Came in Friday Dec 13th, 2024 around 7pm. Place was busy due to Friday night crowds and wait was about 35 minutes. We got a table and ordered drinks and food. I had a BLT with fries which was ok. We also did an appetizer of the soft pretzels which were good, and also one of us got the fried mushrooms appetizer which was excellent. Our server was very slow, though they had plenty of waitstaff present. My bill was $55.58 and I gave my debit card to the waitress but decided to pay bill and tip with cash so I left $70 cash with the receipt; was dismayed to find out they not only took my $70 but ran the $55.58 on my debit card. That's the last time I come here. Anyone would know not to run the card when the bill and $14.42 tip were left in cash with receipt on the table. I'm done with this place. read more

Honestly I really liked going to this restaurant specifically for the buffalo chicken dip. That was my favorite thing on the menu. I regularly went there just for that. They took it off the menu to where you could only order it for 2 weeks and now it's gone. The other food here is mediocre so now I have no reason to go. I am upset because that buffalo chicken dip was so good and the only thing I truly enjoyed eating here. Now I can't even go here anymore because they took it away. read more

First time at Jefferson's in Cartersville, GA. Quant place set in an older, historic building that comprise the square. Small seating areas upstairs and the cellar. We had a cellar table in about 5 minutes which was nice because it was quiet down below. Upstairs much livelier. Staff was friendly. Drinks and appetizer was quick to the table. Waters, soda and a draft beer were ordered; all drinks cold as they should be. Appetizer was hot and tasty. Entrees took a bit longer to arrive. Overall food was pretty good. I had double dipped wings and the homemade Mac n cheese. I'll admit I'm a Mac n cheese snob and this was pretty good stuff. I would get again anytime. The double dipped wings were different but very good. Never had a wing cook this way and I was impressed with the crunch and flavor. My wife had a side salad and traditional wings with Mango Habanero sauce on the side. We shared the wings so I tried these also and it was good. Their Mango Habanero is a sweeter sauce with a tiny underlying heat. If you're looking for an easy on the palette sauce this is great. If you want heat try a different sauce. My daughter had the Jefferson burger with tater tots. The burger comes the standard items plus bacon and bbq sauce. She said it was very flavorful. My son in law also had the double dip wings and liked them too Overall a great experience. Lost one star due to the extended wait time for our entrees but will return. read more

Came up to visit family in Cartersville. Cartersville is a nice historic downtown, and Jefferson's is a few steps away from the town square. The interior is like many sports bars, adorned with sports team memorabilia, tvs, high tops, low tops, a bar, and most uniquely the walls are adorned with signed dollar bills. The menu has much of what you'd expect at a sports bar: Burgers, wings, wraps, tacos, fried appetizers, and a assortment of draft and bottled beer, and mixed drinks. We were seated almost instantly and we had our drinks and order in in 5 minutes. Food was ready out in about 10-15 minutes. Kate took our order and she was friendly, personable, and friendly.great service, she checked on us and promptly met all of our needs. Food was pretty good, I had the boneless wings with fries. I split the flavors and got the mild heat and ranch wings. All in all, I had a good experience here. It's a nice little cozy sports bar. I'd come again. read more

Yall, this place always turns our day around. The food has been great each time we've came and the service is even better. We came into Jefferson's after a highly unfortunate situation at another restaurant/sports bar down the road and let me tell you our server, Katie, was phenomenal. We have been lucky either to have her serve us the past three times we have been there and she is always amazing. We felt so bad coming in about 45-50 minutes before closing and she stayed and talked to us a little bit and made us feel right at home. The Cobb salad was massive and tasted super fresh. My fiancé got the double dip chicken sandwich and he devoured it. All of the staff were extremely nice even with us coming in with less than an hour before closing. Everything is great at Jeffersons, the only disappointment was you aren't making fried oysters and they were the best.

We were excited to try something new. Sat down and our waitress came right over, got our drink order and gave us a couple minutes to look at the menu. 30 minutes after we ordered, she came over and apologized for the wait, letting us know they were "short-handed"... you know, the same excuse every place uses these days to justify bad business practices. At the 55 minute mark post ordering, I asked the waitress to cancel our order. The manager came over and gave the same nonsense about being short staffed. The issue with that excuse is people who sat down after we ordered, all had their food. She should have been honest and said they lost our order and were getting it done asap instead of lying about it. read more

Nice little local spot that serves wings, burgers, and oysters. We stopped by in passing. We ordered mango habanero wings for our appetizer. They were okay. Not bad but they tasted like rub of the mill wings. Wings were served with tortilla chips but no salsa. (Were they just out of celery?) I ordered the grilled buffalo chicken wrap. I was happy with the flavor of the chicken and it was moist. Hubby said the jalapeño burger was ok. The jalapeños was fried so that added a different texture that he liked. My sweet potato fries were good and they came with some kind of cinnamon sauce that was freaking fantastic. We apparently switched waitresses during our meal but the second one was super nice and attentive. Nothing really awesome but nothing bad either. read more

My hubby & I were in Cartersville looking for someplace with descent food we could get fairly fast. Looked at the menu online & it looked pretty good. Atmosphere is ok, walls are papered in Dollar bills. Pretty bright inside for a bar. The first girl that sat us wasn't very friendly. The bartender came over to take a drink order, then brought us menus that I almost immediately wanted to wipe off with Clorox. I ordered a beer, he ordered 1.2 tea/half lemonade. The beer was warm, the glass smelled of dishwasher detergent. Husband said his drink was overly sweet. That should have given me a clue... Husband ordered wings, he said they were ok, nothing to write home about. I ordered the guacamole chicken sandwich. It was served a cheap hamburger bun. The guacamole was tasteless and runny. The chicken (battered and fried) was obviously frozen with zero taste. I took two bites & there was no eating it. Fries that accompanied it were undercooked and tasted of fish. This place was good! The fried pickles were delicious, and my buffalo chicken wrap was great! Waitress was nice and food wasn't too bad on price. The only thing I will say is that they could do with less chewy and salty fries, and the bathroom was a bit strange, but other than that it was good food! read more

I got the wings which were just ok. I got the mild sauce on my wings which was the perfect heat for me. However, they had way too much skin on them. I had to peel the meat off because the skin was too thick to chew. I also got fried mushrooms which were very good. The ranch dressing was really good and didn't taste like the bottled stuff. They should be extremely embarrassed about the tortilla chips they gave! They were so stale! Horrible! I would probably try this place again but would not get the wings. read more

We stumbled upon this place because there was a train blocking the RR tracks but so glad we did. We enjoyed eating here. The burgers were perfectly cooked. Traditional wings are large and sauced well. Beer was good. Service was excellent. We will definitely eat here again. read more

I give 1 star because that's as low as it goes. Service was bad claimed to be due to staffing (seems to be a good excuse) people came after us ordered were served, ate and left. We entered within 5 minutes of opening had to ask for waiter at 30 minute mark still not served at 6o minute mark. My wife and stepdaughter took theirs to go but you can't eat chicken wings and drive. Needless to say my first and last visit there. This is never a bad choice for me. I love Jefferson's. I got Cheese Sticks and the Pickle Burger with sweet potato fries. The Cheese Sticks are actually what cheese sticks are supposed to be: crispy outside, piping hot inside and stringy when you pull them away from your mouth. A+++! The Pickle Burger was perfection. It is a knife and fork burger unless you like your food messy. Sweet potato fries and dipping sauce hit the right notes without being OVERLY sweet. One of my favorite places to eat! read more

A really nice surprise in downtown Cartersville. It's your standard bar/grille, with a large menu. We came in on a Monday and found that it was $5 burger night as well as trivia night. This place is ok. The service is a bit slow and so is the food wait. I do like the interior and I bet it might be a rocking bar when it is full, but they need to up their game in better service! I had the 12 oysters and it was ok. They were a bit dense and not as fresh as you can get in Montgomery, Al. It came with crackers. Blah.
