I want to give this McAlister's 5 stars BUT the customer service made me give 2. The restaurant has a table seated with 4 adults 2 kids, a walk in customer and myself (also walk in). They are not visibly busy. The young lady took my order in a rush, no smile, just a look of hurry up and order. The feel was not that of other McAlisters I've dined. It's now 7:49 they close at 10. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location.

Food is good right audience, good music always a good spot to grab something light to eat when you're on the go and let's not forget about the snacks lol

    Turkey on a croissant

Happened to drive past here, and decided to just pull in since it was convenient. What a GREAT decision! I had no expectations, so I ordered the turkey on a croissant with the honey mustard. That honey mustard was such an integral part of how great the sandwich was!!!! This was one of the best sandwiches of the year in this category. We ordered the lemonade and I'm SO glad we only ordered one to split. It was huge and sweet just the way I like it! I'm looking forward to my next order!!

This review is based on my online experience. I ordered my food online and the process was very simple. There is a way to add extras and also alter what you want regarding your food. If they do not have the option to add anything there is a comment space where you can write up to 20 characters. I guess it keeps people from leaving long instructions but also keeping it simple. For desert there are cookies and brownies to chose from. My all time favorite is the sugar cookie and the salted Carmel. They are always baked fresh! Also when ordering online you may choose the time frame you will arrive..go up to the front and tell them you have arrived

The "pick two" option. Country Potato Soup (cup size) and a French Dip Hot Sandwich, served with au jus and strip of pickle.

[Summary] I've had 7 check-ins for far here, because I have a flu, and I need soup, haha. They have a huge menu here--it's ridiculous. I grabbed the Country Potato soup almost every time! The texture and taste blends well! I've also had the Chili soup and the French Dip sandwich. The soup tastes great, but may get boring after a while, and the French Dip is okay. Service here is usually very friendly. [Location] If you see Bruster's, McAlister's is on its right. There's ample parking spots, and the location isn't very busy. [Food] Country Potato Soup: The soup is rich, and the texture is creamy and chunky, garnished with green onions, grated cheese, and bacon bits. It is very hearty and tastes amazing. I've only slightly gotten bored of it after having it for the 8th time! The "bowl" serving size is also very filling. It is served with Zesty saltine crackers Chili Soup: As what chili soup should taste like. I like it a lot. You might want to order a few extra baguettes, so you don't get bored--unless you breathe and sleep chili. French Dip Sandwich: Angus roasted beef slathered in melted Swiss cheese between a toasted baguette. "Au jus" dip complements it. The overall taste is decent, and tastes better with the au jus. I wish the bread is a bit toastier, but the angus beef is very thin and soft--almost melts in your mouth. [Service] Gets the order right every time, and everyone I've encountered is friendly. No table service, and just leave your plates on the table once your done!

Went at 2pm lunch line was kinda long but moved quick. Got the pick 2 for $8.29. It was a lot of food. Had the ultimate nacho shareable and southwest turkey on a wrap. Service was great and very helpful and attentive We will be back. Also has a drive thru!

I might be biased on this one. McAlister's is usually one of my go to places for lunch. I come here either after school, work, with friends, family etc. It just might be because of the simplicity and ordering their sandwich is always satisfying. This location is in Kennesaw on George Busbee Pkwy. It might be a bit hard to miss, but it is right by the Brusters plaza. Today, I ordered the Reuben sandwich with a potato salad side. McAlister always plate their sandwich really nice and they give a nice portion. Along with that, I always get the peach sweet tea because it is pretty addicting. Some tips, McAlister's just got their app revamp so now you can get rewards like free teas or other menu items. If you are just looking for a simplistic sandwich, find your closest McAlister's.

Some of the most bland food on the planet. I'm amazed how a sandwich could be so dull. Skip them and head over to Jason's deli.

The place was hopping with both dine-in and take-out orders, but there was an employee hustling to clean the tables on this Friday about 1PM. I managed to find a clean table and filled my cup while waiting (they have a Pepsi fountain machine). To sample a couple of different sandwiches I got a small Chicken Chipotle Crunch and small Grilled Italian with a side of fries. I should have gone with mini as small is quite generous and filling (see pictures). I liked the fried onions in the Chicken Chipoltle Crunch and most of the favor came from the sauce. The tomatoes on both sandwiches were a bit too pale and tasted watery. The Grilled Italian was definitely the more flavorful of the two with great seasoning on the meats. The bread was nice and soft. The side of fries were of the coated variety and were fresh, hot, and crisp with the breading having a great seasoning. All the hard surfaces and glass windows made for quite the echo chamber, and even with half the tables occupied the noise level was quite considerable. There is a variety of seating with bar, booth, and table (different sizes).

It wasn't very clean and barely any customers inside - mostly online orders Took about 20 mins for 3 sandwiches & large Philly cheesesteak fries The fries was such a tiny portion for the price, like half the box was filled & the meat was tough & dry The pastrami sandwich was really good though. The wagyu cheese steak was meh in my opinion, meat didn't really taste like wagyu But 3 sandwiches & fries $60ish seemed like a lot for the quality / quantity There's plenty of parking in the shared lot

This would reduce my commute to Roy's out in Smyrna and put them within five minutes of my office every Thursday. So yesterday, I headed over to Street Food Thursday and got in line. The first thing I noticed about Roy's was that the customer queue was longer than that of all of the competing food trucks. I thought to myself, "This is a good sign - they're already popular." This turned out to be an illusion of sorts. After hopping in line, I came to realization that the reason for the long line wasn't that more customers were being served, but rather that the line was slow moving. I watched as others walked up to other surrounding trucks and walked away with their food in minutes flat. I thought to myself again, "Well the only reason the line is slow moving is because they cook to order." Fresh food is good food, right? Wrong. When I unwrapped the sandwich, I realized it was completely tepid. I took a bite. My teeth took temporary pause at completely unmelted cheese (see photo). This unmelted cheese gave way (with much resistance) to some of the most flavorless steak I've ever had. Completely unseasoned. While the bread and onions were quite good, the sandwich was an utter disappointment. Was this the result of a cheesesteak never being able to live up to my heady expectations? I unwrapped my second one (yes, I got two). It was just as bad as the first. Roy, if you're reading this, get some quality control on your truck. There's really no excuse for unseasoned meat and completely unmelted cheese.
