New York I try to time it such I can stop here for lunch or dinner. The subs are quite good and the house made rolls are a great complement to the ample meat and toppings. Not sure if I have tried anything but the subs, but they are worth going for and reasonably priced given the size and amount of food. read more

We stop here every time we head north from Maryland on vacation, and have never been disappointed by the pizza. First, they use Grande mozzarella, which is simply the best, most consistent cheese in the marketplace. You will be able to tell the difference when it is hot in the restaurant, but also when you reheat it at home; the cheese holds up, well worth the extra cost over commodity cheese. They also use sliced sausage for topping pizza, instead of that crumbled crap. In all, a quality experience. The only thing that I would change would be the dining room. It is cavernous. LOVE! We were traveling and decided to stop for dinner. It's a pizza place with a restaurant on the side, with plenty of seating. It was nice since we wanted to get out of the car and stretch our legs. The food was so delicious. We ordered pepperoni pizza, Italian hoagie, chicken cheesesteak, fries, and mozzarella fries. The subs here are good! They're like the classic tried and true subs that you think of when you think of a good pizza place. The Italian with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo is my fav. The price is fair-around $6 or $7 I believe. You can call ahead and pick up your food on the way home or something so you don't have to wait so it's nice to have that fast service. Menu was pretty nice. I decided to go with their advertised Handcrafted italian specialties. I chose the crab ravioli and lobster ravioli even though i was told they were frozen and not made in house. So much for handcrafted. I don't understand why people use frozen when fresh pasta is not only much cheaper but is very easy to make and taste so delicious. Crab raviolis were very bland as i would expect for frozen food. Sauce wasnt terrible but also bland. Lobster ravioli didnt have near enough sauce and also bland from being frozen. Their housemade salad dressing was terrible. Just taste like straight vinegar mixed with oil or something. So gross. The only ok food was the sub i bought for my 4 year old. I wont go here again. Better food for the money other places. Who wants to pay $17 for frozen bland food? Not me. Felt like i wasted $55. Now serve me fresh made ravioli stuffed with ricotta,lobster and some basil or lemongrass and then were talking. So far so good. After switching from our old pizza joint to here, we haven't been disappointed. Good pizza, awesome mozzarella sticks. The seating inside is nice too, although we've only done takeout so far. The staff all seem friendly and knowledgeable, and we haven't had any mistakes yet.
