The food is good and fresh and the drinks are not bad either, however where things get off track are those regulars who basically come off as owners of their area of the bar. My wife recently during one visit spoke with me about feeling a bit uncomfortable with one specific male individual who apparently kept embracing her in a manner she was not ok with. I spoke with the individual on our next visit at the bar and he again hugged her in a manner that neither one of us approved of. When I confronted the person he completely dismissed both our concerns and basically stated that how he was raised it was ok to greet a woman in that manner. I got angry and explained that this is a wife and not some bar chick and that we did not care for the optics of what he was doing. Long story short, one would believe that at a bar where a murder occured only 2 weeks ago people would be more receptive to toning down the riff raft and just enjoying themselves. Well my wife said she wanted to leave and we left after only one drink and I avoided having a physical confrontation with a person that is tone deaf.
