Spoke with April (mgr) who patiently answered all of my questions. Told her I was really leaning towards a Yamaha (more with that later). She said no problem, take your time, gave me her card and said to let her know if she could help further. Now to the "later": I was back in Minnesota (October) when I tried contacting Bargain Carts many times.....First phone call: put on hold forever with no pick up. Second time, a few days later) Joe (apparently their only salesman) was on vacation but Dave would leave him a message to call me when he returned. Never called back. several days later tried e mailing my request.....no response Called again the next day and was transferred to Walt, who is apparently their accountant ( Joe was there but not available to speak with me). Asked Walt if he could sell me a cart....."no, sorry I am just the accountant". Tried calling again a few days later, same routine.....put on hold only to have Dave come back and say Joe was not available. Being completely frustrated at this point I asked Dave (mgr) if he could help......what a smart Alec, told me that the cart I would like would cost me a few hundred, then he could really help me out! Then proceeded to tell me that the starting price was $200 higher than any of the identical ones I was viewing on their website stated. (They show sticker prices on the web site, but none of the vehicles are in stock and the website is never updated). Further, told me the speed upgrade would also be higher than Yamaha's own website states. I asked him if the owner was there, as I would like to speak with him/her. He wondered why, and I said I have given Joe and his company more than enough opportunities to help me, but all I get is poor/unethical service. I hung up the phone, and not fifteen minutes later......guess who calls? JOE!!! Well, I certainly wasn't going to talk with him.......he left a message telling me to call him back with any questions........needless to say I did not, and oh by the way......Never heard from the owner. Bottom line: don't bother with trying Bargain Carts for any/all of the reasons stated here. Just go to ART'S CARS where you will be treated fair and square. Purchased a Club Car! No charge for speed upgrade, no charge for delivery, no charge to outfit the cart with nicer wheels, and seats..... I could go on and on.

Contacted them to paint and service a golf cart. They gave me a price of $649 and $99 respectively…read more Told me to come in to pick out a color but when I did, they didn't have a color book. I pointed out a golf cart in their showroom and asked for that color (Duke Blue with flakes). They said it would be done in a week and a half, maybe two weeks. After two weeks I called and they knew nothing about my golf cart but would "find it" for me. They called back and said they had no paper work on it but they did have my cart and it would be ready in a week. I called back in a week and they again said they knew nothing about it, had no paperwork, but would look into it. I told †hem I wanted a call back from the manager and was told "he'll call if he has time." He did call and apologized and let me know that the cart was ready but they scratched the new paint job while putting the roof back on. I got the cart after three weeks and it was not serviced and the color did not have the flakes. I paid them the asking price for the paint work minus 10%. They are the most disorganized company I have ever worked with and the people I spoke with by phone were rude, except for the manager, Corky. I would not recommend this business since there are many other companies that will do a better job with fewer if any hassles.

The technician was kind enough to suggest moving my existing rear tires to the front because they had more tread which would have been a great idea but I needed those rear tires replaced because of a cut in the sidewall. The young man that took my information was told that I needed brakes, shocks, and flushing of all fluids which would cost well over a thousand dollars. I refused and said just fix the mount please. It was about 20 min later, the manager came over and said that I needed brakes and the shocks were all 90% gone front and back. I refused again and said just fix the mount. The 3rd time, the manager took me to the service department. The mechanic had all the wheels off, and the manager then said, "Legally maam I have to show you the brakes and that you badly need brakes. I cannot be legally liable if you get in an accident." He scared me so bad, that I said just do the front ones. He said he would take $100 off if I had all of them done. I said ok if it's really that bad. He then gave me a bill of $900.00 with an itemized list of all the things wrong with this car. I then took my car to another establishment to see if in fact I do need shocks. The new establishment (Mr. Carburetor) on Pipken, said absolutely not. Your shocks are fine. Does Mavis in Lakeland do this to everyone that is a senior. Scare them to death to do mechanical work? I would like a refund.
