I've been here twice for other people's birthday parties. Our party both times was around 8-10 people. The service both times was spot on. My last time was during December 2025, and we were seated at 5 PM and walked out at exactly 6:30. That's drinks, apps, food, a quick Happy Birthday, paying the bill, and out the door in an hour and a half flat. Perfect! Now onto the food. I have loved my food both times. I didn't want to have a ton of leftovers this time, so I opted to get a side salad and a side of lobster Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is a must order! The cream sauce is super flavorful and the whole thing just works. And if you order an app, try their loaded country chips. It's fried potato chips topped with ground beef, bacon, sour cream and cheddar. It's cheesy potatoes. How can you go wrong! I'm excited to return soon! read more

Montana's is a country style steakhouse. We got there around 6 on a Saturday and the parking lot was slammed, but thankfully there wasn't much wait to get a seat, probably 15 minutes or less. When we were seated, we were given our menus as well as a piece of paper warning us of a long wait. While that's not a great sign, honestly I prefer to have that expectation set up front and having the chance to say "nah, not for me" rather than being grumpy about the wait. I highly suggest that you take this seriously and get appetizers. We ordered the nachos and they were pretty decent. Beef was nicely spiced with taco seasoning. The sign told us 10-20 minutes for the appetizers, I think we were closer to 30, but we knew to not expect super speedy food so I can't be mad about it. It took 50 minutes from the nachos to get our entrees (I wasn't timing it, but I took the picture of the nachos and it had the time on it), which was riiiight about what we expected from the sign we had been given. Again, setting expectations goes a long way to minimizing disappointment and Montana's did well here. My son liked his burger and fries. My daughter said her fried chicken sandwich was fine. My ribeye steak was roughly equal to what I would get from a place like Texas Roadhouse or Outback. It had a lot of seasoning which I was happy with and was cooked properly, but wasn't the most tender ribeye out there. The Mac and cheese was super creamy which isn't my preference but it was a good version of that. The potato logs were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with. Ice flavor. But this goes back to expectations... my total bill for the three of us to eat massive portions of food was $72 before tip and including taxes. That is a phenomenal bargain for a massive 1/2 lb burger, a fried chicken sandwich that looked like two meals, and a big steak with two sides. The food was good and I don't need to add "for the price" to it, it was a good country style meal, and a great value, and the wait expectations were managed. Haven't had many restaurants so far in the Goose Creek area but this one definitely made it to my "need to return" list. Came here with a group of friends on a Friday evening and we had an amazing experience! Food was so good everyone enjoyed their meal as well as the portion size were generous. I got Friday special baby back ribs and boy did they fall off the bone. This was our first visit to Montana's and we will be back! Our server, I think her name was Casey, was very nice and attentive. Drinks came out quickly. I had hamburger steak with onions and gravy with salad and baked potato. It was delicious! The salad came out on a chilled plate. The rest of my order came out hot and flavorful. My husband had country fried steak with white gravy, fries, and green beans. Again everything was hot and freshly cooked! He said the green beans were the best he ever had. I truly appreciate that they cook food to order. It makes a huge difference in the temperature and the taste! Portions are large and we walked out with leftovers for tomorrow. Our first visit here was on Valentine's Day and they were slammed. They let us know that since all meals are made to order, there is typically an hour wait on the food. Super attentive, very friendly she should train servers that's how good she was. Just because of this reason I would've gone back to the restaurant even if the food was an excellent. I stared with the bom bom shrimps they were different and delicious. Then I waited for dinner. Before you are seated your warrant how long it takes for your food to come out. My parents recommended Montana's to my fiancè and I for a new date spot. They also ate here recently to try something new and loved it. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and constantly checked on us despite being very busy. I got the chicken salad and my fiancé got the bacon cheeseburger. It has been awhile since I had dinner at Montana's. I order the special a New York steak, shrimp, green beans and mash potato with white gravy. I enjoy the meal with the exception of the mash potatoes which had no flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly and the grill shrimp were large and tasty. More than enough to eat. Take home box in hand. Yesterday was my first time trying Montana's and the thing that struck me the most was how great the prices were. My Pork Loin Sandwich was only $10, an absolute steal for both how good it was and how much there was. The Midwestern pork loin sandwich was on my mind and I wanted to see how this compared. While not the large singular piece, the sandwich came with more than enough meat to satisfy. Great breading, cookednice and tender, dressed well, and in good bread. Absolutely fantastic sandwich. All burgers and sandwiches come with a side of fries, mine were a bit salty and there wasn't a ton of them (but I would say a bunch wasn't needed with the size of the sandwich). We had also gotten a 12 oz steak and a country fried steak (I tried the latter and it was good as well), both of which came with your choice of two sides, both got mashed potatoes (I wasn't really impressed by the mashed potatoes or the gravy, they were okay) and side salads (I didn't try but they looked fresh, were completely eaten, and there were no complaints. It didn't take too long to get our food and the other diners all seemed to get their meals in a timely manner as well, even as the restaurant portion began to fill up. It is a bit small, you could almost say cozy, but it's very cold for here currently and we were sat near the door so got a chilly blast when anyone went in or out. The lighting wasn't too bad where we were, but further into the corner it was very dimly lit and I saw one patron using the light on their phone in order to read their menu. To summarize: Great prices, clean restaurant, fair service, good to adequate food, be sure to get a good table. A good place to pick if you want to eat out on the regular. read more

We stopped by for a casual dinner and were we treated!!! We had the ribeye steak and added shrimp. WOW The shrimp were fresh and ample, the steak was good quality and great taste. The mac and cheese side was amazing as were the green beans... To make our dinner even better, we had the fresh banana pudding to top it all off. We gobbled up everything before I could take pix! I love this place so much! Everything we ordered is to satisfactory. I would love to start with the Southwest Sampler which is an appetizer. My favorite on it is the pork fingers and the chicken fingers. They are both crispy and so tender on the inside. The flavor of the pork fingers is so good as well, not too salty and there is some fat that makes every bite so juicy. I can probably eat a lot of the pork fingers. I didn't care for the spring rolls that much on this platter because it doesnt have much flavor and not enough meat on the inside. I am asian so I know how my spring rolls are supposed to taste like but there is only like 2 of it on the platter so it didnt bother me much. My child got the mac n cheese, and oh boy she loves it so much. It is the traditional mac n cheese, super saucey and the mac is on the soft side. My husband is also a fan. I love my pasta al dente but with mac n cheese, I can tolerate soft pasta. My child almost ate it all and that makes a mom happy. I got the friday ribs special with green beans and coleslaw as my sides for main. The ribs are sooo tender and I love how you get 2 sides of the world with it. One side has only the dry rub and one side got the sauce. I should've gotten a whole rack. Flavor wise, it is pretty good. It lacks a little bit more of the smokey flavor.. but still I am very much satisfied. The coleslaw is very good! Not dry, veggies chopped the way I like it and a little sweet. Green beans is pretty good as well. Very soft, and light in flavor. The service is pretty good. Our waitress checked on us multiple times, refilled our drinks fast and asked how the food is. I love how they ask you to cut your steak open in front of them to check if it is to your liking (my husband got a steak). I enjoyed my first time in Montana's. We are sitted on the far right because there is so many customers but next time I wish to be seated on the main hall to enjoy more of the ambiance. read more

The food was delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the service was spot on. But, although I told the waitress that I was paying cash, the bill came with 4% Transaction fee (meant for C.C./Debit cards). Afterall, in Goose Creek they charge 11% tax and the resturant collects a tip of 20% from each patron when their party is 7 or larger. I get that, drunks stiff their bartenders and likewise dinner guests forget the waitress is performing a service when they refill your drinks and bring you fresh paper towel napkins. But when I again reminded her I was paying cash (and gave her a crisp Benjamin). She again told me the 4% transaction fee would not be included in the total and it would be taken off at the register. imagine how I felt when I received my change and the 4% wasn't taken off. Well, I feel cheated. I would like to ammend my review to include that at the bottom of the receipt the 4% transaction fee is added to ALL TENDER TYPES. So CASH OR CREDIT will be charged the extra 4%. Buyer beware! That was not explained to me at the time our orders were taken. read more

We had been hoping to stop by and grab dinner but had not been able to until tonight. The food was the best I've had in a really long time; my steak and the portions of sides were enormous and perfectly cooked. They're really busy but everything was still perfect. We'll go back and we will tell everyone we know what a good experience was.
