Stopped by around 8:30pm on a Wednesday night because my kids wanted it and we were in the area. I was not expecting it to be very fresh. I was blown away not only by the quality of the ingredients but the quantity. HUGE sub with super FRESH ingredients. My daughter and I split a giant Italian. My son got the big Kahuna cheesesteak. I have enjoyed a sub from this Jersey Mike's via take out, pick up and dine in...This particular Jersey Mike's is tucked in on the side of the large shopping center on Barrett Parkway that is anchored by the likes of DSW and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Parking can be tricky if you are looking to get right in front of the place. They share their little strip of the mall with several other spots that all stay busy. However, if the spots in front fill up, which they will, grab a spot in the massive lot the shopping center has! Service has always been decent here. When doing dine-in or take out, the employees are helpful and friendly. Never any issues or attitudes provided as a side to my sandwich. I will say that on one of my online order pick ups, we did run into an issue where they did not have multiple of our ingredients, including bread and instead of reaching out they went ahead and made our sandwiches sans particular ingredients as wraps and explained when we arrived. Given that we love Jersey Mike's for a multitude of reasons, including the bread, we probably would have decided to go elsewhere for dinner if they would have given us the heads up. Overall, we enjoy this location of JM and will certainly revisit when the craving hits and we are in the neighborhood. read more

Let me begin by saying that I love Jersey Mike's. I usually visit the one on Sandy Plains and Roswell Road. Today's visit was more than I could take. I think they might actually do the opposite of your notes. At least that has been my experiences. If you're watching them make your sandwich you can coach them through it. So this was the first time I had been to a Jersey Mike's location and I'm not in a big rush to go back. It's not the food but the workers. I dealt with 3 guys - one took my order and sliced the bread, meat, and cheese, the next built the sandwich, and the third rang me up. If I didn't know better, I'd swear they were zombies. I mean expressionless and oblivious to simple common courtesy when told thank you, etc. I had the sandwich to go and it was a typical "Italian" sub. Jersey mikes is a little different from subway subs where they have a hot sub menu that is so good. Philly cheesesteaks and chicken Parms that are delicious and the cold cuts are slightly different because the cheese and meat are sliced right in front of you. I think that makes a difference in other pre packs meats like subway offer. The prices are slightly higher but good size portions I think it's worth the price and the staff is so friendly and helpful and it wasn't just us I saw and watched other regulars and seniors get amazing service. They also do Bert's big adventure which is really touching so support these guys! read more

We get to the door, he enters first, just behind him are a Caucasian male and female entering too. Being a gentleman since my co-worker has already entered I let them go in front of me. I stand in front of my co-worker as he orders, she then skips me to take the other 2 peoples order. I say to her "I don't know why you skipped me" to no response. I'm in town on business from Houston and decided to try this place for lunch. While there are a few Jersey Mike's back home, I had never tried it before. For reference, I am comparing my experience here to Jimmy John's, my favorite 5 star sandwich shop. Let's start with the sandwich - I ordered the Italian to compare to the Italian Nite Club I get at Jimmy John's. Bread and meat were of subpar taste and quality - there was also a TON of vinegar on there, and the vinegar ain't good either!...they use an olive oil 'blend', lol - cheap, a recurring theme here...Honestly, I prefer Subway. I ordered the meal combo w/ chips and drink to the tune of $10.01 - then when you pay there's a screen to leave a tip - again lol - I just paid ten bucks for subpar food and you want a freakin tip for the :30 seconds it took to make the sandwich?...lol Then I got an iced tea and they don't even have the sweetener there- you have to ask for it - cheap The napkins basically dissolved on contact so I had to use like 5-6 - cheap I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and they had a faucet you have to press down to get 5 seconds of water - the paper towels were crap too - cheap - good thing I didn't have to go #2 cuz the tp looked cheap too! So you may think it's me who's cheap to be nitpicking, but remember, I'm comparing everything to Jimmy John's which is less expensive, MUCH Better tasting, and they have better napkins, tp, and faucets - lol Suffice to say, I won't be trying the Houston Jersey Mike's anytime soon. read more

Good food but horrible service at the register by Michaela. She was unfriendly, didn't give our drink cups, and just stood there staring into space. When I asked for cups, she ignored me. When the sandwich maker said, Michaela, cups!, the cups she handed me were greasy to touch. I passed them back across the register to her and helped myself to ones. She never said a word. Was initially greeted (not greeted) by a female employee headed to drink station who shouted to someone in the back. I was asked if I wanted a drink and chips with my sub. I said yes because I wanted a cold soda. I try the ice machine countless times with no success. An employee walks in with a large bucket of ice and brings it to the back. The manager on duty then proceeds to tell the next customer that he recommends no drink because they don't have ice. I then asked the employee if they had any ice at all. She says " no im sorry we dont". Well they did and I saw it get brought in. Manager did nothing at all to compensate my purchase. However they do greet with a smile & make sure you're not in there any longer than about 5 minutes .
