Best damn wings I've ever had. Extra crispy and cooked to perfection. Not giant wings like turkey legs some places have and not the little baby wings either. Perfect size. Lots of flavors. I like the spicy bourbon and the Goldilocks. Also Buffalo and BBQ sauce are good too. $1.00 wings on Monday after 1600 and all day friday. If you like wings this is the place! read more

A few buddies I was with wanted to go here for lunch. Against my better judgement, I agreed. I should have stuck with my instincts. This place was terrible, but not because of the food. I had the steak salad, and it was not bad. Big pieces of steak that were cooked as ordered. The queso dip was pretty bland. But the chips seemed to be fried fresh because they were hot. Like I said, the food was fine. Unfortunately, it was the establishment itself that was the issue. As soon as you open the door, you get assaulted by cigarette smoke. If I had known they can smoke in there, I would have never gone in the first place. I cant stand that stuff!!! The actual dining area was pretty small, something like 2-3 small booths and two 6 man tables. Unfortunately, the table in front of mine was smoking like a West Virginia Coal plant. The lights were turned down low as if it were a Friday night at 11 pm, not a Thursday at noon. I actually like to see the food I'm planning to eat. Call me old fashioned . You can smoke inside. Military Mondays although not as busy as you'd think but nice if it were. They have steamed burgers which you cannot get anywhere else. Pretty amazing and very inexpensive. If I lived in the area I would def frequent this dive bar. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. read more

Pros. The Bar Tender comes out to serve! The Bar Tender makes you feel as if you are family. Fridays they serve a fish sandwich that is as big as a sub sandwich! Nice location on the edge of a military base. Cons. I don't smoke and I don't like to be around smoking people. There seems to be no none smoking section. I can't tell you how many times I've driven by this place and not gone in because of how it looks on the outside. Our friends were in a pool league being hosted there so we finally stopped in. Not a huge fan of bars that still allow smoking, but they had good ventilation and it wasn't overwhelming. The food was absolutely delicious and the girl working the bar was super friendly and attentive. I would definitely come here again to shoot some pool and eat some food. read more

Delicious!!! And nutritious lol well I do not know about nutritious but definitely delicious! I got lemon pepper wings and hubby got spicy bourbon... which isn't spicy at all:-) still very good tho! I'm a local for a year now... I'll say that the food is good but the service, depending on who waits on you is fair to midland, and the management (or at least some of it) sucks . I thought I found the perfect place for good food at a reasonable price until recently. The last three visits, I've been very disappointed. The first time, I placed my order for a simple salad and got it around 45 minutes later. The bartender, Heather, tried to take care of me since it wasn't my fault. Mind you, I never complained, and even told her that I didn't have anywhere to be so just let it go but she got the management to comp it. Thanks Heather! The second time, I went in for a beer that I always get and it tasted really off. I told the bartender and she relayed it to the manager who came and tasted the tap... smirked as he said it tasted fine to him. It was so bad that I asked the bartender to pour me a different beer, I'd even pay for the one that didn't taste right. When I got the check, she charged me (can't remember exactly how much) but it was between $10 and $12 (pitcher price) for a pint that I didn't even drink! Again, the manager came over and adjusted the bill but gave me a shitty look, like it was my fault. Tonight, at five after the hour, we ordered a hamburger pizza. We were promised it would be done in 25 minutes. After waiting thirty minutes, the bartender came out and said 'sorry, we have a new cook who made you cheeseburgers.' She apologized and said 'give us 10 minutes'. A total of 55 minutes later, we got the pizza we ordered. This place was really good at first but now it seems to cater to only locals, and even after a year, I'm clearly still not. They obviously don't need our business. Pros: Reasonably priced but make sure to check your bill before paying, very good daily specials, pretty good food. Cons: Smoking is allowed inside, all customers aren't treated equally or fairly by both management and some of the staff. read more

Shrimp Po Boy with Cajun remoulade sauce and tartar on the side! I finally remembered to get a picture before I devoured it! I get here at least once a month sometimes more if I can. The food is 5 star excellent, the staff is all great; they treat you like family and amazingly the prices are right. They have great daily specials or you can order off the regular menu; either way, you can't go wrong! I've never had anything bad here and actually when you fast the food; you will think your downtown but don't pay downtown prices but they could easily charge more and you wouldn't complain. I've had their nachos, quesadillas, Philly cheese steak, fried pickles, fish tacos & more but this is my favorite....yummy! Kudos to the chef. I occasionally get to eat inside which makes it even better having the food come right too you but I mostly have to get it Togo. I'm a non smoker and highly allergic to cigarette smoke and since they still allow smoking I can't go in on a busier day/night. Getting it Togo, it's always great too. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. We placed an order for wings to go. The server (J) repeated the order back to us correctly. After waiting 45 min, we took the wings home as planned. When we were home we realized the wings were not the correct flavors and were missing half of the correct ones. The french fries were tasteless and soggy. We called, spoke with the server and she assured us it would be okay to come in a few days to have the missing wings replaced. I called as planned and the manager and waitress said they have no record of this and will not be replacing the missing wings we paid for. They have record of our payment but refuse to do the right thing and honor what their employee guaranteed us. read more

I also really enjoy the juke box because you can control it with your phone so you don't have to get up to put quarters in it. The pool tables are a nice addition too! My hubby and I love going here a few times a month. Although there is smoking, they do a good job at keeping it neat. Looking at the reviews I thought the food was gonna be at least decent, but big mistake. I ordered a small Hawaiian Pizza, order of Teriyaki Wings, and a order cheese sticks. When I went to get it, the lady at the bar was really nice, and had my order ready. The person that cook it was sitting at the bar and was nice too, but his cooking skills are not that nice. Even tho the service was great, the food was absolutely disgusting. The Cheese Sticks were fried in oil that was hasn't been clean in a long time, you can taste it. The Pizza was absolutely horrible, it does have a lot of cheese, but the taste was really bad, it it was horribly made. The only thing that I ate were the wings. The sauce was decent, but the dressing seems to be home made, and it wasn't good. This place is a hole in the wall, and disgusting! My wife and I went on a Friday night and felt like we needed a shower after leaving (maybe 6 minutes after arriving). The place is literally falling apart, the bar is "fixed" by covering it with plywood, the glasses were filthy, it's the kind of place where you expect drugs to be sold and used..openly!! What drove us over the top in our 6 minute, 1 drink visit was the "bartender" not knowing what a "neat" Jameson was and then serving it in a plastic cup "because the other ones were in the sink". I haven't and would not try any of the food there just by the looks of the place INSIDE and OUT, but I am sure frozen food is good to drunks, Yeah, if you like drunks stumbling everywhere, cigarette smoke filling the air and your lungs, grunge, grime, and just a literally dirty place where you will feel like you are in a garage....it's your place, but definitely not mine. Rather go downtown and overpay for a clean glass, good bartender and nice atmosphere. It is important to know that this is a smoking location. Everyone was smoking when we came in. I wasn't even sure if they served food until we asked the bartender. The Pub was pretty busy with an early afternoon bar crowd. It wasn't beautiful, but it was friendly. We ordered the lunch special (we weren't offered menus), which was sliders and fries. They were delicious, with fresh onions and cheddar cheese, and crispy fries. For two specials and two Yeungling beers, we paid $24.00. I don't know if I would become a regular there, but if you want cheap, tasty food or want to have some beers with locals and ex Navy, you will probably enjoy yourself. read more

The glasses were dirty and the service was terrible. All the bartenders had complete garbage attitudes. Waited 25 mins for 12 wings and they completely forgot my cheese sticks. After waiting another 20 mins i got the cheese sticks and they were cold. The bar wasn't even busy. When i asked for the manager i was pointed in the direction of a man who was sitting at the bar drinking. From what i could tell he had been there awhile and was quite a few beers in, not very professional in my opinion. This bar depends on who's working. It's never great but it's rarely terrible. Food is what you would expect from a local dive bar. Although from time to time it can take awhile for your food to be delivered. A few young sailors, pool league players, and older locals make up the customers. I recommend paying attention to what taps are being used as the kegs are some times skunked. If your looking for some place quite to grab a beer this place will work.
