Remy was patient with him and very friendly. For the 1st hair cut my son refused to sit in the chair, but Remy improvised and gave him his hair cut while I held him in my arms. I tried going back to Remy for my son's 2nd cut, but he was closed on Sundays, so I tried someplace else and was told by this other Barber, at this other place, that he didn't "have time for that". I realize it can be challenging cutting kids hair, but this guys response was totally offensive to me. This Barber behaved like I was asking for a free service. This experience made me appreciate Remy's Barber Shop even more. And ever since, I learned Remy's hours, and I now I only bring my son here for his hair cuts.

I took the plunge and made an appointment on the Bugsy app which is very easy to use to make appointments. The day of my appointment I arrived and didn't have to wait that long. While I waited I checked out the decor. It is modern with soft colors of gray, not shiny. Some quotes are posted on the walls with a touch of nostalgia there's an old-fashioned barbershop pole, like this one This barbershop reflects good taste, excellent taste in its decor. But you know, us mama's got take our lil dudes to keep their hair looking tight. So in I'd come w my boy, and the entire vibe changed in an instant. They did this for every woman who walked in w her son, or any man who came in w an under-age young man. I always, always appreciated that. We were regulars and hence did witness on rare occasions things getting a little "out of hand". It was swiftly dealt w and the barbers always apologized. Ralphie's haircuts were always wonderful. It seemed almost all the customers were regulars. There was low turn over of the barbers and it was always great to hear who got married, who had a new baby, what grade the kids are now in, etc. We miss The Shop so much and have yet been able to find such a wonderful spot!
