Follow up to my earlier review !!! Thank you Kevin Teller !!! The best sales rep !! He was able to help us find the perfect R/V for our budget and needs. We could not have had a better experience.

Had my previous post taken down because I posted the manager of this crooked dealerships name and phone number. So here we go again. No matter what any salesman tells you get it in writing and signed by the manager. If not you will likely be on your own. Salesman told us that any 30 day warranty work could be done at the Sanger McClains where they took my rv to the KOA in Sanger that's associated with McClains. Had a small problem, walked to McClains from KOA to ask if someone could take a look, guy says sure, he'd be over in few minutes. Instead got call from Corinth shop saying any warranty work had to be done at their shop, not where I was. Find out our salesman lied to us and he had been fired. Just don't trust salesmen at this rv place. No matter how small get everything, and I mean everything in writing. Don't be left holding the bag like us.

**BUYER BEWARE** worst experience purchasing a rig ever. The Sales process was pretty smooth, responsive, had some answers, etc. but after meeting with finance and they have you on the hook for a rig customer service goes out the window. I literally had to go back to my sales guy multiple times to get an answer from sales or someone higher. Here are some things I learned through this experience; - If your looking for a used rig, nobody knows nothing about it. Not the history, prior issues etc. so don't get caught up in the sales pitch. - AFTER you purchase the unit is when an inspection is done, only then will you know the true condition on the unit. - I had a leak and warped roof trim, do you think the fixed it or reimbursed me? Nope. - I have a tear in my couch that they were supposed to fix. It took me reaching out more than THREE times for an update only to be told oh yea it's here just bring it in. I tried to schedule a time, again NO REPLY. - I traded in a unit which I was low balled on, only to have them sell it for 20k more than they paid me. This is how they treat their 'family'. $20k! - I have dealt with the McClains brand three times at two different dealers. Considering this was a corporate or regional office I hoped that it would be different. NOPE. - everything that has been fixed has been at my expense unfortunately. So beware if you go here especially if you purchase a used unit or trade one in. - The sad part is that this is the experience you will find in 75% of dealers. It's Sales at the end of the day. All I ask is transparency. You don't lie to folks and sell them things you don't really do. - I hope the someone reads this who can make impact in the future. I don't need a standard reply of "sorry your experience wasn't ideal etc, bring it in so we can make it right...". Time is money folks and I'm not stopping my life cause you responded publicly. IF you want to reply make it have substance. Happy hunting folks!

I took my Grand Design 376th in for warranty work 3 months after purchasing it. That was back in February. I'm just now getting to the review as it needs service on the black tank but I sure as hell am not taking it here if I have any other options at all. Calling Grand Design Tuesday morning after Memorial Day. McClains does such shitty work and their service guys are so freaking rude, I'll make sure they don't get my warranty work and that's good money from Grand Design!!! Screen door latch broke before I'd even moved in. Leak in the front corner. Monitor gauges not correct. Bedroom wardrobe loose. A/C in bedroom not blowing cold air. They got me in very fast as I live in it and I was a "Honeymooner in service level. First time to own an RV and they never told me I couldn't put regular toilet paper down the toilet so they said it was also stopped up "draining slow" so it would be an extra 165.00 to flush the toilet paper out as warranty wouldn't cover it. I had put gorilla glue in the latch and put duct tape on it to dry and never took it off. They took it off and said warranty wouldn't cover it as it was ruined but I did a better job fixing it than they would have. I called Gran Design service and talked to them about the black tank flushing and they said they would cover it but not next time. Said they don't know McClains would say that as if anything they fix more than they should. Ok as that will never happen again now that I know. They fixed the front leak. They kept adding their tank cleaners to get the gauges clean and moving the unit back to their "camp ground ". They didn't connect anything so I did the electric. Went without water for 32 hours. They emptied the tanks again filled them back up to sit overnight and they were like go down to the gas station but don't use anything. AT 3 o'clock IN THE MORNING???? Yes. We'll empty it tomorrow. One of their guys opened a cabinet in the kitchen that next day and broke a 129.00 Riedel wine glass, they did pay for it. I DON'T WANT PEOPLE OPENING MY CABINETS WHEN THEY ARE IN THERE TO FIX A BEDROOM THERMOSTAT. I tell service Peter Pacheco they had no business IN the cabinets, his rude ass tells me technically I have no business back in their yard where my RV is. I HAVE NO PLACE ELSE TO GO WHEN IM OFF WORK. MY " HOUSE" IS IN THEIR YARD. So I'm thinking they emptied the tanks as they were in my RV. It freezes that next night but I left the kitchen water tinkling as I know it's going to freeze. IT FLOODS!!! (Slight exaggeration). But I'm up at 4 AM cleaning water off the sinks, under the sinks and the kitchen floor!!!! Again Peter whose my "trusted service guy and will take care of me", is freakin RUDE again. Who treats their customers like that, that has just plopped down 95,000 for a brand new RV with 3,000 extended warranty????? They hadn't done anything for 2 days but come in and open a cabinet door and beak one of my expensive glasses. The manager Tom when I call tells me that he's sending the sales guy down to show me how to work the monitor system. ???????? Really I think I can do that!!! It's worse now before I brought it in as it was only 33 % full now it's 66% when it's supposed to be empty and they were supposed to be fixing them. I showed the salesman exactly what I'm talking about. He finally gets it and yes, he'll tell the Tom what happen. I see Tom a couple hours later but Aaron didn't tell him what was going on. After a week they get the a/c thermostat in but my RV has to sit there until Monday when the salesman can take it back to my lot as I don't have my truck yet. Again he doesn't put the RV where I told him to. My tanks are worse off, now it's all 3 but hey, I have air...

We have 3 little kids and having the bathroom and TV was super handy, and they definitely got a kick out of the whole experience. You can't beat the price, $800 for 4 days with no milage cost. Make sure that you understand the return times and dates. The owner Randy was was flexible on the return date (we got in late on day 4 and returned the RV on day 5) We went over all the details of the RV with the owner (fairly quickly, so pay attention!), but we did NOT cover anything with regard to the TIRES. We had a rear tire blow out (dual axle so it wasn't super dangerous) in the middle of nowhere, Arkansas, and had ZERO phone reception and no tools. DO NOT attempt to fix a flat yourself! We got lucky and were only a few miles from a gas station that had a phone. The cost for repair will be ON YOU (see agreement), so be warned. Also, before you rent the RV, you should check with your insurance and see if they would cover road hazard for and RV (AAA wanted me to purchase an "RV" upgrade, even thou I don't own the RV). Overall, a pretty good experience, would do it again.

My main beef with the place is that we signed our contract weeks before the rental day, but when we showed up to get the RV, the manager had another two pages of add-ons that we had to initial in order to rent the RV. This seems a little shifty to me. Also, the RV was missing the awning and the oven didn't light. For the price, I would have expected a better experience.

Chance and his trainee Brian greeted me with openess and support with what I was looking for. Chance listened to my needs and wants and quickly combed through their inventory and we came across my New Northern Spirit Coachman! It is perfect for my situation and had all of the upgrades and the build was way better than most other brands I had looked at. Chance did a great job getting me the specs and information to make sure it was the right fit for my truck and was able to quickly answer my concerns. We then got to the not so fun part, negotiations. I had a budget and this unit was well above it, but Chance introduced me to Sydney, the sales manager. Sydney took the time to get to know my situation as well as getting to know me. I felt like both of them cared about what was important to me and we came to a good price that was fair and we made sure I had all of the accessories and hitch to make sure my RV expreience was setup for sucess versus headaches when you are out in nature with no resources. After we closed on the sales price and signed the deal, the service team headed by Steven was another positive experinece. Steven with his NY accent, which I loved, walked me through all of the ins and outs of the new rig. He gave me the run down of storing and winterizing the rig as well as tips and tricks to help make my experince setup for success. I did have an issue with the installation of my washer dryer combo but Nick, the owner, steped up and made it right by giving me some consessions and that made the issue feel less negative. Overall buying any RV or vehicle is going to be a long and stressfull process but the team at Camping World did a great job making my process easy and did it was class and I felt like part of the family. Thank you Team! P.S. Alexis at the front desk is also a rockstar of a person who was warm and welcoming. Thank you!

Chance was great and even offered to stay late so I could see some RV's up close and personal. He'd only been there 3 weeks, but he had a great attitude and desire to help. He gets 5 stars and I'd work with him, if only he'd go to work for a reputable company... I told him as much once everything came to light. Things were going so well until we sat down to talk numbers. I had done a little research in advance so when they tried to pitch me on paying them $70k for a $40k camper I immediately had red flags go up, but wanted to give them a chance to make a reasonable offer, they didn't. They included all kinds of outrageous fees like $1500 for a "1 hour walk-thru of my 2025 brand new camper including them fixing anything that's in disrepair." I did question this at the time. "That makes no sense. Why would I need to pay to fix anything on a BRAND NEW camper? As far as the technician walking me through... I'm happy to pay $150 for that 1 hour service, but not $1500." The slick young sales manager in his Gucci belt doubled down and said it was a thorough walk through... These guys are smoking crack in my opinion. They could have had a client for years and sold me multiple units. Instead they showed me their true colors before we ever got out of the starting blocks and I called them out. I will NEVER do business with them or give them another shot at my business. More so, as I told them, I will tell everyone I can to avoid them like the plague. I'm not alone as there's apparently entire Facebook groups devoted to how bad Camping World is to their customers.
