Corn dog fish, not EVEN what they advertised. Such a shame.
    Cynthia Z.

Only 2 stars because of the PB beer and server. What the hell happened to the fries??? I love the beer and the only way I could get my husband to come here with me (he doesn't drink beer) was the beer batter fries. Now you've done away with them????? Husband said no more eating here cause the fries are gross now. Haha I have to admit... the beer batter fries were the best in town so he's not totally wrong. Ryan was the best server, super helpful and nice. BUT they've lost us, our friends and family now. BTW the website has a beautiful fish and chip picture, it's not what they actually serve, false advertising at its finest. Such a shame.

Great atmosphere for a relaxed evening with a great selection of beers and food. Everything's done to perfection.

    Chicken and waffle board

We went in for late lunch on 12/24 and they were open until 7pm. The food was excellent as always but I'm always a little disappointed with the beer. It's not bad exactly, but not particularly good either. We went around 3pm and there weren't many there. It was self seating so we sat in the dining room instead of in the bar side. It was pretty calm but it took a little while for us to get menus. Once we did the service was pretty quick. I think they were a bit short staffed. My friend and I split a beer flight. I tried two IPA's and really couldn't catch the hints of what they said were the flavors. It just tasted like a plain IPA. I had one that was mango and another that was fruit punch. We sampled the blueberry sour. That one was pretty good but we didn't order that one. My friend got the strawberry lemonade hard seltzer and the sugar cookie lager(?). I wasn't impressed with the sugar cookie but the hard seltzer was good. My friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. It was a really nice portion size and she said the food was very good. I had the chicken and waffle board. That was EXCELLENT. The waffles we a bit more cakey than the usual waffle but they had bits of crunchy sugar. The chicken tenders were really good. They came with a hot honey that was quite good. It had a nice heat to it and wasn't overly sweet. It had a bit of a tang to it that reminded me of an Asian sweet and sour sauce. And it came with a couple of pieces of bacon. Overall as a restaurant, I really like the food and the location. As a brewery, I think the beer could be better.

I should have reviewed this place as I ve been here many times. Not only is their beer selection fabulous, as you might expect, but their food is too. They have even gone through a new cook or two but they maintain their high quality. One of our favorites is the BLT. You canebayflyer@gmail.com get this a lot of places but these guys don't skimp on the bacon. We always love their onion rings and now after watching a lady dive into fried mushrooms we are going to have to try them. I just had their Greek Salad and it was awesome. Give it a go, you'll be happy you did.

Good music, neighborhood bar/restaurant good food and beer. Fully stock bar and the staff are amazing. Local go to place with events happening almost every night of the week.

I tried three different beers. All three were delicious. I ordered some fried mushrooms. They were great! The fried cheese curds tasted like they just cut up some mozzarella sticks. The burger was very good. A shrimp poor boy was also good. I can't wait to go back.

The best-kept secret in Goose Creek: our own backyard brewery! This place has everything: colorful locals, imaginative brews courtesy of Sleeveless Dave, delicious bar food, quality live music, friendly staff, and a welcoming, relaxing vibe that will set you right at home and feeling welcome. The fried pickles and mushrooms are the best, and the fries are fluffy inside, double-crisp outside. If you're trying to be healthy, their salads are generous and hearty. If not, may I recommend the burger? I can't believe it's taken me so long to review this place, but keep the best close to the vest, eh? They got a Goose Creek Goose for your selfie. Look, don't touch! Congrats, you've just found your new favorite hangout!

Always Good Food & Great Times! Wonderful staff & management. Don't miss the Charleston Inspired artwork in their large back dining room. Very colorful & creative!

Stopped in for a drink and food on a recent weeknight for the first time at one of Goose Creek's newest establishments. I have to say - it's a breath of fresh air to see a non-national franchise pop-up in this part of Goose Creek (and loved the repurposing of the old firehouse) It was pretty quiet the evening we stopped in right after Christmas although there were several other patrons in the bar and a live musician entertaining us all with some solid 90s pop-rock throwbacks. My group all went with some drinks and the loaded fries appetizer to begin with and service was friendly and fast getting the evening started. The loaded fries were good but the Crispy Chicken Sandwich entree was even better! I loved the combo of fried pickles with whatever that magical spicy mustard sauce they topped that bad boy with was. I ended up asking for more on the side so I could dip the sandwich in it because it was so good! Definitely check this place out and support a local business the next time you're looking for a good meal in Goose Creek!

Stopped by Stones Throw to check them out, after seeing they finally opened after replacing wide awake brewery. There weren't too many changes on the inside from what I remember, which is awesome because there wasn't much needed to be changed. Stones throw has a very extensive beer list to choose from and the few beers I had were all very tasty. The food is also a great option. I ordered the old bay wings and cheese fries. The wings were fried a little too long in my opinion and there could have been more old bay seasoning used, but still very high-quality wings. The cheese fries are some of the best I've had in the area. I really appreciate that shredded cheese is used and melted vs. nacho cheese. There was also live music the night I visited. Overall a great place to visit. Plenty of space for big or small parties and awesome wait staff to take care of you. Visited 26 May 2023

Great place to stop for a beer and beautiful view of the Ashley River! Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice selection of crafted beer, with wine and non-alcoholic options. Informative and friendly staff! Highly recommended!

Came through on a Saturday afternoon, I'm glad Goose Creek finally has brewery! I liked the selection of ales, lagers - they also have IPAs and hard sparkling sips. Service was quick for the brews, Sarah did a great job checking in and bringing waters as well. Can't speak for the food but the beer is great! They got TVs, high top seats, bar area, and regular tables.

The indoor space features a big bar, TVs, arcade games, and even a small gift shop--lots to keep everyone entertained. Our food came out very quickly, but unfortunately that seemed to be because it was pre-cooked. The fries were lukewarm, and most of the items lacked that fresh, hot taste (the boiled peanuts were a delicious exception--super hot and spot-on). Overall, this is a great casual, family-friendly environment for hanging out and enjoying the vibe. Just don't go expecting gourmet food, and you'll have a solid time. Recommended for the atmosphere and drinks more than the meal.

We especially loved sinking into the comfortable rocking chairs, the perfect place to kick back with a drink in hand. It's so convenient, especially if you're visiting with your pup--you never have to leave them behind just to grab another round. The whole place has a fun, welcoming vibe with great music setting the tone. While we didn't sample the food this time, it was definitely tempting, and it's nice to know it's available if you want to make an afternoon of it. Drink-wise, Commonhouse nails it. While beer is their specialty (and they have a solid selection), they also offer a frozen drink and a few seltzers for those who prefer something a little different. And for the pups? They've thought of that too, with outdoor water stations so your dog can stay refreshed right alongside you. All in all, it's a truly pet-friendly spot with a laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer.
