Giving this place one star because zero stars is not an option. When we arrived, had my name put on the wait list, sat there for 30 minutes waiting to be called, watching other people get called back who came after us. When I go to ask, the rude hostess with a septum ring piercing tells me that she just doesn't know what happened and she doesn't know what she's going to do about it. So delicious, if a bit slow. I had the biscuits and gravy with the half order of biscuit beignets. Oh it was so delicious. The gravy had a good pepper flavor that was just delicious. The biscuit beignets were warm right of the oven and covered in powdered sugar. Oh my goodness I couldn't get enough. My only concern was the service. We sat at the bar and the two folks that took care of us,while they were very friendly, things were a bit slow. For context, we have been here before, but it has been about three years since our last visit. We were seated quickly, and our waitress, Amber, was friendly, attentive, and did a great job throughout the meal. The restaurant was a bit cool, but nothing unreasonable. Unfortunately, the food is where things went downhill. I ordered the Benedict Burger, a twist on eggs Benedict with a beef patty, along with a side of country potatoes. The beef patty itself was decent, but the rest of the dish missed the mark. The egg and ham were overcooked, and the sauce was supposed to be hollandaise, but it did not taste right at all. The pickle served with the burger was discolored and dry, which was honestly concerning. The country potatoes were undercooked and lacked seasoning. My wife ordered the country breakfast with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and country potatoes. She said the bacon was good, but everything else fell short. The sausage had an off taste that we could not quite identify, the scrambled eggs tasted like powdered eggs, and the potatoes were the same as mine, undercooked and bland. Overall, the service was great, but the food quality was disappointing across the board. My wife and I stopped here for lunch h while in to visit family. We were seated immediately, and our waitress Melanie came over immediately to take our order and answer any questions. Both of ours flatware were very city with bits of food still stuck the fork and had to be exchanged. Melanie got us a new set immediately. I ordered the Lemon Blueberry Pancakes with goat cheese and eggs and bacon. The pancakes were really good with the goat cheese, and the chicken sausage tasted great also, but the egg came out very cold. My wife had the city grits and thought they were great. It was my first time here, and my this place was nice. They paid careful attention to detail to decorate this place and make it feel so welcoming and inviting. The people who work here were super nice and greeted you right when you opened the door. I really wanted to order so many items, but it's hard to really enjoy your food and get your grub on when you're on a road trip. I had to try the biscuit beignets. Boy, oh boy, it was definitely worth the wait. It was so powdery, fluffy, and tasty. It didn't need any dipping sauce, but I think it's an orange marmalade that they provide. I can't say enough about this place. Hands down my favorite brunch ever. We used to have one in my hometown of Lufkin but it shut down and was devastated. Pictured is the limited edition soft shell crab and eggs with grits and buttered English muffin. Next time I'm starving myself just to throw down when I go back Staff was incredible. Very disappointing experience at the Bossier City location to say the least! I ordered some food for breakfast for my 8 years old daughter, and when the food arrived, it was missing all of the toppings ,and a side dish as well, and when I called the place, the manager, Johnny Walker ( real name ? ) immediately put the blame on Doordash, trying to have me believe that the online system used by Doordash canceled the toppings and the side dish without having any control over it and that unfortunately he couldn't help me and i would have to call Doordash to deal with this matter. I told him that I could come directly to the store and pick up all the missing item, as again, it was my daughter's birthday and she really was expecting her food as such, and he told me that it would be ok and that his name was Johnny Walker. When I arrived, there was no place to park so I left my car parked in a double lane and literally ran to the store in order to pick up the food, only to realize that nobody had a single clue of why I was there, I expressly told one of the girls in the front that I was here to pick up some food that was missing from my order and that I was parked really bad and that the manager was expecting me, which obviously didn't seem to phase her at all. I waited at least a good 10 minutes and nobody even tried to help me, but rather kept telling me that if i didn't need a table then I needed to step aside and go on the other side where the " pick-up " line is. While waiting and trying to keep an eye on the car to possibly prevent to get a ticket and make sure, from afar, that the kids were ok, I could see the manager walking slowly from the bar area, then back to the kitchen, stopping to talk to people, then go back to the kitchen, and not one even time did he come in my direction, he certainly never came to introduce himself, nor apologize for the messy situation, he never brought the food, nor anyone tried remotely to help me with my request, even after telling a third girl if she could check on the status on my food, showing me instead a clear indication that was annoying her, and i then realized that I was just wasting my time, standing in this place with literally nobody whatsoever willing to help my case. That's when I told the two girl at the front that I was very disappointed with this whole situation, and to told the manager , Johnny Walker, not to bother with the food and that it would be very unlikely that I would come back here, sadly, as this was one of my favorite place to eat with my family, and their answer was of course, as expected, a sour smile and a very fake " have a nice day then! " I have not received any calls whatsoever from the manager or from anybody at this point, and it is very clear to me that they just didn't care, i didn't matter at the time, i mentioned my daughter's birthday but it didn't matter, i mentioned i was parked in a very bad spot with the kids in the car, but it didn't matter, and hey, I was wearing my military ID around my neck, and that didn't matter at all anyway. Needless to say, I am done with this place, and I will make sure that everybody in my close circles know about this terrible experience, thank you so much for ruining what could have been a great breakfast for a 8 years old kid's birthday brunch! read more

I ended up waking up early to drive and before heading up to the casinos, I ended up eating here for breakfast. You can reserve your seat on Yelp since the line I am sure can get busy. I ordered the lobster omelet which came with country potatoes. One of the other server came up to me and asked if I wanted grits or potatoes and I do not recall saying I wanted potatoes to the other person that was serving me so I ordered the cheese grits. I ended up getting both the potatoes and grits both by accident and on top of that they gave me some free beignets with sauce to go with it. All for the cost of $17.00 which I was surprised.
