Extremely poor customer service. Do not cater from here. They do not answer their phones and failed to fix a catering order. Rude and impolite employees who told me they do not have time to fix my catering order because it is rush hour. The staff cannot operate during rush hour and use that as an excuse for poor customer service because they cannot handle the stress or workload. We just finished my Physical Therapy and I saw Mcalisters right a cross the street. I asked my Husband to go there. We have had many visits in Shreveport area with fantastic good. I ordered the beef with gravy my husband also ordered this one. we drove home and had ate meal together. Both sandwichEd were very tough and I mean most of the meat was the end of the roast. Very disappointed my husband ordered his with everything on it once ope there was nothing on his sandwich. For the price of a 13 inch sandwich and being on a very tight budget. Food is excellent! The first experience, we ordered Uber Eats and had the food delivered. They didn't include the condiment requests and forgot my toddlers lemonade but that could be on Uber Eats also...who knows. Also menu items are $2-5 more expensive when ordering from the Uber eats app. FYI The second time we visited is what earned this particular location a 5 star review. We expected the food to be delicious as usual but the customer service is what garnered the 5 stars. Upon entering we ordered our food with Kayden the shift leader. She was kind, gracious, and offered a sample of the drink I ordered with out me having to ask. She gave us a heads up that the spuds would take longer than usual to prepare 7-10min. Granted we arrive about an hour before closing so we would have taken anything at this point. Our food didn't arrive at the same time but Brandon (our server) was most gracious about it. Giving my husband the full sandwich even though he ordered a half sandwich. THEN we he noticed it was missing the turkey, they not only remade the entire sandwich instead of the half but also fixed him an entirely new spud after he'd eaten about 75% of it. He went from hangry to happy within minutes. Brandon took the time to return with condiments and bring us Togo boxes even though they were VERY short staffed. Many of the booths hadn't been cleared or cleaned but they made our dine in experience memorable and pleasant. Give the night/closing shift employees a raise because they managed the restaurant as best they could while delivering the best customer service. Let me start by saying, I've frequented many McAlister's locations in the past, my most frequent would be Longview, Tx. Which in my opinion is the best McAlister's within the area. I've eaten a handful of times at the North Bossier location since I've relocated here and have to come to realize why it's never busy.. While it's always clean, 1. Most of the staff look unapproachable always seem to have a bad attitude. 2. The food is well below the standard of any other location I've visited. Sandwiches come with about half of the meat that's served at other McAlister's locations. The cookies are not made according to McAlister's scale, they are small and often crunchy. 3. The wait times are horrible. Under no circumstance should it take 30 minutes to get a sandwich and a bag of chips, or 45 minutes to prepare a salad? Unreal. Last week I spent 1 hour and 25 minutes in McAlister's 50 minutes of that was waiting on food. The other was used chatting and eating with my wife. Today I ordered togo, from the time I entered the building to order until the time I left with my food was 38 minutes. 1 Sandwhich, 1 bag of chips and 1 side of rotel cheese dip, cost me 38 minutes. For the life of me I cannot understand why this location is so slow with service. read more

Without a doubt the WORST McAlisters when it comes to their customer service. I ordered curbside and sit for 10 minutes after my food is supposed to be ready. Walk inside TO AN EMPTY RESTAURANT, with employees behind the counter on their phone. I told them I ordered a curbside order and the woman there gets an immediate attitude and tells me I have to call them to let them know I'm there because their camera is out. The camera has been out for six months now. Obviously this is nothing but an excuse. I waited over 20 mins for my order. Turns out they had a register problem and had to hand write a bunch of the orders for a bit. When I checked on the order, the hostess, Nancy, was very apologetic and had the order at the table in just a few mins. When she brought it she offered her apologies again along with a complimentary desert for the wait. When I turned that down she offered me my money back. WOW! I get the food and my money, too. I, of course, turned that down and thanked her for the offer. It's not every day that customer service like that is given. THANK YOU, Nancy, for making my visit. Update: I have updated my review. We've been back a few times a month since my last post and have noticed inconsistencies. One day they won't honor a free meal the same day it is earned, and another day they will. The chicken salad sandwich is either a decent size or super small. Sometimes the taco salad comes with sour cream and guacamole and sometimes it doesn't. I'm almost never given the same amount of chili or chips. It's frustrating. And since we usually order take-out, I am always having to double check our order before I drive home. Also- we bought the tea tumbler for $8.99 a few months ago and realized that it actually isn't so amazing of a deal; the tumbler holds less tea than the usual cup. read more

McAllisters has always been a fav for me but the Beene Blvd location has really gone downhill- BAD! My guess is the management (or lack thereof) would be the reason. The employees stand around visiting with one another while the eating area is full of dirty tables. Trash cans overflowing. The food takes forever to get after you order and when it comes it is either cold, missing items, or wrong altogether. Does anyone supervise? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that this place is a trainwreck! We excused this as covid craziness a year ago and have been back several times hoping something has changed but it has gotten so bad that most everyone stopped going there now and I completely see why. Every single time we have been there in the last year this has been the case. They will undoubtably end up closing their doors for good which is sad to me because they have great potential. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I've never left a yelp review but the public should be warned about how awful this place is. I called in a to go order and after a brief hold, he picked the line up and said nothing. I said "hello" thinking he picked it up by mistake. He said "yeah." I told him I needed to place an order to go and he said "I'm waiting." I immediately asked to speak with the manager. He was polite and apologetic. Against my intuition, I placed the order. My husband arrived home with roughly $30.00 of a $60.00 order. He described the conditions of this restaurant as follows: "You could tell just by the way the staff was dressed that this place was poorly managed. It was filthy inside. Vomit on the sink, no paper towels, and rust colored water coming from behind the mirror. The upside is that the staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. I over heard one teen arguing with the manager asking him why does he always have an attitude. I could see food waste in a dump barrel where the public could see it.
