She was quoted $12,000 for the repair and signed a contract she could not read. We later learned this price was nearly double what other licensed plumbers in the area estimated for the same work. When I contacted the owner, Robert Rutherford, to ask about the large price discrepancy, he stated that the employee who provided the quote was "from California" and had used California pricing. Robert ultimately agreed to void the original contract and issue a new one, but only after the cost was challenged. The project itself took weeks to complete, with multiple missed return appointments and repeated promises that were not kept. After the job was finally finished, construction debris--including lumber and a ladder--was left throughout the yard. My elderly grandmother attempted to clean it up herself until I contacted the company again. Although I was told someone would come the next morning, no one arrived until I called back later that afternoon. Robert Rutherford portrays himself as a man of his word who puts his customers first, but his conduct--and the conduct of his employees--demonstrates the complete opposite. Overall, the experience was stressful, drawn out, and required constant follow-up to get basic commitments fulfilled. I would strongly encourage others to avoid this business entirely and find someone more reliable.

When asked about a repair, the guy said, "...if we have the parts on the truck, it'll be $350...". Obviously, I didn't pay that as I felt it was extremely high. Sure enough, after they left with my $79 'show up and estimate' fee for 5 minutes of looking at my crawlspace and telling me, I called another plumber nearby. That plumber estimated $225. After calling the original plumbers office again and explaining the situation I just experienced, along with the estimate I got from the other place, the lady on the phone even told me it seemed high. Either this place has a technician problem of inflating their book price or they have a pricing problem overall. Unbelievable! Anyway, completely would not suggest this plumber to anyone. UPDATE: Owner Ricky called me, explaining their pricing structure and refunded my 'show up and estimate' fee. He was very polite and open about their structure.

I have always covered my exterior hose bibs with styrofoam and have never had a problem. But today, upon returning home from church, the spigot was gushing water. When we questioned the large bill for not doing any service, the rep said we were over billed by tech. They said they would destroy the check in the techs custody upon return I g to shop. They asked for our credit card over the phone for the smaller correct amount. They later never destroyed the check and cashed it. We called and they said it was a mistake and they would issue a refund check in 3 days. 2 weeks later...nothing. Called again and told the One Service Pros merged with All Star and they had no idea. They would "research" the issue and call back. So far, nothing. Don't use them! They don't have good customer service and I'm sure the One service Pros knew when we called that they were merging with new company and didn't care to help use for double charging.
